Good morning ladies,

Mandy - Your are rockin it with the exercise girl! Keep up the great work.

tavvy - I hope your first day of all organics goes well and I hope you're able to get some rest today.

Penguin - I hope your new eating plan is going good too.

So far so good for me. I've been 100% OP but the scale has been bouncing between 213-214 all week. I'm completely okay with it as I know I'll eventually have a whoosh. That's just how my body does it and I just have to be patient.

I hope everyone else is doing good.

konfyoozed, 865 calories, wow good job! why did i quit going to the gym =_=

GettinFit, amazing, if only i could give all 100% everyday..

today i overate.. i didn't binge, but did eat much more than planned: about 2200 calories (planned: 1200-1300 everyday) . so i'm quite angry at myself.. when i'm at home 1200 calories is perfect for me, but when i'm at school, i get hungry every 1.5 hours or so =_=

but tomorrow is a new day with new chances, sooo i'll do my best!
(:

Lunch at Olive Garden with my parents, then reading/gardening. Hubby and I grilled out filet mignon, we recently started going to a butcher shop as opposed to the grocery store and found the prices much more reasonable, Each 8oz steak was about $5. We cooked them both but split one, saving the other for later in the week. I baked a cake but it didn't turn out well. I subbed eggs, oil and stuff for applesauce and yogurt which in this case didn't work well.

Hubby surprised me with roses, a box of PB choc chip cookies, and a sweet card. We decided we've hit that time when we buy our own gifts now.

Bad news on Hubby's workfront. The took the 5% pay cut, stopped matching our 401k {no big loss they stopped that a few years ago but just recently started it back up, just in time to pull it again} and are changing our Heath insurance so we'll have to pay more. At least he still has a job.

Mandy, you can buy a pool noodle that has a center hole {don't get a solid one}, cut out a 2ft section, and cut horizontally through one side. Slide the noodle onto the barbell and you now have a pad for your shoulders. It also works to not cut the slit and just slide it over one side of the bar.

Default another day

Another day OP Work day was long, 7:30 to 5:00, then went to yoga class, which was exactly what I needed. Scale is down too, below 160.

Penguin: Too bad with hubby job's pay cuts. I am in Canada and am so grateful for our government health insurance. Our taxes may be higher, but I can always go to the doctor and hospital without paying. (sorry, for my political statement)

tavvy: Good to do the organics. I think focusing on health in general would be best if you think that your thyroid is not working right. Eating well, rest, and exercise as you can. The scale will respond eventually.

today I was for the most part on plan! but I didn't exercise as I planned =_= I fell asleep on the couch and woke up at 8.30pm and after that I felt too lazy to workout. I know, very bad of me.

Tomorrow I'm planning to make whole wheat pasta with 2 eggs and some cheese, can't wait! (:

Hi Ladies!
So I'm feeling good, second day of organics was a success. I am back down to 263...please let it be the LAST time I have to say I am "down" to such a high number!!

I have cooked every meal Oddly I have somehow convinced my brain to dislike non-organic foods....yes in less than two days...we have tons of "conventional" food here and I was really craving a salty snack...hmmm...potato sticks (conventional) or flax snax (organic)...on taste alone I say potato sticks, so yum! But I put one in my mouth and spit it out..."what was on the potato that went into this?" is the question that went through my mind. I am pretty anti-bug spray on my own skin, even anti-pesticide (such as frontline) for my dogs and cat...so why in the world was I willing to ingest that for so long? It had never occured to me that I was eating the chemicals that I avoided using in my house or on my skin for so long!

I won't have a lick of trouble sticking to this, I can't imagine eating pesticides, hormones and antibiotics.

I did buy a few "treats" today. Some organic frozen yogurt bars (already had one, they are fabulous), and a few other things that my tired brain can't remember now...lol.

Also, I worked out today!
So, I am going to take up posting my percentages so that I can hopefully avoid a binge...because organic DOESN'T mean less calories!

Calories: 1454
Fat: 69%
Carbs: 15%
Protein: 15%
Exercise: J.M. Body Revolution

So today wasn't perfect but it was pretty good. Here are the ranges I like to stay in:
Calories: 1200-1850
Fat: 60-70%
Carbs: 10-20%
Protein: 15-25%
30 minutes of exercise 6 days a week

Damiilya: Food is the most important part of weight loss! Exercise can always be made up tomorrow Keep up the good work!

Clownfish: I'm cheering for you!! You can do this

Waterlady: Great job on the loss! I do have hypothyroid, which I take medicine for, I am afraid it is getting worse but it could be the hormones and other chemicals in the food I was eating that was making it react poorly! We will know soon enough!

Gettinfit: Your doing a great job! I am sure you will have a whoosh soon!!

Patchwork: Praying for you guys! You have a great attitude, and I am sure it will all work out in the end! Olive Garden has the best salad...I swear they put something addictive in it...I can eat the whole bowl myself!

We had a nice day, a mix of some running errands and trying to get some stuff done in the backyard, more my idea than poor Hubby's, and some hang-out time.

I'm changing my bread making day to tomorrow, so that's not going to help me keep track of the weekdays. I kept thinking today was Sat!

Drat well and truly messed up. Usually I'm a fairly calm person but things have been really irritating me today culminating in opening a can of condensed milk and eating spoonfuls. Do feel calmer though, I know, rubbish excuse!!! However this is my first binge in a week and although it is calorie intense I haven't stuffed myself and I am getting right back on that bronco.
GettinFit you always sound so positive, making healthy living sound like fun. Glad to hear your on the right track again Tavvy.

Default Happy Friday!

Good morning ladies,

Waterlady - Congrats on your loss and on staying OP.

clownfish13 - You are right that it's never too late! There are times when most of us fall off but getting back on track is a huge step to success.

damiilya - Great job on staying OP with your eating. Getting needed rest is just as important as working out.

Tavvy - I'm glad you're liking your plan of eating organic. Reading what you wrote about all the chemicals that are added to the produce and all the hormones in meats really got me thinking too. Keep up the great work and CONGRATS on your loss.

Penguin - I hope you have a great OP day.

Dawny - How's it going for you?

Milly - Sorry to hear about the binge but congrats on getting right back on the bronco. I seem to be in a zone right now and I hope I can stay here.

Yesterday was a good day for me too. I had a NSV - Moe's Southwest Restaurant is one of my favorite places to eat and my job provided complimentary lunch from there for us yesterday. I'd already planned to eat a low fat Subway sub but I struggled with getting the Moe's lunch. At one point I was ready to go and get it but I stopped myself & thought it through and decided not to. I stuck with my plan and at my Subway sub

The scale dropped a little from 213.8 to 213.0. I'm hoping to see 212 soon.

I hope everyone has a great OP Friday
