Today went ok for me. I have physical therapy every monday and wednesday, so this morning I was off to PT. After a bit of work on my ankle, my physical therapist said that we might try some jogging on Monday. :D I don't expect to actually be able to jog, but at least we are working towards it. I would really like to be able to run a 5k in October. I hope my ankle agrees with that time schedule.

That is a lot of miles! :carrot::carrot: I took a little catnap around 6:30, that is unusual me. I am going to try and get to bed early tonight too to be rested for our new day. Sleep well girls, hope you all have a good night, catch you tomorrow. |
Jacqui:  Please do whatever is necessary for you to feel better.
June 10: 2 walks, 30 minute workout (I decided my neighbors were paranoid and I'm walking again. The hills in this neighborhood are incredible for my butt and my arms, since I have to push not only the stroller while we're going up, but also my son on his bike.) |
Pas, when I had read your post about the cougar....I did a bit of a double take and looked to see where your at. I know they have wild cats in scotland, even panthers. Cali has there share of trouble too with wild cats. Was it on the news by any chance? Please becareful. I don't blame you at all for being cautious, it's best to err on the side of caution.

I got to the gym! I bumped up my walk to 1.25 miles and got in some weights, too. Then after I got home, DH and I went to Costco to do some shopping. I've got a killer headache now, and I'm SOOO tired. I'm only working part of the day tomorrow, so I think I'm going to get in most of the cleaning then. We'll see, I guess.

Jacque ~ My Fitness Coach is a stand alone title. It doesn't use the balance board so that isn't a requirement. It can integrate your already owned equipment (step bench, weights, exercise ball) into your workouts which will vary per routine. You do some of the same moves, but there is never a routine that is exactly the same twice. You get a great, high impact cardio workout and then you have the option to choose from different focus areas that can be integrated in to your longterm goal. Whether that be Yoga, upper/lower or core, cardio and I believe there is something else as well. Anywho, I enjoy it. If your not happy with the intensity the first go around, she will ask you how you feel, depending on how you answer she will either increase, maintain or decrease the intensity of your workouts. I'd definitely recommend it! You already do so much, however, this might be a good way to just mix up your routine a little bit or something to do when you can't get out of the house to exercise or it's raining..ya know? I actually have a dazzle, so if you or anyone else would like to see real time footage of the game itself, I'd be more than willing to do that. :)
