blondie I am sorry that you are struggling. It makes sense that you are more hungry now that you are healthy again, but you can get through this!! If you think that changing things up will help then you should totally do that! I have tried a ton of different things to get me through this process and when one stops working I try another.

boop If you can get 3-4 days of "normal" eating under your belt the cravings should subside...you can make it though the rest of the weekend!!

I just remembered about this challenge while updating my tickers today!!! I'm sorry I have been so absent in posting here. I just came to double-check the ending date because it's been so long, lol. I struggled with a slow month in February and it set me back quite a bit. Last week was a goose egg, as well...so, needless to say, I highly doubt I'll be able to make my goal in the remaining 10 days since I have almost 7 lbs left to go and am currently on TOM, but I will do what I can...

Again, I'm sorry I went MIA on this thread...hope everyone is doing well!!

Up a pound from last week's weigh-in but happy to be back in the 160's!

Thanks kfunk I did well on Saturday then overdid it on Sunday again. Ugh. Yes. I need to power through a few days so I can resist the snacking monster I set off in my brain.

ETA: Not sure what my next goal will be yet...I'll reassess when we get to the 21st. On a positive note, I started back at the gym Friday and again this morning before work.

BlondieCJ and boopchick, you can both get back on track and stay with it. Yesterday is passed, you can't change it so forget it! Today, everyday, is a new day and your slate is wiped clean. Don't spend any of your energy beating yourself up about being a human being. You are both successful and have beat this more days than you indulged so you already have a pattern of success to go back to. Treat those negative thoughts as if they're being spoken to someone you care about. You wouldn't allow someone to trash your child or best friend(insert your person here) while you said nothing, love yourself as much and tell that stupid, negative voice to get out of your face! I know you can do it. I agree with ange82much, no matter how you actually feel, tell yourself something different, eventually you will become the positive you want to see!

I will probably not be making my second goal but i've done much better than I thought I would. Let's end this challenge at the best we've been!

ophelia Nice to see you check in!! Maybe your TOM will go away and then you will get a nice whoosh to end the challenge!

boop Good job getting back into the 160's! You are doing great this challenge!! Its awesome that you got back to the gym! I have also gone 2 days in a row, hoping to get back tomorrow since today wont work out with my schedule. I am struggling to figure out a goal for next time. I have had the same goal 2 challenges in a row and I haven't come close either time.

momtopands You are kicking butt!!

blondie How are you doing?

boopchick: Good job on hitting the gym!

momtopands: Wow, you've made amazing progress in this challenge! I'm so far behind that I wasn't sure how everyone was doing...you're all doing a good job!

kfunk: That would be nice!

ophelia wow, -18.6 is amazing!!!

SOOO I did terrible last night and ended up binging. I ate until I almost puked. ugh! Plus, today I feel like continuing on with the crap, but will power through the next few days. On the positive side, this was my first cheat day in over 3 weeks, I just wish that I could control them instead of going crazy.

kfunk: Thank you! Seeing that was a nice reminder that - even though I've slowed down considerably for the last month or so - I've still made some decent progress since the challenge started! It made me feel a lot better, lol. And, I'm sorry your cheat day turned into a binge! That's always rough and makes me feel like I'm in a food coma of sorts for the next day or so...but, I know you can tap into that willpower and get everything back on track today. I know those cravings are still there, but remember that nauseous feeling from the binge and know you'll just feel like that again but worse if you do it again so soon. You've been doing great, so I don't think this one day will throw you off! You've got this.

168 this morning.

kfunk I'll give you the same pep talk you gave me. You can get through the next few days and those increased cravings! I'm not making my goal this time either but we have both made great progress!!

Hi ophelia! I am so happy I finally got my butt back to the gym. It feels great! Why is it so hard to go back when you stop?

Have a great day!

ophelia and boop Thank you! I am going to finish out the month strong!! I made it through yesterday without caving and same with today. I should be on the straight and narrow now! I have been struggling to get in my water the past 2 days though, I am barely at 40 oz today.

It does feel great getting to the gym! For me it is all about routine, if I fall out of it I am screwed!

I'm with you kfunk. Routine is everything. I go off the rails so easily without it!

Have a great weekend everyone!
