  • Hey ladies! What a start to the week eh? No personals for me today, just a quick blurb from the cell. I am keeping up though. Just finished up 4.6 miles after work and I'm exhausted. Scale still idle for me but TOM is on his way out! Crossing my fingers that whoosh comes soon! I've been on-plan, under calories and exercise is on point, so something has to give. Thankfully, staying sane as TOM just stays with me. in any case, just 2 more days until the weekend.

  • Whatever that water weight was about is beginning to come off. I'm 100% on plan and have been 100% on plan, so I just have to realize this is just water and my body doing something hormonal, probably.

  • Jacqui You were right, I did just fine. We went to Olive Garden and I went with their garlic rosemary grilled chicken. Even though I'm not a purposeful low-carber I know that a lot of simple carbs makes my cravings nearly unbearable which then triggers binges. So I stayed away from pasta and only had 2 bread sticks. I ended staying on plan so that was great!!

    I'll admit, I told myself yesterday that as long as I hit 199.8 I'd be happy, but honestly I got on, and even though I'm in onederland now, it was just depressing. I wanted another 2pounder.. lol It's silly I know, I should be happy with -1- and I'll just have to make sure to work harder today so that maybe it'll be down to 198.8 or less.

    PrairieQueen- .4 isn't bad with TOM. it'll drop and then some after it leaves. A sub sounds so good right now and I'm breadless for who knows how long (still have 70 pounds to go for my total goal) good luck and I hope you get a whoosh tomorrow

    Jacqui D- Woo! 1 pound right after a 2 pound yesterday is great! I'm glad I came here, I tried a few diets before and used one close friend and she fell off the grid and so did the diet! I felt I needed a group rather than a single person.

  • No second week weigh in for me (weighing weekly on a Tuesday with slimming world group). I was admitted to hospital - remember my locked jaw - well they rushed me in and whipped out the culprit wisdom tooth - had a look around under anaesthetic (when they could open my mouth).. have slightly more opening now (enough for a spoon) and exercises to do but the outlook to improvement is 'months not weeks' so in this for the long haul to get my muscles back strong enough to open my jaw.

    Back on plan today (home today) and pushing forward to see a loss for August still - will use home scales to see what damage has been done. lol

  • Hello ladies! Once again, no time for personals, but since I was on the computer I had to do a quick drive by...
    Been on the phone all morning looking for an OBGYN who isn't booked through the end of the year. Lucked out and got an appointment for an U/S on Monday...dang TOM Jr. is still hanging around! Day 11 here folks, six whole days after I got rid of TOM! I am done. Done I tell you!
    Anyway, onto the details...

  • 8/01 - 170.0 lbs, then down to 169.4, then TOM and up to 170.2, today is day three of TOM and finally a dip to 169.6 and my last heavy day. I'm hoping for another small dip tomorrow!

  • Goal is to lose 12 pounds this month. Not sure it will happen; my 3 lb/week weight loss seems to have slowed down dramatically in the last week. Still, if I can lose a total of 10, I'll be happy.
