Good job Sandy!! I need to find out my blood type >.< I'v never even had my blood drawn before! ooops! lol

Good job Marie on your loss! 1lb lost is better than 1lb gained!

I have been super busy at work. Labor Day + Retail = The Death of me. To make it worse, my boss only gave me one day off this week. So I'll be working 14 days consecutively. Oh well, all the time on my feet should be good for me, right?!
But the good news is that I'm still around 166! My body fluctuates hourly with my weight.

Went to the gym this morning, got a lot of cardio in and some resistance! woo woo! I'm gonna be stacked! (Yea right!)

Way to go, Kelly! That's a pretty big drop.

Lindsy, I'd say it was about time you changed your ticker and profile stat weight.

Tab, I'm glad to hear that you're not beating yourself up over the extra calories you had. We can't cry over spilt milk, right? As long as we get right back on plan like you're doing right now, no harm, no foul is how I see it.

Marie, congrats on losing that pound! Every single pound lost is important and not to be taken lightly, so I'm very proud of you.

As great as I felt yesterday, today I'm feeling sort of blah. My oldest daughter has been having some recurring health problems with staph infections since last November. We think we have it under control, and it just comes back in a month or two. It can be a bit depressing at times. I try to keep a happy face for my daughter because she gets so scared that something is really wrong with her, but under my smile I get scared, too. Actually, more pissed off than scared. I just want this infection to be gone for good.

Sorry for venting. I promise I don't get this way often. I'm still sticking to plan; although, I was too bummed out to exercise, so I'll have to make up for it on Saturday again. Ugh!

Thanks for listening!

Hi everyone,

I'd like to join this challenge! During my initial weight loss I found challenges super motivating and great for accountability, so I'm hoping that they do the same with these lbs I've acquired over the summer!

I'm hoping to healthily lose 5lbs by Halloween!

SW - 130.2
GW - 125.2

Congrats, Kelly!

And welcome Lauren! I read your story when I was first lurking here last year, and found it really inspirational too.

TheLindsy, sorry to hear about that schedule. With that schedule AND your workouts, you ARE gonna be stacked. Heheheh.

Sandy, I'm sorry to heart about your daughter. I hope she beats that staph infection soon. Worrying about her health must be stressful, so I'm glad you're staying on plan.

Good luck to everyone today!

Welcome Lauren!

I hope that stupid staph infection goes way Sandy. That must be stressful.

I have bad news. Yesterday I fell off the wagon.. Had a super sugary high cal drink from starbucks, then spent $10 on food alone at Taco Bell! I ate it all in 15 min. I had a terrible day at work, have no food at my place, so I decided to hit up my favorite.. Well, now that I feel like crap for those decisions that I made last night. I'm going to move past it, and keep going. I thought I should take responsibility for my stupid action last night. Ugh. And I didn't go to the gym this morning! SLACKING.

I'm bummed.

Thanks for the warm welcome Sandy, tab11, & thelindsy!

Not necessarily happy to be back here, but I am happy to have the support and I'm glad I've decided to nip this in the bud now as opposed to 20 additional lbs down the road!!

TheLindsy - the important thing is that you're moving past it & keep going, just view it as a small blip on your road to healthy living....you may have lost the battle but you can win the war!

Good morning everyone!

Lindsy, great advice from Lauren. An off day once in a great while is okay, as long as you hop back on track the next day. You can do this!

As for me, I'm having a darn hard time getting my workouts in in the morning. It is so hot here lately, and I hate working out later in the day. It makes me feel so drained. Anyone have any suggestions on what could get me motivated to work out earlier?

Hope you are all doing well.

Ok...it's been awhile since I've posted. Time for my update.

Today, is officially the end of my second week of training/eating OP. And it's huge improvement from last week! woo-hoo! Last Monday, I started off strong with my workouts but my diet lacked at about 70% OP. All that extra working out sent my appetite through the roof.

Luckily, this week my appetite settled down and I was able to resist temptations. I decided to hold off on weighing myself till next Monday cause I know the scale can be detrimental to my motivation. Gonna have to squeeze in a couple more sessions of cardio before then. Praying to the scale gods to cut me a break this time. Being pear shaped means my booty holds on to those extra lbs a loooonnnng time before I drop a pound or two. I have to lose almost 10 lbs before I lose an inch off my hips. Here's to hoping this is the last time I lose those same 10 lbs!!!

Overall, I feel like I'm make a strong effort to reach my goals. I haven't pushed myself this hard in a very long time. Glad I joined the challenge.

Hey, ladies! I'd like to join this challenge to help stay motivated. Just skimming the posts here so far inspires me already. Right now, I weigh 168, but I'd love to see myself at 158 or lower by Halloween.

I'd love to be a part of this challenge!!! My husband is in the military, and will be off doing some pre-deployment team training for 3 weeks in October, so it'd be nice to be able to have him see a difference when he gets back home!!! I always find myself being really blue when he's gone, we recently moved to this area and I do not know very many people, so I tend to placate myself with food. Hopefully this challenge will help me do the opposite and get moving instead of just moving my hand from a plate of food to my mouth! I will be setting my goal at 15 pounds by Halloween! Does anyone have any suggestions as far as meeting people in my area? I would LOVE to find a workout buddy or walking buddy!

Welcome Slammer and Jecca!

Jecca, God bless your husband for all he does serving our country and protecting us. I can understand your loneliness while he is away. Maybe you can start a post here looking for a workout buddy in your area. You never know...there could be someone on this board near you in a similar situation.

Slammer, a 10 pound loss is totally doable by Halloween. I wish you much success in reaching it. You are going to look boo-tiful!

dangerous, congratulations on getting your hunger under control and all your workouts in. My diet has always been right on the money, but I sometimes miss a workout or two during the week, so you inspire me to give it my all.

I did get my workout in this morning, but still later than I would have liked. Baby steps I guess.

Hope to hear from the rest of my ghoul-friends!

I have been slacking soo much! Sorry I have been MIA. I feel like I'v been living at sears! Not one day off in so long! Booo

Anyways. I'm back up to 171. I really don't understand. I'm restricting, and exercising. Always moving at work. This sucks. Grrrr.

Sandcar-- thank you! I totally get the workout problem. Getting my workout in can drive me absolutely batty at times !!
Lindsy--Weight fluctuations are the bane of my existence, too! I can sympathize with you there. Maybe your body is stressed from working so often and is reacting by holding on to weight? That's what happens to me, and I hate it I hope you get a day off and see the scale drop soon!
