Laura - Sorry I missed your message on Wed. I do both Royal Caribbean and Carnival Cruise lines. Last year it was Royal Caribbean and this year it's Carnival. Honestly, I think I like Royal a little better. I'm sure you'll do okay with your weight. kirsteng - :welcome: and congrats on your weight loss so far. I hope you have great success over the next few months. I had another OP day yesterday. After work I went shopping and I was soooo tempted to buy some junk/comfort food but I stayed strong and resisted. Also, I passed on fast food for dinner. It's been a struggle this week but I'm slowly getting back to where I want to be. Have a great day everyone. |

Thank you for the support! Yes, salty foods can make a difference and I try to stay away from them. I also have to drink a lot of water bc of doing hot yoga, so that combination does not fare well for the scale... I have readjusted my points based on my new weight. I just think my metabolism is incredibly slow. I lost .5 lb this week. So it's not like nothing is coming off, but I just wish I could have more success with the scale. I will measure myself tomorrow and see what happens since I start my second Bikram challenge! 30 days of 90 minute hot yoga! I'll be a week behind bc I'll be gone all next week, but will get in 3 days (today,sat/sun) then pick it up again next saturday. So figured I'd measure now and hope for progress in the "inches" dept!!!! Looking forward to sharing my success and cheering yours!!! |

I´m down 2.5lbs this week into the magical 150´s!!. I weighed in at 159.6...haha I can´t imput it into the spreadsheet though. I will try again tomorrow!

I have a question about the challenge since I came late into this thread. Have you all defined your challenge to the group and do you post the progress? Thank you! Exercised Friday, (did my hot yoga) then was a bum yesterday - feeling a lot of anxiety about my job interview on Tuesday (not sure I mentioned that) bc it would involve moving cities AGAIN in less than 2 years, but it may be a better opportunity both financially and professionally. Have however, been able to keep the food in check, so at least that is a positive. I am so tense about this and hope I don't get into emotional eating. I won't be able to exercise all next week because I will be out of town interviewing and looking at possible rentals in case I get the offer and accept it. HELP! : ) |

Yes, most of us post during the week or after our weigh-in and say how our week went, the ups and the downs. We are here for each other and I think being part of this challenge, has actually pushed me more then doing this alone. If you are not exercising all week, make sure you adjust your calories accordingly. Good luck with your interview tomorrow!! |

Sarah, awesome picture! You look so cute! You can see a big difference between your new pic & the one you use on your avatar. Good bye 160's look out 150's! Calmedia, you may not be able to get your usual type of exercise, but you can turn your looking for rentals into a chance for exercise. Maybe walk from place to place. Or try walking from the interview. Get some exercise that way. Sightseeing is also a good chance to get to know the neighborhood & get some exercise too. Good luck on the interview! Kim |

Lovemydoggies - Great job on making the 150s:cp::cb: and I can definitely see a difference. By no means do you look chubby on the pic. I wish I were where you are now:smug: If I stick to my plan, maybe I'll be there by the end of the year. calmeida - I hope your interview goes well. Try and stay as calm as possible. Great job on staying on track with your food. I too have one on Wednesday. I've decided that I'll be okay if I get it and okay if I don't. I interviewed for another position about 6 weeks ago and was so dissapointed when I didn't get it that I went into a crazy eating frenzy and just got over it last week. I won't let it happen again. Kandd - How was your weekend? Hope it was good. I'm so happy that this was the first weekend in weeks that I stayed 100% OP both days. I'm so excited. I can't wait to get back down to my low of 208 and then it's on to onederland. I hope we all have a rockin week! |
GettinFit, I had a pretty good weekend. I stayed pretty much OP. My calories were a little higher on Friday then I like, but had a ton of exercise this weekend. I so love the warmer weather.
I bought Jillian Michael's Ripped in 30 DVD & did that Sunday & then went for a 10 mile bike ride in the afternoon. Yesterday my hammies were sore, but I did day two of the Ripped, but didn't go as deep with my squats or lunges. Still a little sore today, but if I keep moving I feel ok. It's only after I sit for a bit. I do have to say I love her dvd. I'm not a Biggest Loser fan at all as I think the show is too unrealistic & the majority of the contestants end up putting the weight back on. So I was really suprised at liking her video as much as I did. I hope I didn't offend any BL fans. Hope everyone has a great day. Kim |

Well, up .2 from last week, but I'll take it as two days ago it would have been up 1.8! Tis the time of the month I bounce around, but I'm sticking to the plan and working out hard - that's all I can do, right?

Gooood morning, ladies! I missed my weigh-in yesterday, but today I'm down a pound from last week. I'm not thrilled, but I've only slept for about 5 hours the last two nights, and that usually impacts my weight loss. Also, I looked my loss over the challenge so far and it amounts to an average of 2.5 lbs/week, which I'm happy with! Plus I got to add another :ink: to my signature ;)
Nightkatt, I'm so sorry to hear about your sister. Having someone you love get sick is the worst thing. I'm glad you're aware of the emotional-eating aspect so you can avoid making a terrible situation worse :hug: Gettinfit, how are you feeling about being back on WW? Congrats on your OP weekend! konfyoozed, Have you upped your calories since realizing you're burning too many (I have never had that problem :lol:)? Kirsteng, welcome! Your vacation sounds amaaazing! I will feel great to be lighter when it comes. Tontus, stupid scales, screwing with our numbers! I hate when I get on a different scale and see a higher weight even when I know it doesn't actually mean I've gained. calmeida, how's the hot yoga going?! lovemydoggies, Woooo!
