GettinFit, I hear you on that. I don't know why the week end are so much harder to stay on track. I do great throughout the week, but as soon as the weekend comes I'm eating way to much.
After destroying all week's hard work last weekend, I'm being very strict this week to get back on track & that includes this weekend. Hope you have a great OP weekend & see great numbers for your WI. I WI on on Wednesdays as well. Kim |
Kandd - Lets challenge each other to stay OP over the weekend. I'm gonna check in every day. I am off work today and I wanted to go out for Mexican for lunch but instead, I'm enjoying a SmartOne Sante Fe Rice & Beans frozen dinner which is satisfying my craving for Mexican and it's only 8 Points.

i didn't even weigh in on wednesday. i forgot! so i just used last week's weight, and will set an alarm on my phone or something to weigh in next week. oops.

I have had a horrible week. We will see what the scale holds on Monday for me. I went away with the girls last weekend and I wasnt crazy while I was gone, I did eat bread and have some drinks, but when I got home I was a whopping 6lbs heavier than when I left 3 days earlier!!! Can you believe that? So, this week I´ve been trying to get that off, I think it was mostly water, because how can a human put on 6lbs in 3 days?!?! I just a feeling a bit down, and my goal looks so far away. I´m trying to no eat about it. Today´s another day.

Hello ladies,
It looks like a few of us are struggling but I know we are going to turn it around and have a great rest of the month. Yesterday was pretty good for me except I had too many OP snacks. I over did it on Weight Watchers 2 pt bars. I guess that is better than eating cake & cookies but I must control those too. Today my goal is to stay in control of my snacking. I am cooking a WW recipe today instead of eating a frozen meal and I thinking it will keep me more satisfied so that I won't want to snack so much. I'm also planning to get in a nice walk today. I hope you all have a great Sunday. |
Hi everyone!
Sorry this is a bit long, but first time writing to you… Just saw this thread and it seems you are all on WW (or most) I am on it online and would love to join you! Have been a bit frustrated bc staying within points and using extra weekly points (almost all, only went over twice and by about 3 which got picked up by my activity points). I do Bikram yoga for exercise, for those who don't know it's a 90 minute intense 26 pose yoga in 105F. I checked with my heart monitor and it burns at least 5-600 calories, which I add as 5 points under hatha yoga (closest I could find) Trying to start doing some weights too. So this is 4-5x a week, so I have 20-25 exercise points a week. I am an ER nurse in a big trauma center and had foot surgery (extensive) last August so am on LTD until end of May. I am still having trouble walking for long periods of time, so am concerned about returning to work since my job requires over 12 hours of constant walking and often running and pushing very heavy people on stretchers. Doing chest compressions is a work out in itself and we unfortunately have to do a lot of them... Another reason for doing Bikram is to strengthen my legs. I spent 2 months in a wheel chair then used a walker, and hot yoga has many one leg poses. This is helping me regain balance, strengthen the operated foot and help rebalance the right leg which had to tough things out to compensate for the left. I can’t walk for long periods of time right now bc my ankle swells and hurts, so am concerned about going back to work, reason why I can’t do more than the hot yoga right now. So my big issue with weight and Weight Watchers has been that I have been doing it for a few months now and have seen very little results regarding actual weight loss reflected on the scale. As I said above, I stay within points and exercise, even did a 30 day hot yoga challenge. I can’t believe it since doing it for 30 straight days is a killer. Unfortunately I didn’t start measuring in the beginning of the challenge, but toward the end, and lost 3 inches waist and hips, and not too much on thighs and arms (where I really could use it) but I feel stronger. Crazy woman that I am, I just signed up for a second 30 days which begins March 24. I plan on measuring, just not sure how often), But bottom line we want to see the scale numbers go down and not seeing it is very frustrating. When you see my profile it’ll say I was 196 and now 175, but I was 196 and lost the 21 lbs from 2009 to 2010, not since I started WW again. So this is fresh start since January 27 when I was 179 and now fluctuate between 176 and 174, so not much. Not sure what I am doing wrong, but am very frustrated. I would appreciate support and input. Thank you so much, and again, sorry if long this time! C |
Hi calmeida5018 - I think its great that you started taking your measurements. Sometimes when the scale doesn't move, you lose lots sof inches. Also, it might help to fluctuate your points, eating on the high end some days and eating on the lower end some days. Hang in there and don't give up, the scale will eventually move down.

Hello Lovely Ladies! Hope everyone is doing great today.
Calmedia, I'm not on WW, so this may be a stupid question, but have you adjusted your points goal since you've weighed 196? I would think as you lose weight your body needs less calories (less points) maybe try decreasing your points. GettinFit, I didn't see your post until this morning, but it sounds like we both pretty much behaved. Yay us! Now let's keep it up! Lovemydoggies, I did the same thing last weekend. I didn't see how I could put on so much weight over one bad weekend. Crazy! Just keep doing what you've been doing & learn from your mistakes. It's all you can do. As for me, I had a very active weekend. Went for a 15 mile bike ride Saturday enjoying this great weather we're having in Michigan. I had over a 3,000 deficit weekend & am hoping to see good numbers on the scale Wednesday. Of course TOM is coming up soon, so I hope I'm not retaining just yet. My eating was pretty much on point, a little higher than normal, but with burning so many calories I think it's to be expected. Also did Jillian Michael's 30 day Shred video that was loaned to me by a friend a few times last week. I've never done videos before, but I'm really liking that one. Boy did I feel it the day after the first time! Keep moving & stay OP! Kim |
Down 1.4lbs this week. I also find it harder to stay on track on the weekends...... I find myself wanting to eat things that I could easily pass up during the week.
|
Tontus - Congrats on your loss this week.
kandd416 - I'm glad you had a good weekend too. I'm finally feeling like I'm getting back in control. I did extremely well today and I did a 3 mile walk after work. I haven't used all my Points today and since I'm not hungry, I'm not going to force myself to eat anything else. I hope everyone has a great evening. |
At the end yesterday I weighed in with a GAIN of +1.5lbs...big boo. At least I got it way down from the 6 I put on during my trip. I´m feeling a little down.

Hi Everyone,
Sorry I've been a bit MIA - I was holding my weigh-ins while I started weight training. Sure enough, I my weight is eeeking down ever so slowly. I'm going to keep at it though. lovemydoggies - 1.5 for a weekend away isn't so bad, you can turn that around!! I have a cruise coming up and who knows what kind of damage I'll do, I'm definiely quite nervous about it. Hopefully I only put on 1.5 lbs that you did :) |
Good morning ladies,
Lovemydoggies - I'm sure you'll have a loss next week. Hang in there. Laura - Great job on your weight training. I really need to get back to it too. If you put your mind to it, you can be successful with your weight on your cruise. I go every year and there have been times when I came back not gaining an ounce and then again, there have been those times when I've let myself go crazy and gain as much as 7 pounds in 7 days. I'm hoping to be at my first goal of 170 when I go this year. Try and get in some workouts at the fitness center and if you like to dance, spend lots of hours in the dance club at night to burn off those extra calories :dancer: I hope you have a great time. I hope everyone else is having a great day! Yesterday was a perfect one for me and today should be a good one too. I am finally feeling back in control. |
Great job of staying on track ladies. It's so nice to read how everyone's doing. We all seem to have our little hiccups along the way, but we're sticking with it & we keep losing.
Have a wonderful day! |
I'll jump in.
Today is March 20th and I'll check in July 4th. I'm tossing my dice on 45lbs. |
