Olivia---I feel the same way about 180s. You will beat the 220s.
Gardner---thanks for the welcome. Boating and 183---gasp! The thought of no iPod for me is devastating so hope the DVD player and laptop issues get fixed. Soon---your weigh ins are like mine...except I started out at 211 and yesterday was 215.8 due to pizza. I ate 3 pieces last night with a coke because a coworker ordered. I know I worked my tail off at work the past 2 nights and I already burned the calories off and I am dealing with the bloat of gas, constipation, water retention from the episode. Don't let the numbers derail you. Night---see above post.darned pizza |
Thank yooooou so much!! I'm so excited! Now, here's to hoping it sticks through the weekend! I eat a lot more cals on Sunday so we'll see how it goes ;)

I had never done a fat fast of any kind so this was new for me. It seems to have worked! I ate far, far more calories than I usually do, but it was all fat, and I am seeing results. But eating all that fat made me feel nauseous http://www.lowcarbfriends.com/bbs/im.../sick_2011.gif and I am not sure I want to do it three days in a row. Bleah. Still, I think three days will net me better results; maybe I can get deeper into ketosis if I stick with it for three days... hmmm... still deciding... |
shr1nk1ngme - I remember when I had gotten down to 165 once and I went to my fitness club for a health assessment. They couldn't believe that my cholesterol, blood pressure, and blood sugar were all SUPERB and my diet over that year had consisted of 36%-39% fat calories. He couldn't understand how I could acheive the muscle mass and stats I did while eating what he considered "higher" fat diet. I'm a believer in fat. I don't think it's the enemy. I would fail miserably without fat in my diet lol. And my results are always super! :D

Back from the vacation, tomorrow will tell if/how much damage I did during my vacation.

SW 202.8 (last month goal was 202, almost there!!!)
GW 198 -4.8 Feb 1: 202.8 Feb 2: 203.0 Wrong direction!!!! 3 4 Feb 5: 202.4 Feb 23: 207.2 Almost a 5 pound gain. Can't say I am surprised. With no power for most of the month we had a ton of fast food and junk food. It was too icy and cold to walk out side and of course no power = no tread mill. But things are settled down now. I am back on track and back to weighing in and walking everyday. I am still not giving up, this is not a temporary diet but a forever life style. |
Joy, thanks! It's good to be back! I've missed chatting with everyone. I just have to get up earlier so I can get more done, lol! And it's great that when you go off-plan, you always get back on plan. That's the way to keep from gaining over the long-term, so it's all good! :cp:
Susan, good for you! I'm like you. There is no quitting. This is it. I can't afford to throw in the towel. My health relies on my sticking with it, and so if I don't make goal this month, there is always next month! Olivia, I agree! Fat in food is not the enemy. :hungry: Shr1nk1ngme, Oh my, your cat is SO gorgeous! I have an all-black cat, a black and white tuxedo cat, and a white cat with black spots, all short-hair. All 3 of my cats have very different personalities. My tuxedo cat sounds like yours and AAD's. She so sweet but she hides when other people come around. My white with black spots cat is a sassy cat. She's just as likely to hiss at you as purr, lol! And then my boy, Ichabod, as I mentioned before, is just so sweet and friendly! :D AAD, Ichabod doesn't know a stranger and will sit on the lap of anyone who sits down! Heaven help them if they are wearing white, lol! Sum, I hope you had a great and relaxing time! :beach: MarliQQ, congrats on the nice drop! :goodscale: |
