Take that pound and run with it, Tab!

I'm feeling a little down today, not because I haven't been on plan...I have. I think TOM has a lot to do with it, but also my daugher's friend is over and not leaving until 9:00 pm and I still haven't exercised today (I really need to get that done early...starting Monday for sure). I'm determined to get it in still, but now it'll be late. Oh well!

Anyone going to any Halloween parties this weekend? My sister is throwing one on Halloween day, but there will be lots of high-protein foods to enjoy, so I'm not worried about being tempted by candy or anything.

Have a wonderful weekend all!!!

Auntie Flo just left my place a few days ago, she musta came by to visit you Sandy! Teehee sorry!

I don't really have a ton of friend to invite me to parties. I put them on a back burner with this weight loss journey of mine. Oh well, there will be others. I hope you have fun at your sisters party! Take pictures of everyones costumes!

Ugh. Just binged on teriyaki salmon. It could have been worse but I'm over by 300 calories today.

Lambie- Make sure to drink plenty of water, to flush out all the sodium. Don't stress about it, tomorrow is a new day! We are all human, we all have slips in our plans.

Lambie, I don't think going over by 300 for one day will do much damage. It even might jump start your metabolism.

Lindsy, I know I already said it on the Halloween challenge, but way to go, girl. I'm glad you finally broke that little plateau.

We decided to nix the yard sale after all. My DH was so exhausted from a long work week. That's okay; I wasn't much in the mood either.

I'm down a half pound this morning. Not too shabby with Auntie Flo still hanging around "BIG TIME"! I hope to lose a bit more by Monday.

Hope everyone is having a spook-tacular weekend!

I am here! I WILL do this challenge! I will Succeed! I had some stressful sturff going on in the last challenge and now I am on the Turkey Train. Diana I saw where you are on the C25K plan so got me thinking to get restarted on mine. Weather here has gotten chilly so TM here I come. I really really have to work on stress eating. Why do I turn to food? I know I am doing it when I am doing it. I must work on this. I have to learn to deal daily with life and my goal of where I want to be not what is happening NOW. How do you all manage stress? Eating when you are not hungry? Last week I was angry and frustrated so I went out and started whacking away at some weeds/brush I wanted cleared out. That felt good and I made some progress on the weeds! Okay I will weigh in tomorrow AM. I already ate etc this morning. Erin

Happy Sunday! Weighed in at 120.5 this morning - 0.3 down from last week. Totally surprising, as I went to a dinner party Friday night where there was absolutely no diet-friendly food (chili, hot wings, pasta salad, mac and cheese, nachos, and so no). Not even a veggie tray! Now I just have to be good through Halloween and my hubby's birthday dinner this week.
I'm going to start the 30DS tomorrow while waiting for my Ripped in 30 dvd to arrive. I've read awesome reviews about it, I can't wait to use it!
Good luck to everyone this week!

I had a rough weekend. Not because I went over but I went under only having 1000-1100 calories both Sat and Sun. I was so afraid to blow my eating that I forgot to eat.

I'm a bit nervous about today. I am a teacher and I know 3 parents are bringing in treats for everyone and I am bringing in Halloween cupcakes. I packed my lunch full of chicken, laughing cow and an apple. Also bringing 64 ounces of water and if I get that sweet tooth I am bringing tootsie rolls which I pre- counted and already added to the days calories. I hope I can do well today.

I am seriously considering maybe going 200 over on healthy food just to off set the weekend. I am afraid eating to little will stall my metabolism. I have a history of doing that.

Happy Halloween ..........................stay strong :-)

Happy Halloween everyone! I hope you have a fun and safe one.

Nikkih, I think eating a little over what you ate this weekend is a great idea. That's what my husband and I like to do once in a while when we have a stall. Have a good time at your Halloween party today. And when you get tempted by those goodies, jut remember how you will be in the minority with those who've either lost weight or maintained the day after Halloween. How many people can actually say that, right?

Erin, that's exactly what I do when I'm stressed...yardwork. I'm proud of you for not giving in to what you'd do in the past when you were angry/stressed. It is difficult to fight those urges, but doing so can be so satifying once the moment has passed and you've made it through without binging.

Ladyray, don't you hate when you go to a party when there is not one healthy thing to eat? I went to one like that recently. Thankfully, the one tonight will have healthy foods.

I was happy to see a 1.5-pound loss on the scale this morning (2.5 for the week). On the weekends I (usually) eat only protein, veggies and healthy fats and that helps with a little weight-loss swoosh on Monday.

I've got a busy day planned, so I'm off. Have a great week all!!!

Down to 220 this morning. I haven't seen that number since before my daughter was born 4.5 years ago. After an awful Friday and Saturday I got back on track yesterday. I was actually up to 221.5 yesterday morning. Last week was a real struggle for me emotionally so I'm not surprised that I went so off plan. I miss my husband, the holidays are coming which makes it even worse, my parents have each had new babies in the past two weeks with their new spouses. I'm just feeling sad and lonely lately and it was no wonder I turned to food. But its a new week and almost a new month. I have nine weeks until my husband is supposed to get home and I WILL be in Onederland by then.

Congratulations on your losses, ladies. Keep up the good work!!

Lambie- Congrats on the weight loss! Keep up the hard work. It will all pay off! I'm very proud of you for going back to, and sticking to the plan. You can do it! We are all here for you!!!!

Welcome khumphrey! You will totally make it to 190 by turkey day!!

I just got done with ANOTHER Hit 'n' Run class. I'm tellin ya, every time I feel like I'm gonna die. Fall off the spin bike and die. But I held strong. Kicked some major butt on those punching bags. I killed it. So now, I'm sittin back, drinkin a protein shake and doing laundry.

I'v decided for this challenge also, that I will try and drink a protein shake after every hard workout. I never get enough protein as it is, from being a vegetarian. So it's something I need to work on and DO. Not only does it help me build muscle, that will burn fat more, but it will also promote healthy hair growth! yaya long hair!
