not enough calories for my execise?
So my plan is basically a 1200 calorie diet. Last summer I went from 146 to 120 lbs by intaking 1200 calories a day and working out a few times a week...
I've since gone up to 130 lbs. If I don't monitor my calories I typically take in between 1500 and 2000 calories.
Since I've been trying to get back on my diet plan, I've been wondering if I'm cutting it all too close. With the weight gain I've increased my workouts. Usually in the gym 5 days a week, hr of cardio (burns 600 calories) and 30 mins of weights. Once a week I do a yoga class too and I walk to and from schoold (45 min walk) and work (30 min walk) 5 days a week. I've been struggling to stick to the 1200 calories, and I'm thinking maybe I've just become too active to eat so few calories? I know it can be unhealthy but I just can't seem to lose the weight if I intake more :/
Basically I'm wondering if you account for your calories burned in your day from extra activities in your calorie counting. I use the calorie counter on my phone but never add in my cardio etc.
