Allowed myself to fall off track...may not make my goal for Feb and need to get focused! You are all doing so wonderfully!!
Congrats on making goal early gardnerjoy!
Sorry to hear about your back issues tinaj. I have similar issues when I wake up and when I walk...it seems to get better for me as I warm up my muscles but I also think my bed is too soft (a bed I just spent a fortune on...ugh). Hang in there!
CakeGirl75: what small change could you make today that would help? My success, this month, is due to focusing on my two snacks. Most days, I'm either skipping the second one or making it smaller than I ever believed would be satisfying (but it turns out, with an open mind and a great orange, it actually is).
I met the 5-pound goal in my Ticker! I'll set up a new Ticker tomorrow, but for today, I'm going to enjoy seeing the goal met!
February goal: -0.9kgs
SW: 86.9
CW: 85.3 (-0.5)
GW: 86.0

Took a trip to Sam's and stocked up on all kinds of healthy stuff...went home and cleaned house, kids were crying "don't get rid of that!" to almost every junk food item I tossed but I can't even have the stuff in the house with me if I plan to succeed. We never really have much terrible food items in the house but their cereal was a bit too sugary and I swapped out their chips for veggies and just little things like that.
Down 1 pound of the extra 3 I gained this month. Goal for end of Feb is looking a bit out of reach, I will just have to make up for it in March!
I think I need a new scale...the numbers on mine like to go up or stay firmly where they are...
According to "faulty" scale, up 2 pounds. All kidding aside, I know it's not the scale and I need to get my butt in gear and get this done.

Sounds great gal And that is doing right by your children also. When I was growing up it was 3 meals a day, no sodas (with maybe 5 exceptions a year when in town), and candy only when in town... sometimes. Home made cereals such as rice, cream of wheat and oatmeal were the norm. Sometimes Wheaties, puffed rice, Post Toasties were out for us. But mostly a sugar free diet other than that. No candy nor chips nor any other snacks were in the house. Bread choice was not the best though, mom bought the white type as almost everyone did back then. Not much was known about the benefits of whole grains back then. I myself did not switch to whole wheat until I was married and got step kids. The wife only bought white bread then. I started eating the whole wheat, which I did not like so well at first but it grew on me rapidly. I told her we ought to switch out to only whole wheat while the kids were small. She did not want to at first because they probably would not like it. I told her that after about two weeks of whole wheat they would like it fine. And they didn't like it and complained. About three weeks later she brought home some white bread... And the kids complained, they no longer liked it So that was the end of white bread for us.
Children need to be taught right while they are small enough. They will be fine and thank you for it later. Meanwhile... may be seen and heard
Joy, you are doing FANTASTIC !!!! Keep showing us how gal
