I sure like your starting statement Joy

I did not make my goal last month but I am well satisfied with where I am now. The last I weighed a almost two weeks ago I was 196. Only two lbs over my starting point.

The last I posted I had the swelling. Doctor gave me prednesone which took care of that. I had some problems with getting all the symptoms of not having enough energy due to lack of food, sorry, but I do not have single word to describe that thought, .. but I was not feeling hungry at the same time. So I ate more. And added more until those symptoms were not there. Needing to eat but not feeling hunger. So I had to eat kinda like "flying by the seat of my pants"...

That leveled out. I was doing a lot of hard work during that same time also. I stayed aware of about how many calories I was taking in and added more protein in the form of eggs and salmon to my otherwise vegetarian eating style.

My weight had gone up from my Dec low point of 94.? to over 208 then back down to 197 the last I weighed. Then my scales lost their batteries... Kinda like me losing my mind Anyway though I buy them by packs of 20 I found myself out of them and it was two more weeks before I could remember to get some when I am in town. And Mrs. Snark did not call me to remind me either But I finally remembered and got some and installed them and climbed onto the scales which made some funny face at me oL... means somthing... dunno what. Anyway I gotta buy a new scale grrrr. So will order that later tonight if I get the time.

So that plus losing 6 lbs from whatever my weight is when I get those scales will be my goal.

I want to reply to many of the posts that I took time to read bud did not have time to reply to... but don't have the time.

But lots of wisdom being shared plus the caring encouraging environment here is absolutely wonderful.

Mossy, thanks for that glowing post you made about Mrs snark and I. But others add a lot of wisdom here also and I will thank them for doing so. And others add to the light side of the conversations here as well trying to liven it up.

PinkKat's taking a stand is admirable and I commend her for it It is not easy to stand against that which is commonly thought is one way but you are sure it is another. I want to tell a few stories about that but simply do not have time nor the time to address other post at this time and have not had the time is why I have not posted in so long. And I do not have the time to write what I am now and it is costing me time I do not have to write this much... But I consider it worth it. I gotta get out of here to work and have a 50 mile drive up into the mountains to get there and with these short days I need all the daylight time for work related.

Keep it up all and let's have a fantastic Feb.

I decided to start with today's weigh in, I have a tattoo removal session tonight which hurts like **** and causes my body to freak out. I also usually give in to pizza and alcohol the night of my removals, kind of a reward for dealing with the pain... I need a better reward, I know, but that is hard to consider when I have what amounts to 2nd degree burns on both wrists from a laser burning out my tattoos.

Anyways, this all means that my weight tomorrow may be doing goodness knows what, so I would rather start with today's weight which I know is not being affected by anything out of the ordinary.
