I've been slack, but a year and a half ago, I used this thread to help me lose weight for a vacation - which I got down within 5lbs of my goal and felt decent in a bikini, so I'm going to use it again for a vacation in June! My goal is to exercise 1000 minutes in January.
Well I am training with Hal Higdons online running program so I will be running 60 miles in January. My other goal is to do my abs dvd 21 times this month.
Welcome hope for recovery, dcapulet, I am worth it, ShrinkingAmy, and meoc7197!
It's great to "see" so many new and returning faces! Let me know if I messed anything up in my summaries here.
If you want to join us, the more, the merrier! Let's get moving!

Yesterday went well - I got my sessions in. I tried P90X - but the cardio was way too easy in comparison to the JM videos I was doing. I had heard it was very very tough - I think maybe it was only the weight sessions that are killer. I'm going to try one today and see how that works. If not, I'm going back to letting Jillian kick my butt!
I have a very good routine working, so I'm feeling established, and just want to log what I do. Bare minimum is something 4 days a week (yoga/weights/walk/trampoline or bike)
1. 30 treadmill, squats/legs
2. 30 Trampoline work--out! |arms| so fun!!

Did my first run and upper body workout today! Yay!!! I also realized that I didn't specify distance. So, each of my runs has to be at least a mile. I'm not going to try and get away with running half a block. Hope everyone else is doing well!
My goal will be a minimum of an hour of cardio daily and an optional additional 40 minutes of toning.
1. Three hours of dancing.
2. Zumba: 40 min; Core Rhythms 20 min
3. Same as for day 2 and 30 min abs tape
4. 40 min Zumba, 20 Core Rhythms, toning: 20 min abs and 20 min arm tapes
5. Leslie Sansone 5 Mile Fat Burning Walk

I've set myself a goal for 2011 in general -- 2011 kilometers, so I guess my goal for January would be 1/12th of that, or 168 km. It's the 3rd, and I'm already 11 km down the road.

I didn't get to start my run today, however I did walk yesterday. I woke up sick unfortunately. Oh wells. Hopefully I'll feel better tomorrow or take the day quil in time to get my butt out of bed!
