Hey I'm new here and looking to lose the rest of my weight by then. Always love a good challenge and meeting new people. Count me in....

runningfromfat 04-16-2012 06:24 AM

I'm down another pound!! Weighed-in at 158.0lbs. :D

stlrsgrl43 04-16-2012 07:11 AM

lovemydoggies, that is awesome, WTG.

I am still at the same weight, I wonder if I have plateau'd because I have stayed OP. I have lost a total of 38 pounds and this is the first time I have been stuck. Should I try calorie cycling this week?? Has anyone else hit a plateau yet?

Tontus94 04-16-2012 11:32 AM

Glad to hear that those who have been in hiding have gotten back on track!!

Down 3.4lbs this week and sticking to my pattern ;) low week/high week, etc

Paradise ~ I have been drinking a cup of coffee almost every morning since your suggestion and I gotta say THANK YOU!! It is working like a charm.

Here is to another on track week for all :carrot:

Happy Monday all.

Sarah, all I can say is wow! You are rocking this challenge. And you're kind of a small girl, but you're pulling in huge numbers week after week. That shows such hard work & dedication. You so inspire me.

Stlrsgrl, I wouldn't be worried about a plateau. It's only one week, and they say it's usually multiple weeks that indicate a plateau. You've just had such big numbers your body is saying whoa! Keep it up & I'm sure you'll come back strong next week.

I'm so excited because I saw a pretty big drop in the scale Saturday down to 178.4. Of course I was back up yesterday & today, but I seem to get a pretty big drop in the scale for one day (I call it a sneak peek) about 4-5 days before it seems to stick. I would be so happy to get away from the 182-180 range. I've been here for almost a month. Ugh!

I'm about ready to start week 4 of my ripped in 30 DVD & can tell my jeans are getting looser, even if the scale doesn't agree. I do love that DVD. Once I finish week 4 I'm going to take a break from it for about 2 weeks before I try it again. The first time I had to do mostly all the easier versions & I'm looking forward to seeing how far I've progressed.

Have a great day all.

Kim

Whoo hoo! I got a little whoosh & finally broke the 180 barrier! 179 as of this morning. Of course tomorrow is my official weigh in day, so I'm hoping it either sticks or the whoosh continues tomorrow. Dare I hope for the 178.4 I saw on Saturday? Well, I'm hoping, but with my luck I'll be up to 180 something for weigh in tomorrow. lol

Running, I just noticed you're only a couple of pounds away from your next goal. Keep up the good work.

And Tontus, great job. Let the trend continue!

Have a wonderful day ladies.

It stuck! Yay! I am officially in the 170's! 179.6 to be exact. A little up from yesterday, but I will take it.

I was entering it on the charg & was rather impressed by some of the numbers I was seeing. Vicki & Sarah, great job! I'm aiming for my total loss next week to be 4%. Getting greedy because I finally got up to 3% this week. :)

Kinda feeling like I'm talking to myself here. I'm not crazy am I?

Kim

kandd416 Thanks! And it's a big one too (also happens to be my goal for this challenge) so I'm hoping to hit it soon. :D Although, TOM just showed up so it'll have to wait a week or two. :(

Congrats on reaching the 170's!!!!

kandd416 04-19-2012 07:46 AM

Running, thank you. Getting to a healthy BMI is such a huge milestone. I couldn't believe it when I first did my BMI & it said I was obese. I knew I was a little chubby, but obese? I know when my weight is at 174 I will just be overweight & that's the next milestone for me, but my goal for the end of this challenge is a little lower.

So we will have to keep at it & make it to our goals.

lovemydoggiesx2 04-19-2012 08:00 AM

Kandd- You are doing great!!

As for me this week I have been maintaining. No weight loss to date, which is fine since last week I dropped 7lbs! Im just glad Im not gaining. I started a juice fast today (kinda). Im going to eat one meal a day and the rest of the time only juice, I decided not to go straight juice because I think I wouldnt be able to maintain it. We will see how it goes.

kandd416 04-20-2012 08:16 AM

Sarah, you are the one that's doing great. I'm so excited to see you getting closer & closer to your goal weight. I'm plodding along slowly, but keeping at it. I wish I would lose quicker, but heck, at least I'm losing right?

Anyhow, everyone have a OP weekend.

Just a quick stop by .. down 5.1 pounds this week ... makes me feel a lot better ...

its been a hectic and roller coaster couple of weeks ... my sisters cancer diagnosis put me into a spin .... but I have regained control before it got as out of hand as when my nephew passed from cancer a few years ago ... got a promotion to manager at a store further away from me lol .. so thats an up and down thing .. just need to get into a new routine.

So all in all I am happy with the result... it was actually over a 2 week period I think .. but I know I hadnt lost anything that first week as I didnt really pull myself back up until last week lol ..

Well done to everyone this week . .. there are some great figures this week :)

ParadiseFalls 04-21-2012 06:09 AM

Hey ladies!! I'm really happy to see so many of us sticking with it, and I'm so impressed by your progress!! I can't believe we're only halfway through. I think it's really helping me — normally when I'm trying to meet a goal, by this point I would be thinking about how there's so little time left and I screwed it up, but with this challenge it's so easy to look back and see what I've done so far, which encourages me to keep going. And as of today I've lost 20% of my target loss!

I'm a little nervous because tomorrow I have my first day of volunteering at a therapeutic horse farm, and it's going to require some jogging alongside the horses, which I didn't know until the orientation last week. I'm dreading drawing attention to myself with how huffy and puffy I get (and terrified that I might actually have to stop), but I refuse to back out because I've spent WAY too long putting things off "until I lose the weight." So, we'll see

Nightkatt, I'm so happy you're seeing good results despite everything you're going through!

Kandd, congrats on the 170s!!!!

Sarah, congrats on maintaining that huge drop! How's the juice plan going?

Tontus94, congrats on the drop, and glad to have helped on the other issue

running, nice job :)

stlrsgirl, sorry about the plateau :/ Don't worry about it, though! I'm sure it'll pick back up.

To anyone I missed, have a great weekend!

lovemydoggiesx2 04-23-2012 05:47 AM

Hey pretty ladies,

I maintained through the week, which I think is great considering last week. I am 156 and holding steady...haha.

I have decided that this is going to be my last week active in the challenge. As many of you know I am undergoing IVF and I need to focus on remaining healthy for my (fingers crossed) pregnancy and maintaining my weight, not losing.

So I am going to try for a 2-3lb loss this week. I still will come to the group for visits. And keep up with what y´all are doing.

I still do have weight to lose, but having a family is way more important than the last 10lbs!!

I wish you all the best of luck and will chat soon! x

Sarah
