Barbie, don't know if you have an Aldi's or Price Rite in your area, both are discount grocers in NY. If you do and don't grocery shop there, you can save yourself quite a bit in either one. I just stopped on way way home at Price Rite last night. Their bones chicken is just about 1/2 what it is at the regular grocery and the same with their produce.

Mindy, we got ice last night to top it off. Yuck. I feel your pain on the menopause. Enjoy your weekend too!

Dottington, Is that you in your Avatar? Don't think I ever asked. You are beautiful by the way!

My friends who are not posting, we miss you, we need you, we wish you would return. So you soon!

W 100 double the effort for the weekend
E Practicing Zumbaa, working on C25K (BACK TO SAY, FINISHED W2D2, YAY!)
E POP, trying a new recipe or two though. Got to keep it interesting.
D Peace in my head.

D, I really like C25K. I used it last time, but, as you know, lost my mojo for a bit, so I had to start over. I am a slow runner too, but faster than those sitting on the side!! Sometimes I have to repeat a week, but am only competing with me, so it's all good. If you have an ipod/iphone that works with "apps" there is one called"ease into 5k" I think. That's what it shows at on my phone. It was free and it works with your own music. Like it much better than the one I used before.

Mavis- we don't have any of those all we have is walmart, kroger, triangles, food lion... I do almost all my food shopping at walmart...

Well I am in better moods today... I got to fly today so that relieved some of my stress... I am just trying to study and catch up on all the school work I can...

After a few week hiatus I'm back. Gained 15 pounds. Lost 4 of it this week. My goal for this challenge is to get down to 199. That's about 17 pounds in 15 weeks.

Hope I can make it this time.

Thin, so glad you are back!! We've missed you. Are you settling into the new job now?

Barbie, Walmart has great prices on lots of stuff here too. Just different areas have different stuff i guess. I love those discount grocers for produce, prices are so much better than our regular groceries.

Hey, I am back after a long absence. I broke my ankle in November and am just now close to running normally with physical therapy. I still can't raise up on the ball of my foot when standing on just my bad foot without hanging on to something. But I am working on that.

Since I can't fullout exercise I let my eating get out of control. But I am ready to give it a try again.

This group has always helped me before, especially if I check in daily.
By doing this daily I keep my goals small and usually have more success in the long run. If I manage to keep it up I hope it won't bother all of you to read my daily WEED.

Here goes Day One for me on this challenge:

W - 64 oz. water
E - 30 minutes of walking on treadmill (done)
E - 1200-1400 calories (yikes the evenings are hard)
D - so many to choose from but I will try to change my recent bad habit of falling asleep early evening and then being up for several hours in the middle of the night.

Have a good WEED day everyone. I am looking forward to getting to know some of you. Hey to Mavis, Mtiger and Emiloots - good to see guys are still in this group.
