1. SHOOT AND SCORE! *lose 6 LB *no fast food! 2. WORK! COVER GIRL!!! * Start Couch2 5K ASAP- I twisted my ankle pretty bad about a week ago, so I'll give the treadmill a try tomorrow, but if the ankle starts hurting I may have to wait on this one. 3. COME ON IN THE WATER'S FINE! I <3 forums, so I will try to keep up w this one! 4. Stealing my mantra from someone else's sig- Don't give up what you want most for what you want now 5. TODAY IS TOMORROW'S YESTERDAY! No fast food means more homecooking- so I needs must plan! 6. WITHOUT ENOUGH SLEEP WE ALL BECOME TALL TWO-YEAR-OLDS! School starts in 3 weeks, so this may get tricky, until then I'm on summer break and sleeping like it too 7. BALANCE, PEACE AND JOY ARE THE FRUIT OF A SUCCESSFUL LIFE! Again, once school starts again balance and peace may fly out the window, but I'll try to focus on remaining calm and reminding myself that I actually wanted a ph.d... |
Welcome, tracy! I find that staying really involved on this message board really is helping me lose weight AND keep it off! I'm almost back to my lowest now too and i plan to keep zooming down the line. All of the challenges on here make things so much more worth while. hehe Good luck and good to meet you!!

Thanks for the warm welcome!!:hug: I see you have sign up for the couch to 5K challenge as well... I have downloaded the podcasts and pretty excited. I would like to be able to run with my boyfriend who runs daily for exersice. :) :D Well, it's back to work for me tomorrow and back to getting serious about taking care of myself which totally helps with weight loss. I had a spa day on Saturday as a reward for working so hard this summer semester.... I was a bit overloaded taking an intensive anatomy course, and online med terminology course and working fulltime as well as finding time for my chihuahua and my boyfriend and to study.... Anyway a lot got pushed to the side like cooking and doing the dishes. My spa day was awesome... I had an hour massage, a facial, and a pedicure. :) I think my reward when I hit my 10% for WW will be an hour message. That will be motivating!! Are you doing anything interesting this Sunday evening?? I am home alone and a bit bored.... I have been with my BF all weekend so I am lonely. :( |
Tracy: My goal is to be able to run with my fiance too! He is in the military and runs all the time so I have some work to do. I'm in canada waiting for the paperwork to allow me to come to the US to marry him.. so i'm lonely too. I spent ALOT of time on here. At least it's a helpful addiction! He's going to iraq soon and I hope to be able to run with him when he's back :)

It's exciting to see so many couch to 5Kers. I'm on week 7 day 3 and I can't believe that I can actually run for 25 minutes at a time now. Good luck to all of you!

I can't believe it! It's day 3 and I'm Two Pounds Down!!!!! Yes, I finally kicked that plateau's butt by exercising an hour yesterday (I normally only exercise 30 mins) and I'm down from 149.0 to 147.0 lbs.

Day 3 done! I just did 30DayShred Level 2 and jumped rope for 25 minutes.. it's really hard, but I love it :). My eating went a lot better today, an old friend come by and brought me fried chicken and pommes frites.. And I gave them away when he went, didn't even try them :).. See you all tomorrow! |

Good morning girls! so far today is uneventful. I have a Dr.'s appt. this afternoon. I'm happy that I'm down from the last time I was there! :D My officialy Monday weigh in is #186. I'm good with that - it's a #1.4 down from last week... which means I'm right on target for my first mid-size goal for Christmas. :santa: I'm going to have to work hard to hit my August goal though! I know what I need to do - now I just have to do it!

You can count on me, will check in most mornings :) 4. YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW, I Have The Power 5. TODAY IS TOMORROW'S YESTERDAY! I am not so good in this department by will try my best to start planning ahead. 6. WITHOUT ENOUGH SLEEP WE ALL BECOME TALL TWO-YEAR-OLDS! I usually get around 8hrs that are broken up a bit by my 14mth old. 7. BALANCE, PEACE AND JOY ARE THE FRUIT OF A SUCCESSFUL LIFE! This months goal to become more organized, I am usually flying around by the sit of my pants and this leaves me far from feeling peaceful. Okay so that is me, hope that covers it all :) Looking forward to spending this month with you all!!! |

Same weight as last Monday, which is ok with me - Im not going to beat myself up about it this is a new week, and I am making it count! I know why I didnt lose last week its because I didnt do as much exercise as I should have. So this week, plenty of exercise and eating right!!

Well I am up from my low on Thursday (201.4) but still down from when I joined this board in all seriousness 9 days ago. I was 205, now 202.8.
I have exercised everyday, and kept my food journal, but staying to my planned diet I guess is the problem. Weekends are always tough--Friday through Sunday I'm off as well as hub and we kinda go with the flow. I need to plan our weekends better! I'll get back on track now for the work week--generally do quite well Monday thru Thursday. |
My first check in this month...
I started a new program to go along with the bootcamp. And actually its by this military guy so it goes perfect with the whole bootcamp thing. Saturday, i had to do 5 reps/10 each of pushups/crunches and a shoulder workout...my shoulders and belly are a little sore. The guy kind of eases you into the program so yesterday was pretty easy, all i did was stretch plus 30 min each of walking and the bike. But I've been sick and have not been able to go to sleep until past 2 am! i hate summer colds!!!! My sister said that i need to redo my calorie intake. I honestly dont have the patience to count calories, but she is sure that the reason my weightloss is slow is because im eating over allowed calorie intake. Sooo, i will be starting a food journal this week and she will figure out my calories and see where that leads us. Okay....good luck this week everyone!! |
