Alright guys. The measurements of the metabolic reset are in!
This is a new start weight for me. It's a new scale, and a new plan. I weighed in at 277.6 (up by 5.6 pounds from my last weigh in over a month ago). But overall, I'm down by 6 inches. People see the inches, only you see the scale! Remember that!
I'm pretty excited about taking my measurements now. I've been so curious over the last few weeks. Can't wait to see how things start trending.

Hello All!
So glad to meet you Gettin Fit! Cool that you live in the Atlanta area too. I am in Alpharetta. Transplanted from California 5 years ago.
So I have revised by goals a little bit! Tried a juice diet again (started Monday), but my stomach just doesn't like only juice. So my OP has changed. Here are my revised goals for May:
1. Stay OP for whole month! Here is my eating plan: Smoothie or Juice 3-4 per day + One meal. Calories (no more than 1500).
2. Workout 5 days a week. (3 walking + 2 strength training)
3. Drink lots of water each day (64 ozs)
4. Log daily exercise & food
5. Plan ahead and do not procrastinate. Exercise first thing in morning!
6. Weight goal for end of May = 235
Good luck to everybody. Keep moving along.
Made a yummy smoothie this morning and about to head out the door for my walk before it gets too hot.
Can't wait to hear all your success stories!!!

Good morning all,
It's good to see that we're off to a good start this month.
Isabunny - I hope you enjoy your walk this morning. The heat is on here in GA. I'm planning to go for a walk after work today but I'll walk at Stone Mtn in a shaded area so it won't be as hot.
Tavvy, Mandy Penguin, crazygurl61 & clownfish, I hope you all are having a great day so far.
Emmy - if you're lurking, let us know how you're doing. When is your baby due?
Kim - We miss you. I hope you're settling into your new home.
Today's Journal

L: Turkey on sandwich round w/honey mustard (5) 1 C cherry tomatoes, FF dressing (1) FF pudding (3)

Exercise: Walked 2 miles

April was a bit of a bust. I didn't successfully get started again. May is a new opportunity to do this up right. Here's to a clean slate and opportunity to have a month OP!

Maya is a little more calm today. She is so hyper but poor old April is trying to keep up. They spent more time laying in the shade this morning than chasing, but I can tell April is happy to go inside for some 'alone time'. I did some weeding and cleaned up the flowerbed where we moved the holly from. I'd like to plant the herbs there but I might wait until Maya goes home, she likes to lay in the cool dirt...did I mention she's white? She got brushed this morning, as did April who is shedding like crazy.
Hubby texted me that he wants to talk about applying for another job but working for the government. He has a lot of seniority at his company but they are having 'issues'. The government job sounds good, but the downside is we would HAVE to move for at least 2 years and try to 'bid' back. AND We don't get to pick the location of our move. There are a lot of places we don't want to live. I don't think I would survive in the cold North , and we don't really want to live in a big city such as LA, and Hubby would still work at the airport so it would mean a long commute for him. Both of our families are here; its just a lot to consider.

Day 2 going good
I've been doing good. At least portion control even if I have selected a few bad ones. Well, just one. But otherwise, holding strong. Long bike ride today with clips and fell over. It was my first time so hopefully I get better because that hurt!

Hello Everybody. Had a great start yesterday. Stayed OP and fulfilled all my daily goals. Yeah! Feels great, except for the achy feet. Urgh... hard to exercise and then go to my job where I stand for 8 hours. My feet last night were throbbing. Only way to get used to it, is just to keep walking until my body gets accustomed. Wish me luck, getting myself out the door for my walk today.
konfyoozed- Hope your day is better today and your spirits are lifted. We all have those blah days.
penquin- Hard to move somewhere that you have no choice. Prayers that if your husband does get the job, you get to move somewhere wonderful!
tavvy- Great job! Kudos. Keep up the good work. :-)
getinfit- Great job! Keep it up! :-) How was the walk at Stone Mountain? I have never been. Is it all up hill?
wantaBfitnessbuff- Jump right in! Always a new day. If you never give up, you can never fail!
Lets all stay on program today and keep moving towards our goals!
