Hey all--well I hadn't checked in since 8/04 b/c I hadn't weighed myself--got kinda discouraged there as for a couple of days kept going up. Seems like it WAS my TOM, thank god, and now back down to 201.6. Yaay!!!
And my eating is now back OP and I know I'll eventually be able to break this glass ceiling (really floor) of the 200's soon! Trying the couch to 5K as well, trying to push for longer than 6 minutes continuous running at a time. Hub out of town tomorrow and Friday, so I can eat any which way I want and exercise 2 or more hours a day if I want. Yaay!! |

modcat44-I know how ya feel about breaking the 200's...i'm in the same boat...but we can do it if we go all in and work hard!!! I've been sick the past couple of days and it's been hard working out but I haven't gained any pounds due to that...so no setbacks. I clean my house today which took about 2 hours to complete and I still have 45 minutes of working out to do today. Feeling a bit better today so I may just go for a run tomorrow...my husband has the next 4 days off work so he can watch the baby for me!! How's everyone else doing?? |

Yeah, it kinda is a mental thing. When I am so close to a major "milestone" and then it seems like my body just won't do it! I need to think of it as just another pound or two, not like I'm entering a whole new realm which I'm not used to. I guess I need to feel like that's where I deserve to be, that's where I should be, not that my body is resisting being there b/c it doesn't feel normal....... |
I've had a rough couple of days... ate like CRAP - but I'm doing better now. I'm still slacking on the working out though!

Well so far I've lost 2 lbs. I guess that's okay. I hope you guys don't mind that I mentioned 3fc and the challenge that I'm doing on two Youtube videos that I have done. I've actually set up a Weight Loss Challenge Group for anyone on any kind of weight loss challenge on Youtube and it's at:

Ive been sticking on plan even though I havn't been home. Its always been a big challenge for me to stay on plan when i'm outside of my element. I did it! Not one cheat! I'm proud of me :)

Fauxtini, way to go!! How did you do it? I am going away on a "retreat" at the end of August, and I am terrified. I will have no control over food, or my schedule... because I am new, I am keeping tight control over all things at the moment. I fear that if I let go even a bit, I will slide right back into the abyss. (way melodramatic, I know:lol:).

Day 6 has come to an end.. I just did 500 crunches and 45 min TaeBo.. I'm so tired. Now I'm gonna take a shower and then eat a fruitsalad :).. Love it! This morning the scale showed 135! Let's see if it stays there, it might be water loss, I was pretty dehydrated yesterday.. only 7 pounds left to my goal!! Hopefully I'll be there by the end of the September Bootcamp! Well, you know the saying misery loves company.... I can relate to many of the recent posts.... I don't know if it because of TOM or what, but I feel like a cookie monster these past few days.... I am having trouble controling what I eat. Let's not talk about exersice.... I feel I am not really ready for couch to 5K challenge.... :( I think I will bow out gracefully from that. I need to focus on my food and really get a schedule going........
Today is another day and it happens that I start my WW journal and flexies over again.... :cool: Heres to a better on plan day tomorrow! *Cheers* |
Tracy - I'm with you. I need to desperately refocus! My 30 Day Shred DVD came yesterday - so I'm going to start that tonight. I've just been so out of wack the last few weeks! I've put #1.4 back on :( I need to stop this and get my poop in a group!

Today's my Official Weigh-in Day so I will be updating my blog!:carrot:
It's day 7 of the August 2008 Bootcamp Challenge and my weight in the wee hours of the morn was :carrot: 147.5 :carrot: So I only went up a little. It's okay. I went down in the long run. I'm still at 135 this morning,, means I'm really there :)! Today I'll do 30 Day Shred and then jump rope for 25 minutes. It's since I started to jump rope last week that I started to lose again, was stuck at 137-138 for almost one month. I'm really hoping to see 134 by the end of this week, (the last weigh in for The Biggest Loser Challenge!).. My eating has gone better those last days, not so many cookies.. Checking in again... aqua aerobics was cancelled last night, got to the pool and it had been cancelled. I was grouchy after that as I had been looking forward to it all day, was also grouchy because they organisers never let us know!! We are only a small group of members it wouldnt have been hard...
anyway going to the gym tonight for an hour. Have the day off tomorrow, so another gym session tomorrow morning and swimming on sunday again... so lets hope i see a loss on the scales monday!! Fingers crossed!! |
I did my regular workout last night, plus 100 squats. My legs are kind of sore. Not as sore as i thought they would be, but sore enough. I was kind of embarrassed at first to do the squats at the gym (it was kind of busy) but then i just said whatever and did the squats. It helped that i was watching a movie during my workout. it always helps to be watching something to pass the time quickly. The distraction helps the pain and burn.

So checking in and the scale said 190 this morning. EEK. Also no body fat lost this week. Still doing my daily 60 minutes last night was more. I am actually starting to like the working out daily! :)
