Oh boy, I need this challenge ... I get very lazy about getting exercise. I hate it, so it's usually the first thing I let go. Maybe I'll try to get in at the minimum a 30 minute walk every day, even if I have to walk in circles around the house. LOL!

I was thinking about the mini-challenge, trying to figure out what to work on, since I've been doing really well all this week (if we ignore the Ben & Jerry's I had last night - although I was still within my calorie limits).

Then I found myself staring at my water bottle, thinking maybe I'd go get some coffee instead. Hahaha... I think I found my mini-challenge goal!

I have an awesome 1L water bottle at work, so my goal for now is just to drink at least 1 full bottle of water each day. I'll fill it up in the morning, and it will be gone before I leave. If I want coffee or crystal light or a diet Mt. Dew from the vending machine, it will have to be IN ADDITION TO my water. I'd really like to drink more like 1.5L a day, since I know I don't drink much water at home, but I'll be satisfied with 1L for now.

I've been running 3 days a week in the summer heat, and this should help keep me hydrated. Also, I suspect it will make me a little less tempted to snack during the day. And the bathroom is on the other side of the building so I'll get some extra walking in!

I am giving up all kinds of snack crackers. I got back to eating them during the multiple car trips I have been on the past two months. They don't really mean that much to me and I know if I can just get through a week without them, I won't crave them anymore. Great challenge Sparkle.

Great challenge, Sprkle! My habit is worse than yours, I start eating a couple of hours after dinner and continue until I go to bed. My tweak challenge will be to stop eating by 10:45 p.m. (I go to bed very late).

Just checking in. I had no trouble avoiding the crackers yesterday so hopefully today will go as well. I have decided to add chips to my challenge as well since I don't need those either and again I just need a week to get over them and I should be fine. Now I have a much bigger problem with sweets but I will leave that for another challenge!

Good afternoon everyone. I've been doing good on my challenge, hope everyone is having a good time and staying on plan.

I'm up a little today, but hoping that next week will be better.

Alright i know that i have not really been around to much except to poke my head in and say hi. The last few days i took off to really take time and reflect on this mini challange and see where i need the work. In doing this i found 2 areas the could use improvement. The first is the exercising more the excuse that i do not have time and the other is drinking more water. Upon futher examanition of what has worked in the past 2 more things where discovered. 1) being that when i just exercised as soon as i got home from work and not sat down not only did i avoid the i am too tired/ do not have time/ to late to do it now syndrom but i also had more energy for the rest of the evening and i got other things i have been meaning to do around the house. As for the water drinking I have noticed that when i exercise more i tended to drink more water during the day. So for me the 2 go hand in hand. With that said starting tomorrow i am going to exercise as soon as i get home from work everyday and see what happens from there. ~ thankyou sprkle for this little challange.

Blue Serenity-Thanks for encouragement. Atta Girl to you also!

I am doing very well on the challenge but I am afraid it is not making a whole lot of difference since I am still managing to overeat quite a bit. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.

girls!

How's everyone doing? Sorry I haven't been around. I...just have nothing to say. Nothing has been going on around here. Just playing the waiting game right now. I found an apartment and I'm waiting to see if I got approved. I applied for four positions and waiting to see if I got one of those. I feel really good about two of them, my mother worked in the department and I'm know most of the people so....maybe that will work in my favor. I need sometimes, really bad and SOON! I took several days off work and it has been marvelous! But I have to go back Wednesday. Oh, I dread it.

My eating has gotten better, little by little, day by day. Surprisingly, my weight is going down, a little at a time but still going in the right direction.

I went to see Harry Potter with Nessa on Wednesday. We went to the 12:30 am screening since the midnight and 12:15 were sold out. I can't say I'm a fan of HP, I've never had an interest to read the books or see the movies but Vanessa is a huge fan and she had been talking about the new movie for months. There were alot of people of course so I was trying not to have a panic attack and didn't, thank god. I liked the movie. Thought Harry/Ginny were cute and should have been more of them in the movie. The ending threw me off but again, I haven't read the books.

Sunshine's wedding was yesterday. Nikki said it was great, just really hot. She ran the camera and got close ups of John and Kittie bawling. Perfect blackmail.

Oh and Friday, after viewing the apartment, my friend and I came across this yard sale and I brough a cool mini futon for $25! The apartment is small and this futon will fit perfectly by the wall.

Hi everyone...

I haven't been posting because I haven't had much to say.... eat, workout, life... I have slacked a little on exercise, so this week the goal is to be back a 5 days a week, with the weekned being a rest time. 300 min of exercise this week!

And I weighed in... 259 So i'm down 2.
