Happy Veteran's day everyone! God bless all those who've served and are still serving our beloved country. ♥

I finally lost a half pound, but that's only since Monday. This cold really took me out of the game by not allowing me to exercise and having to take medication. I really believe that slowed down my losses.

I really have to step it up now with only 13 days until Thanksgiving and another 4.5 pounds to go!

How's everyone else doing?

I am still going. I strayed a bit this weekend. I am still as of today down 4 lbs so far. I'm not sure I'll make 5 more pounds in 10 days. However, I'd like to lose 2-3 more. I'm back on track today. I woke up and did a 20 min dance workout before I fell and rolled my ankle. I am such a klutz!

Oh, I hope your ankle is just a minor injury, Nikki. Feel better soon.

We actually (counting today) have 11 more dieting days until Thanksgiving. lol But it would still be awesome if you we're able to get out of the 190s by then, wouldn't it? Go for it!!

I'm down another half pound this morning, with 4 more to go. It'll be tough, but I'm going to give it my all. I'm planning to do some yardwork later on when the sun goes down and some major cleaning of my home today (so much got put off when I was ill). And then I'm going to step up the exercise next week and hope all this extra calorie burning does the trick. Oh, and I'm really going to cut down on the carbs and concentrate on mostly lean protein, non-starchy veggies and some good fat.

Ugh. I'm not going to make it. The past two weeks have been the worst since I started in September. My eating has been all over the place and the scale is definitely reflecting that. I just want to be out of the teens by December. If that happens I know I can realistically be under 200 by the time my husband gets home.

Everyone else is doing great though! Keep up the good work guys!!

Lambie, you've still lost 6.5 pounds since the start of this challenge and you've still got time to lose a bit more. Keep your eye on the prize when that evil temptation demon rears it's ugly head. I know it can be extremely hard to say no to goodies, especially when your goal seems so far away. But just try to get through one day at a time. They will pass faster than you think, and your husband will be back before you know it. You are so worth it!!!

Thanks, Sandy! I'm glad that you're feeling better. Being sick sucks.

Nikki, I hope your ankle is ok.

Darn! Stayed the same this morning, which puts me at a one pound loss for the week. Oh well...that just means I should get a bigger loss this coming week, right? Come on Weightloss Fairy; I need a weightloss whoosh this week, just in time for turkey day.

Down to 216 today. Lowest I've seen this month. Hopefully this week is a better week.

Sorry I went MIA again. This vacation has been nothing but relaxation. I havnt gone to the gym or anything. Just been lazy. Something I havnt been able to do for 3 years lol. Once I start my new job next week I'll put it all back op. but right now it's about me, and relaxing. No stress. I'm so happy for you all and your losses!! Keep it up ladies!!

Lindsy, it is totally understandable that you would want to just relax during your vacation with all the hours you had put in at Sears. Enjoy yourself before you start your new job! Sometimes the body needs a small break from exercise and diet in order to get the ol' metabolism revved up. Bodybuilders sometimes do this once or twice a year, taking a week or so off, and then starting up again.

Have fun!

Hey ladies! Once again, I haven't been checking in. :/ I am usually on 3fc on my phone, and I keep forgetting where this thread is. I had to search my user name to find it, lol, and I can only do that at work because search doesn't work on my phone. I just read through the last two weeks of comments I missed. Keep up the good work, ladies! Everyone is doing great!

Sandy-To continue our convo from two weeks ago (haha) I cannot wait to see Breaking Dawn!! I think I am going to reread it first. I'm pretty sure that's doable in two days, lol. It's kind of bittersweet. Can't believe it's almost over. I felt this way about Harry Potter too, lol.

My weight today was 212.4. I have been on a rollercoaster the last two weeks. Definitely not sticking to plan, but I am glad to see my # go back down. I know I won't hit my goal, but I would love to be under 210 by next week. I think that's a definitely possibility.

Have a great day, everyone!! xo

Noelle, glad you were able to find us again! I, too, am sad that the Twilight movies are almost over. At least they're splitting up this last one to make it last, right? Only 3 more days!!!

I have every confidence in you that you can be under 210 by Thanksgiving. Keep your eye on that goal!!!

I've decided to start Scarsdale tomorrow in the hopes of reaching goal by Thanksgiving (can you say desperate?). Scarsdale is super strict (around 800 calories, low carb and no fat) but it gets the pounds off quick. I only plan on doing it for a week or so. I think I would go nuts if I did it longer than that. Wish me luck!

Hi all-

My fall was apparently worse then I thought. I am hobbling around now which puts me out of aerobic exercising.

This week I gained .5 At this point I am averaging a pound a week so I guess that is good. I won't however meet my goal for thanksgiving. But, I feel good about getting this far. I'd like to lose 1.5 by next week and I would be happy.

Great job on your losses everyone!
