Just dropping in for an update. I have been mostly sticking to plan. I am running a pound or so higher on the scale. I've started doing some strength training with the hubs and am pretty sore so I am thinking that is probably what's up. Still focusing on breaking into the 180s by May.

So I went shopping today and was completely blown away by the fact that I was trying on size 12 and size 14 pants and even tried on a size large shirt that fit! It seems so odd to me that I am not only out of plus size clothing but wearing sizes I haven't worn in the last decade...it's a good kind of odd though so I'll take it and adjust!

I hope everyone else is doing well on their goals.

My plan's gone a bit haywire, unfortunately. My grandfather had a valve replacement and a quadruple bypass last week. He's doing great -- I haven't made it to WW since I left for his hometown, but we'll see on Friday how well/poorly I've done.

4star- Great news on the sizes! Isn't that the best feeling? It is really taking me forever to adjust to not looking for the biggest size item to try on. And I really love how I can walk into our sams whole sale club and buy clothing if it I want to.

shanhat- Sorry to hear about your grandfather! How frightening!!

toobig looks like i need to get my butt in gear, or you're going to blow me out of the water!!

i was doing so well, then i ate my whole fridge yesterday. it was terrible. i still feel sick. i don't have a digital scale here at my parents place, so i have no numbers to report- this was also the "Test run" of what moving home is going to be like, and let me tell you, about my mother. how she is 5,2, 120 lbs, and keeps BAGS of candy in the house.

BAGS.

like sweets, candies, cheeses, bread, aka everything that is my absolute kryptonite.

now, i understand this is kind of a "not so nice" thing to do, and i WILL do this without warning, but i AM going to start throwing things out. this is very frustrating.

stimkovs- At my mil's house over the weekend she gave me two cases of cookies. I must have had some sort of look on my faces because she quickly told be to pass them on to who ever wanted them around my house. After three straight years of calorie counting and alomost 90 pounds lost people are still giving me cases of cookies? Try to be patient with your mom.

Hope everyone has a great week!

Hi everyone!
I’m sorry I haven’t posted in forever, but things have been crazy around here. I started a new job as a hostess a few weeks ago, and I’m so not used to spending hours and hours on feet. Plus, I kept trying to keep to my old non-working schedule and try to fit in everything I used to do, plus work. Not such a good idea. I ended up taking a calorie counting break because I was eating way too little to support my new activity level But I’m back on track now, although still trying to figure out how much I should be eating.
I’ve been thinking of everyone here and it looks like you’ve all been doing really well! Keep up the great work!!

174.5 this morning so I changed my ticker. These challenges have been good for me. How is everyone else doing?

Yes I am here! I've been out of town and just got back. I am not sure where I am on my weight. I'm bloated from being off track during my trip so I didn't bother weighing. I'll check in a few days. I am just gonna jump back on track and see about getting into those 180's by May 1st!
