Lindsy, is that what you normally eat in calories each day? Just a thought, but I think you may be in starvation mode. When I did Medifast last year, only 800 calories a day, I did lose fast at the beginning. But after a couple months, it slowed down to a crawl. The last month I was doing it I think I only lost 2-3 pounds! For the $250 per month I was spending on that program, I was not happy about that. But when I got off of it, I went to counting calories on my own, slowly upping them from the 800 I was eating to 100 calories more every few days (didn't want to shock my body) until I was eating between 1300-1400 each day. Lo and Behold...the weight started to come off again at around 2 pounds a week. I got down to 169 doing that before having to have some minor surgery and fell off plan.
My point is that you may be giving your body too few calories, so it has no choice but to hold on to your weight because it thinks you're starving it...like my body did. What do you think?
Tab, I see you've already knocked off a pound. Good going!!!
I'll be back to check in later. Stay scary!!

Hahah tab- I'm glad my struggles are helping you feel better about yours too. haha I'll call you my scale struggle buddy! haha I love that chart idea! It's fun to see what your weight looks like as a picture, instead of a number.
Sandy- I kinda sprung the 900 calorie diet into play a few days ago. I didn't loose any when I was hiting 1200-1300 so I thought I would kick it down a few and see some numbers change. WRONG. I'm back to 165, aunt flo is gone today so MAYBE tomorrow I will be happy in the morning!
I got in a heck of a work out. I was going to just hop on the treadmill and run run run, but I rememberd what we had talked about, changing it up. So instead, I took a class called "Hit n' Run" HOLY HECK! You spin on the bikes, for 25 min, then go to punching bags for 25 min, then back to the spin bikes and back to bags. Then you hit weights, and abs. Durring the bike part, the instructor was in my face yelling, and crap. I loved it! I was the youngest one there, so I bet she felt like she had more of a young chick to beat up
You know how BOB yells in TBL? THAT's TEXTBOOK what she was doing to me. I was afraid to stop! haha
Anyway, I'm rambling. Sorry! My arms, and legs are jello. I used 800 Calories in that class alone. I was drenched in my own sweat. Sexy!!

Have you ever tried calorie cycling, Lindsy? Like eat 1200 calories one day, 1500 the next, then drop down to 1000, then up to 1600. That works for a lot of people.
Long day here, so I'm hitting the hay now.
Night, night lovelies!

I'm down another pound overnight, which just reinforces the fact that it wasn't real weight, I was just holding onto water. 141.1! So close!!! And once again I've hit "normal" bmi, on the dot!
My recent habit is eating salt heavy on the weekends, which bumps me back up 2-3 pounds. I'll see if I can manage that a little better this weekend.
And, dang, Lindsy! That workout sounds intense. I'm totally proud of you!!!!!!!
Sandy- I kinda hate the fact that I am closing, AGAIN on Halloween. Good thing I didn't buy a costume. What a waste of a holiday. Thanks Sears. I hope you all have a great Halloweeeeen!
Also Sandy, it's funny that you mention cylcing my calories. I was reading about that online and I come back here to check the page, and you said it. Haha Is it a full moon out tonight. Weird.
I'm gonna do some more research into it. I'm kinda afraid to eat more. I don't want to gain. Hmpf this is so difficult. Grrrr.
Anyway, Just got home from work, and the gym. Ran a mile in 12 min. My whole body was sweating.. I found out that they have the Hit 'N' Run class every other day. I think I will go to those more! They were hard as heck, but I sure felt like I got a good workout in!!
I am freaking out, because yes, Sandy, I made it! Weighed in at 139.3 this morning!!!! GOAL!!! I wouldn't be here so fast without all your help and support. Thank you!
Congrats, Lindsy, for busting through that stall!
I'm still joining you all on the Gobble challenge, and will just make my goal maintenance. I am so in disbelief right now.

You know what? Despite losing another half pound today, I was sort of having a sucky day today. I don't know why, buy my family and I were all getting on one another's nerves. Then I come here and see all this great news from both of you and my whole day turned around.
Tab... I knew the weight-loss fairy was going to grant your wish by Halloween. I could not be prouder of you. And I'm so glad to hear that you will still be with us in the Thanksgiving Challenge. Maintenance can still be a challenge, so that is the best goal right there.
Lindsy, woo hoo for you, too!!! I think that calorie cycling is doing the trick. I feel as if you'll be out of the 160s very, very soon. Tab, send that weight-loss fairy over to Lindsy's house stat!
I'm really happy for all of us. Thanks for making my day, ladies! (((HUGS)))

I was happy to see I lost 2.5 pounds this week for a total loss of 17.5 since the start of this challenge! Yay!!!
It has been great getting to know all of you and rooting one another on. I'm happy to see that many of you will be doing the Thanksgiving challenge, too...even Tab, who has reached her goal weight! Hooray for Tab!! In fact, hooray for all of us for sticking it out and doing our best.
See you all at the new challenge!
