Stlrsgrl, I remember reading that your fat grams should never go below 20% of your daily calories. Your body does need fat for some body functions. But honestly I don't remember where I read that. I just googled it & read that it's supposed to be no less than 15% of your calories, so if you're on a 1,200 calorie a day diet that would still be 20 grams of fat per day. So it does sound like you're fat intake may be too low.

I would suggest when you record your food also record how you felt that day & you can find out if there's something that works best for you.

Have a great day,

Kim

Good morning ladies.

TOM day 2 & the water weight is starting to drop. Of course right after my WI! Ha.

I'm really hoping to get to 174 point something or less for next week's WI. I need to get to 174.4 or less to be out of the obese range on my BMI & into the overweight range. I still can't think of myself as being obese. It's weird how we see ourselves, but we sometimes really don't see.

I've been staying OP with my eating & exercise. Moving my workout to the mornings seems to be working pretty well for me. I'm actually getting my workout in & a little housework done in the morning which is leaving me time to putz around in the yard when I get home. Nice, especially since the weather has been so warm!

Have a great weekend everyone!

Good Morning everyone, I am now 186.6. Two more pounds and I will have lost a total of 50 pounds, I am so excited.

kandd416 06-18-2012 08:59 AM

Good morning ladies.

Stlrsgrl, great job! Wow that 50 pound mark is so close. I'm hoping to see that for you next week. The way you're dropping weight it's coming up very soon. It's such a huge milestone!

My weekend was pretty good, it had it's ups & downs. I saw my lowest yet on the scale at 174 on Saturday, but then last night we had some yummy Mexican food, & I was at 177.8 this morning. Yikes! Darn margaritas. I'm making sure I drink plenty of water today & hope I'm back down to normal tomorrow.

It's only a little over 2 weeks until this challenge is over. So, how did you do?

Kim

Weighed in today at 176.4. It's a little down from last week's WI, but higher than it's been since the little spike on Monday. It's looking like 170 may not happen by the 4th. But it won't be because I haven't tried. I'm going to continue to exercise like I have & keep my calories close to 1700 per day. I will get there eventually, & I'm not going to let the timing of it ruin my week.

Have a great day ladies.

Kim

Yikes, I just entered my weight on the chart & saw that I'm the first entry for this week. Come on ladies, if you're checking in we have two weeks left to lose some weight. You can do this.

Tontus94 06-25-2012 12:17 PM

I missed posting last week. I hate fluctuations in weight!! I know its not a weight gain that is making the number on the scale go up but its still frustrating.

stlrsgirl & kanddd you both are close to a milestone! How exciting!! I always have a mini goal that is exciting to reach. I have .4lbs to lose to make my 4th of July goal(I have hit it twice in the last 2 weeks but these damn fluctations have me up again!!) and 1.4lbs for a 45lb loss.

Time is flying, I can't believe the 4th of July is next week :dizzy:

Good luck ladies! :carrot:

Weighed in today at 175, which is down from last week, but I really don't think I can lose 5 pounds in a week to hit my goal. At least not unless I just give up eating. Which is not an option. lol

I would like to at least finish strong & try for 2 pounds for this last week. I think it's doable, especially since my weight has been fluctuating between 174-173 the past few days. Until WI of course!

Have a great OP week everyone.

Hey ladies, I basically fell off here for a while. I´ve been more or less maintaining these last 2 months just going up and down 2lbs or so.

Sorry I missed things for awhile. I am a little bummed I didnt lose as much as I wanted to these past few months, but life has a way of throwing a lot of curve balls. I´m happy I have been able to maintain and am trying to refocus my energy and get back to losing a little more, but 155 isn´t bad. I´m feeling good and have got my period 4 months in a row for the first time in my life, and thats a pretty huge deal to me!

I´m proud and so happy for all you ladies that have done such a fabulous job in this challenge! I wish everyone continued success!

stlrsgrl43 06-30-2012 01:19 PM

lovemydoggies, glad to see you back.

Well everyone I am officially down 50 pounds, although I don't see it, the scale says it's true. I went from a 26 to a 16 in jeans . Only 34 more pounds to go.

Tontus94 07-03-2012 12:46 PM

I made my 4th of July goal! Down to 216.2 yesterday and my goal was 217, which was a 40lb loss for this challenge!! I can't believe I am actually doing this after some many failed attempts! :carrot::carrot:

Good luck on your journey's, ladies!! Happy 4th of July!!

Are you in any other challenges? I am in the Memorial day to Labor day challenge.

lovemydoggiesx2 07-04-2012 05:37 AM

I put in my finalo weigh in and was 153.4. I started this challenge at 172.5. That´s 19.1lbs!! It´s not as much as I had hoped for but still 11% of my body weight and a great accomplishment. I have learnt so much these last 6 months, and I never want to go back there. I still have about 10 more lbs to lose, and I am sure I will get there, but more than anything I am learning how to maintain.

I hope you are all happy with your results and I wish you continues success!

MARLA26 07-05-2012 02:07 AM

I managed to lose 10 pounds during this challenge. :)
I was hoping for 20, but maybe by the end of this year I will lose a lot more.
We still have 6 months to go by years end.

Best of luck to everyone in the coming months!
