So a weekend challenge? Hmmm... How about we keep points for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday?

Each day you can get:
3 points- eating on plan (whatever your plan is)
Up to 2 points - 1 point for each 30 mins of exercise you do daily
2 points - for drinking your allotted water

If anyone can think of anything else to add let me know. Currently this weekend you can get 21 points!! The one with the highest points will get ultimate weekend warrior bragging rights!

OOOOOO, I want to be an Ultimate Weekend Warrior. I'm in. My eating plan is to stay under 2000 calories per day but I have no idea how much water I should drink so I will say 32 oz. And of course I will go for the 60 minutes per day of exercise although I sometimes skip Fridays. Not this Friday!

Hopefully I will have a loss on Sunday since I haven't had a loss to post yet this challenge!

I'm definitely up for the weekend challenge! I'll have to be creative on the Sunday exercise since I won't be home, maybe walking in the mall? That's always fun!
I try to shoot for 1600-1800 cals a day, usually closer to 1800. I'm usually good at getting at least 64oz water in.

Thanks sprkle, this is a great idea!

Hi everyone!

Quick check in for me. I was pleasantly surprised to see the scale was kind to me this morning. I don't know how (maybe the 3 or 4 days of exercise I managed to get in this week paid off, even with lousy eating! lol) Got to run!

Have a great one!

PS ... Congratulations to sprkle on the job and Shari on the apartment! Woo Hoo!

I was down .4, so I'm officially down 10lbs! I've so been looking forward to this milestone.
Hoping to get my 7 weekend points today, its going well so far.

Yikes, I already messed up today but I am going to try to salvage it. I was visiting my daughter at band camp and my husband and I had lunch at a small town southern cooking buffet!!!!!! The challenge did not even cross my mind. It was really, really good but a lot of calories. I just had to try everything. I mean I was only taking maybe 2 tablespoons of stuff but it was a lot of food. Have you ever heard of pineapple casserole? Seriously! It was good. On the way home, we were invited to join some friends for dinner. Sigh. Okay, I am going to try to squeeze in an hour of exercise at the gym. Then, I will try to eat well at dinner but even with my rather generous calorie limit, it is doubtful I will stay under today. Plus I have no idea how much many calories I had at lunch. Thank goodness there is some limit to what I can fit in my tummy at one meal!

Hey girls - just popping in again. I tend to do that now and again.

I'm doing ok - had to go into the hospital on Tuesday w/' preterm contractions that are caused by a bacterial infection. I'm fine, Landan's fine - I'm on meds for the contractions and the infection. I'm holding out a few more weeks yet! My induction is still scheduled for the 31st of Aug - if I make it that long, but I'd like to at least make it to 35/36 weeks.

The contractions, although regular and intense aren't actually doing any "work" they're just annoying the he!! out of me! As long as Landan's born safe and healthy I'll put up with whatever. It's getting SO CLOSE!!!

But in the mean time I'm on modified bed rest. No working out AT ALL, no "special time" w/ the hubby for the next week at least , no driving more then 15 minutes or standing/walking in stores for more then 20 mins. let me tell you I'm BORED OUT OF MY MIND!!!!! I'm hoping that it'll get better by Wednesday when I go and see my Dr. again. But know that I'm thinking of all of you - and looking forward to joining back in come October!.

girls!

1 week till moving day. Things are slowly starting to get chaotic. I'm probably not going to get a bed till next payday and I know I will not have cable/internet for a while so I'll have to get into the library routine again. I need to anyway, there are some vamp books I want to check out. I don't have to get a Uhaul since I have really sweet neighbors who offered to help me move. So happy since I REALLY do not have the money for a Uhaul or anything else basically. The only thing I'm going to 'splurge' on is a fan because I can't sleep without one. I only have like $100 so the rest is going to be spent on food. This just cements my thoughts that staying with the VA in that department is doing nothing for me. I don't even make enough money to get essentials. My friend's got a lead on a job so I'm applying next week. I just really hate to resign my position and then they call me about another position in the hospital. Do yall realize how much paperwork that is?! It's the government! But I'm tired of holding on and going nowhere. And Fields is getting on my last damn nerve. The Im-about-to-throw-bleach-in-your-face-if-you-dont-step-off nerve. Not good.

Remember to PM your WIs to me by Sunday night!

Hi everyone, I ended up with 6 pts from yesterday... not a perfect score, but I didn't get all my exercise in. Oh well.

Shari- I'm glad things are still moving along for you. Looks like you've got everything worked out. I hope your job situation works out better.

Eny- Glad everything was alright with you and baby boy. It sucks that you're bored, but the laying around part is almost over, and then you'll have that bundle of joy to keep you hopping.

Congrats to Ruth and Blue on your losses I'm waiting til tomorrow to find out if I've lost or not. (I'm thinking probably not, but we'll see).

hey everyone! So...I have been MIA alot lately. Sorry! Since I have started the new job I'm all screwed up for some reason. I will adjust though.

Eny - I'm glad everything is going well with you and the baby. I can't believe you are so close to due date. I swear it seems like yesterday you were taking tests that were negative and hoping they were positive and upset cause it wasn't happening....and he is almost here!!!! Is Joe starting to get really excited??? And Hunter too???

Well.....my hubby and I booked a cruise in June for a vacation/graduation present so I have to get on track. I have about 10 months...and I was hoping to lose about 10 pounds a month...does 10 pounds a month sound realistic?

At first you COULD possibly lose that much but it will slow down. 2 lbs a week is doable and healthy. With consistency and committment....I KNOW you can do it!!!

I would say probably not. At first you can probably hit 10 lbs a month. But later on you'll probably get 6-8 lbs a month if you're staying on plan. That would still be a lot of weight off and you'd feel a lot more comfortable on vacation.

Weighing in at 209 this week, moving in the right direction!
