I was admitted to hospital - remember my locked jaw - well they rushed me in and whipped out the culprit wisdom tooth - had a look around under anaesthetic (when they could open my mouth).. have slightly more opening now (enough for a spoon) and exercises to do but the outlook to improvement is 'months not weeks' so in this for the long haul to get my muscles back strong enough to open my jaw.

    Back on plan today (home today) and pushing forward to see a loss for August still - will use home scales to see what damage has been done. lol
    Oh no! I hope you recover quickly. Take care of yourself.

  • It's so hard to trust the system and big picture when the scale decides to not reflect your hard work. I'm not sure if TOM is coming, if it's a delayed reaction to eating out this week, if I'm not calculating correctly, or if it might just be this nasty humid weather. All I know is that I want a whoosh again!!

  • Goal was to lose 12 pounds this month, but that's not looking doable. If I can lose 10, I'll be satisfied. Have to get to 182 or lower tomorrow (halfway through the month) to feel like I'm on pace to lose 10.

  • Thanks ladies for the well wishes. Am puffy faced and thick cheeked, but otherwise ok. Am back at work tomorrow (I work in a shop) so hoping the weekend goes ok as I've had a few shifts off due to pain before the op and don't want to push my luck.

    Weighed in 2lb up this morning so working on getting back on track and losing the lbs. Weigh in on Tuesday night so will use that to total loss for august so far.
