Hello all, have not posted in a couple weeks. I see you all are doing well. Have been dealing with a health issue. After being menopausal for almost 5 years, I started a period 4 weeks ago and it lasted 2 weeks. Another started yesterday. =( I definitely believe this has slowed my progress, 13.6 down, 6.4 to go.

Well, that is terrible. I'm sure that has slowed your progress. It would mine. I'd need a bucket of ice cream! But even with slowed progress, your are on track to make goal so you go girl!

Thank you! Have not cheated at all, but I am guessing the progress has slowed due to water retention. I enjoy the program I am doing and never feel deprived so I will press on. The alternative is remaining fat.

Hmmmm. Had jumped back to 180 on Friday, so this is a good drop, but not good overall. I just started using "Lose It!" on Friday. It syncs with my fitbit, and I have found this to very helpful in determining if I'm overeating. I don't eat it if I don't want to have to admit it when I'm logging it! LOL! Congratulations to all you LOSERS out there!

But most importantly - we're still here!!!
I've not been doing this for a whole year yet, so I'm not sure if there is a "cycle" ... however, next year I will keep an eye for July and August because they have been wicked for me this year. I've made zero progress for the month of August. Well, I lost and was at my lowest, and then I gained 4 pounds in a week ... ARGH!! Need to eat better and smart and CONNECTED!!
Emerald - I saw the post about TOM ... well that just must have taken you by great surprise. I'd a been quite miffed!! I hope things are working out for you...
I've had a slip up. I'm back on the wagon, but my weight is a little up. It bounced all the way to 222.4, and I really freaked out for a day or two, but it is coming back down steadily now. Still hoping to make goal.
Current Weight - 219.0 lbs (8.8 lbs lost, 11.2 lbs to go)

Yes, it did, 2 periods in 1 month after having none for a looooooooooooong time. lol...1st one lasted 2 weeks, then 1 week break and another started. I have a doctor's appt, but my weight is still going down, slowly but down.
Ok where I was 3 weeks ago but good side is I have stayed in the 220's and not gone back to the 230's in 4 weeks. to me!! been stressing a lot this last week. I really need to get moving. I have gotten so lazy. Everyone is hanging in there and that is great!!
