1. SHOOT AND SCORE! My goal is to lose 8% Body Fat this month! YAY!!

2. WORK! COVER GIRL!!! Exercise: Workout everyday for the whole month! So that would be 1800 Minutes this month.

3. COME ON IN THE WATER'S FINE! I will definitely post 3X a week if not more! lol

4. YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW The only way out is through. :) I got that from someone on a dream board post in the 20 Something's

5. TODAY IS TOMORROW'S YESTERDAY! I'm going to journal everything starting today! Maybe I am eating unnecessary calories.

6. WITHOUT ENOUGH SLEEP WE ALL BECOME TALL TWO-YEAR-OLDS! I sleep at least 8 hours most of the time.

7. BALANCE, PEACE AND JOY ARE THE FRUIT OF A SUCCESSFUL LIFE! I am going to make sure to make a budget and stick with it. Also find recipes for foods I love, but don't know how to make.

Geez...I went to sleep last night at 9:30pm (early for me) and still didn't want to get up this morning at 7:30am! What gives...why was I soooo sleepy! I was going to do my work out DVD's but I just felt so tired! I ended up mowing the front yard which really woke me up and then I came in and did both my work out DVD's I had scheduled for today! I feel great right now, but it just took me so long to wake up????!!!

I'm down 1 of my 11 lbs! So, only 10 to go!

Naytally - that is a great mantra!!! and you can apply it to all aspects of life! that should be the August 2008 bootcamp mantra for everyone...LOL

Rose bud~ your username makes me smile. One of my co-workers calls me her rosebud. I need to up my water intake too. It's a hard one for me and yet there are so many people I know who drink water like a fish.

fauxtini~ I haven't tried meditation. Does it really help you?

Sephy~ :welcome2: So you're going to exercise every single day. Everyday huh? Well I triple dog dare you to get it done. That's a tough one. I exercise pretty faithfully but just once in a while I let life get in the way and will double up the next day or something. Good luck!

day two is here... i keep reminding myself that i have to post, not just read how things are going for everyone else!

i worked out last night... ate like crap though... i have all of next week planned out, but somehow never gave the weekend any thought.

i'm kind of in a crappy place today... one of my friends is getting married (in just a few hours) and i really don't want to go. i wasn't supposed to be going alone and i think that's affecting the way i feel about it.

2. WORK! COVER GIRL!!! Exercise: I will walk 2 miles on the treadmill every day. (I surf the web while I walk, so I don't get bored)

3. COME ON IN THE WATER'S FINE! I will try... but my lurking habits are hard to break. I am shy (but, strangely, only on the internet!)

4. YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW "It's not a struggle if you don't fight it"

5. TODAY IS TOMORROW'S YESTERDAY! I usually plan in the mornings, but I can switch that to the night before

6. WITHOUT ENOUGH SLEEP WE ALL BECOME TALL TWO-YEAR-OLDS! No worries here!

dancing - :hug: embrace the joy of your friend, and remember - you should make an appearance, but you don't have to stay all night! Eat mindfully... and DANCE! (it's a great stress reliever & exercise! :D)

Hello everyone!
Day two has come to an end. I just did 30 min 30 Day Shred, and then jumped rope for 25 minutes !! It was really sweaty, I'm in Dominican Republic right now, in a house without AC, so it's hot :)
My eating went OK, did eat a cake for the coffee after dinner.. That's my hardest thing with my diet,, all those lovely chocolate cakes.. Candies, Potatoes Chips, Soda, Ice Cream,, all those stuff never seduces me,, but cookies do.. Will have to work on that one..
No weigh loss so far.. But It feels like I'm getting thinner anyway.. Getting some muscles :)

Theresa - cake sounds yummy! I plan on having some this week at my daughter's first birthday party

I worked my butt off today! I know I'm gonna post a gain tomorrow though cause TOM reared its ugly head today! I feel the gain coming on!

I'm going to weigh in the morning and then I'm going to put away the scales....in a place very inconvenient to get...or tell my hubby to hide them....I really want to do this...I want to not care about the number on the scale! I know that it is going to go down if I keep doing what I'm doing....but when I get on the scale everyday it just unmotivates me...so I screw up! I'm thinking if I quit worring about the scale and focus on getting stronger and healthier I will be happier and stick with this!

1. SHOOT AND SCORE!I can't make a signature yet (haven't been here long enough) but as soon as I can I will. My goal is to get to 93kg by the end of August. That's 3kg (6.6lb) in 4 1/2 weeks. Day 3 update: current weight is 94.9. That's 1.1 kg in 3 days! I may have to reassess my goal. On second thoughts I'll leave it as is. This way I'm sure to get there!

2. WORK! COVER GIRL!!! I plan to do 45 min of exercise 4 times a week. Day 3 update: 47 minutes on the 1st, 60 minutes today (3rd)

3. COME ON IN THE WATER'S FINE!Posting 3 times a week? No problem! Day 3 update: This is the second post this week.

4. YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW My monthly mantra - hmmmm. "Quitting is NOT an option. " There you go. Day 3 update: I haven't quit! :)

5. TODAY IS TOMORROW'S YESTERDAY! I will schedule my exercise and eating before I go to bed at night. Day 3 update: not too bad on this one, I'm planning in my head but I need to write things down. Working on it.

6. WITHOUT ENOUGH SLEEP WE ALL BECOME TALL TWO-YEAR-OLDS! This is my biggest challenge. I work a mix of days and nights. This week only one night (thank goodness) and I have a week off from the 11th to 17th. I'm going to aim for 6.5 hours sleep in each 24 hours. They may not necessarily be continuous, but that's as good as it gets for me. Day 3 update: achieved. Mind you, I'm in the middle of 8 days off, and my next night duty isn't until next Saturday. That will be the true test.

7. BALANCE, PEACE AND JOY ARE THE FRUIT OF A SUCCESSFUL LIFE! Funnily enough I just started working on a new budget/spending plan (incorporating savings) last night! So this is my "balance" goal for August - to get my spending under control. My savings account will be $500 higher by the end of August. Day 3 update: Nothing other than essentials spent for the last 3 days. Not even a cup of coffee! Plus I made some extra money - $30 for two of the tablecloths I made for our wedding. A friend is starting a stall at a craft market and wanted them, and refused to let me give them to her. Hey, better in my pocket!
