Jacque ~ It was a 60 minute session but for youtube, the videos can only be a maximum of 10 minutes long. So I tried to edit it to where I could show a variety of the exercises.

icandoallthings6613 ~:^::^::^: thanks! I don't think you are in the June challenge for weightloss, and that's usually where I do personals. We would love to see ya over there as well. :) I keep forgetting to do them here, because so many of us are in both. ;) At any rate, you are doing a wonderful job with your commitment and providing such a positive example to others as well. So :bravo:

Tummygirl ~ Hey I thought about taking some footage of the Active as well so you guys could see how to do the grocery cart/lawn mower/ lasso  I might do that as well.

I don't know if I could do that for an hour straight...but you did GREAT burning that many calories and doing it for that long.

Delphi 06-14-2009 09:28 AM

Thanks Jacque!'s! I really do enjoy it. Actually, I'm burning over 500 calories per session according to the GoWearFit, so I know I'm getting a great workout. The intensity is up really high on my cardio sessions though, but I'm a junkie to. I need to sweat, I need to feel like when I work out, that I WORKED OUT. Ya know? This for now, does it for me. Now how long it will, that remains to be seen. But for now, it will do! :)

Worked out today at the gym. 45 minutes on the treadmill at a 3.7 or 3.8 speed and did 30 minutes lifting weights. Mostly upper weights. Going to try to get in two hours tomorrow. One hour in a weights class and then another hour later in the day in a Power Pilates Class.

Thanks, Delphi...I don't do the weight loss thread mainly because I don't weigh myself very often and my focus has started to be a lot more about fitness than shedding pounds (though my current plateau may make me change my mind about that). It's easier for me to focus entirely on exercise...I've got a limited attention span ; )

Today, the sun was out again (hoorah!) and I played some tennis and went for a 3.5 mile walk. So 32 down, 8 to go. Looks like I'll make my goal after all!!

Great work ladies! Keep pushing yourselves!

Made it through day one of week 3 HIIT--it was easier than I thought it would be--that is, I didn't die or anything. Had to do my workout on the treadmill though (hubby woke me up late), so I'm guessing that might have something to do with it feeling easier than it should. I dunno, we'll see Wednesday when I hit the pavement outside (if it's not raining!). I do know that my last jogging period I was going at 6.1!! That's the fastest I've ever gone on that thing! :cheer:
