glutio 06-07-2009 07:50 PM

Haven't walked yet today, but I did 30 minutes of Wii Fit and spent two hours moving furniture around, getting stuff out of the shed and loaded up to go to Goodwill. A lot of it was stuff of DH's before he moved in here, most of which was acquired from friends or Goodwill 10 years ago. He wanted to hang on to all of it, but since we're trying to move states in the next year, it was time for it all to go! It was sooooo hot!!!

I'm waiting to see how I feel later when it cools off before I say I will or won't walk around the neighborhood. My thighs still haven't recovered from Active, either, but I really do plan on taking another shot at it.

I'm really excited about tomorrow's "official" weigh-in at Weight Watchers tomorrow, though.

So far everyday I've road my exercise bike for 2 or more hours but I haven't got in my strength and 30 extra minute exercise in except for 2 days. So I really need to work on those things!

lookingtobehealthy 06-07-2009 11:46 PM

So day 7 I did half of my exercises and went to a bar-b-que.
I was good, stuck to veggies with no dip, and had lots of salads and veggie burger with no bun.
My only bad was the desert which consisted of this dreamy custard/flaky pastry embeded in a light frosting with stawberries on top... (sorry it was worth it) and 2 lovely bisquits....
Today we celebrated friends that adopted a child from China... Good times.
Challenge is back on tomorrow, good luck ladies...

glutio 06-07-2009 11:49 PM

I did day 2 of Wii Active. More freaking lunges!! OWWWWWW!! I wish I knew how long the track was. If I did, I'd totally count it on my miles for the week!!

I'm ending this week at 3.85 miles. It's almost 11p, and I need to get to bed soon! I think I'm going to try to do an extra .25 on the treadmill this week some days to make up for the mile I'm short.

Still, I know I did A LOT this week, especially compared to my previously sedentary lifestyle! For once, I'm REALLY REALLY excited for weigh in tomorrow!!

June 7 - Probably pilates and/or walk later

I did end up doing about a 30 minute walk with intervals of running. Trying to prepare for The Mile on July 15th. I have NEVER entered a race of any kind before so I am excited. WE are doing it as a team from boot camp...and only entering the "fun" portion of the walk/run. We will be timed but there are no prizes for that group.

Jacqui_D Good luck with YOUR yard sale. Start now getting stuff ready!! I usually start about 6 weeks before hand....doing a room/closet/drawer...whatever every day. Then a day or 2 before I start organizing everything...which usually is piled high in boxes in my garage!!! You can do it!!! It is such a great feeling when the junk is gone and the money is in your hand!!!!

iDream 06-08-2009 06:53 AM

Good morning ladies!

All this yard sale talke is starting to get to me...I might just have to suck it up and start organizing and pricing all the stuff I've put aside for 'when we have a yard sale' which never seems to happen. ;)

June 1st ~ Upper Body ST'ing
June 2nd ~ HIIT
June 3rd ~ Lower Body ST'ing, 8 Min Abs
June 4th ~ HIIT
June 5th ~ Upper Body ST'ing
June 6th ~ HIIT
June 7th ~ Scheduled Day Off
End of Week One

June 8th ~ HIIT (day one of week 2)

Had to get out and do my HIIT this morning instead of tomorrow because I have a dr's appt pretty early and didn't want to wake up at 5:00 to get my HIIT in. So, I'll just switch this week up a little and do my HIIT MWF and my ST'ing T,TH,S. One nice thing about exercising at home--you can tweek your exercise routine and not have to worry about missing a class or anything. :D

You ladies have a great day! Let's start week 2 just as strong--if not stronger--than we did week one!!! Woo hoo!!! :carrot:
