I just started dieting Sunday night/Monday morning and I'm going to jump in here late in the game, but better late than never eh? Since I'm doing the IP diet, I am imagining my weight loss to go pretty fast the first month so my goal is 15 pounds.

At least it's beginning to head in the right direction.

I know it will go down eventually as I've done nothing to make it go up. We can't always have a love fest with the scale and I had a much longer one than I've ever had before. This is at least familiar! :-)

Not sure how today will go since it's my mother-in-law-to-be's birthday and we might be going out to eat. I'm generally pretty good about eating out but that's because I usually know where we're going and if we're going ahead of time. Also, I generally don't go out to eat twice in one week. Berrybondeboys: glad it's going down for you. Periods like to mess things up a lot, I gain a lot during mine, and it takes a few days for it to go back down. Luckily mine has been every 50 days instead of 30, so I don't have to deal with that as often. (I'm breastfeeding)

Congrats everyone. I was up 0.4 after one day TOM (and still puffy the magic dragon). I thought I was going to scream! But I didn't. Puffiness and cramping are starting to subside as the day goes on and the water goes in. Forced myself to eat breakfast (pepperoni and thin slices of Parmesan....the only thing that didn't make me gag). Lunch was very late and a small lunchmeat sub....probably not the healthiest choice, but it's only the third takes out/restaurant lunch I've had all summer (which is good for me). Tomorrow's a new day and hopefully a water loss.
