Howdy Ladies! Nice to see that there's less (pounds wise) of us all! Keep up the great work. I'm still plugging away slow & steady.

Stephanie, 2 Pounds! Woohoo! & Kittkatt, 1.6 pounds! Great job! Nice to see your hard work is showing. I know how discouraging it can get when you don't see the losses you think you should see, but keep plugging away. They keep telling me that slow & steady wins the race. My daughter is great, she sends me encouraging little texts or emails once every week to remind me that this isn't about losing weight quickly for some special occassion. It's losing it & learning healthier lifestyle choices so that way it stays off for life. That is my true goal!

Hey guys! I didn't fall off the wagon.. Just been so busy I forgot to log my weight on weigh in thursday... So on Thursday I was up 2.4 lbs... I was not happy.. I let myself go nuts over the weekend.. It was my 2 year old bday and my TOM lol so I ate cake...and more cake... And pizza.... But thankfully it's Saturday and i have almost removed he damage.... I went shopping today and had to buy a medium for the first time in years... It was strange... And one of me neighbors I hadn't seen in awhile told me she thought I had a house guest cuz she didn't recognize me..lol it's so strange to me..I'm so used to being so much larger than I forget I don't look the same anymore.. It's so weird! And ways a few more weeks to go... Good luck guys!!!

Hey all... My weigh in day is tomorrow... But I just had to pop in with a quick vent... People keep telling me... Your disappearing... U better not lose any more weight...Im almost to my original goal.. And I may keep going after that.. But why do people always have to make comments?? I'm short..and have always been large.. I would love to see what I would look like at a healthy weight.. I'm almost there.. But man people.. Mind your business!

Bellasmommy - that has to be very frustrating! I honestly don't think any of us can win. If we're at the weight we're at, then we're fat, lazy, and unhealthy, if we lose "too much" according to what other people think and are used to, then we're doomed as well.

Through this yo-yo of the last 15 years, I have learned that I have to do what makes ME happy. Obviously binge eating up to #247 wasn't it. I was feeling pretty good at #185, and even better at #160. Now I'm working to get back to even those weights. I'm like you - I have a fluid goal set. I might feel that #145 isn't where I want to be in the end... I'm doing this for ME - not anyone else.

I think this happens often. People keep asking me if I'm going to continue to lose weight. Yes I'm down almost 70lbs but I still weigh 237lbs. Soooo of course I'm going to continue to lose weight. One girl told me she doesn't like people to change. What does that mean? You want me to stay unhealthy for your sake?
