I am not gonna push it too much. I just need more activity. I will have to add that strength training to my walking to make it a decent workout but it should be lighter on the feet. Adding more strength training is one of my goals so it works...If I get any more swelling or redness, I'll rest it. I would certainly take light work than no work at all if I hurt it more.

**Update. I did 5-6 miles on my recumbent bike/about 25-30 mins (didn't count cool down ride). Things went well! I have to watch how I pedal but I can do it pretty pain-free. I'll just bike more and walk less for right now.

I have hit my Easter goal as of this morning! So I am going to tweak it to be

Easter: 180
May: 173

I didn't set a very aggresive Easter goal to begin with since I had been stuck at 187-188 for about a week or so.

So I'm down to 199 hopefully I can make my Easter goal of 195. I've been sticking to 1200-1300 calories but I haven't been that great about working out :/

That's a pretty low amount of calories so you should make progress whether you exercise or not, although it will be a a bit quicker with exercise. The big difference I see with getting that exercise in is that I get toning results a lot faster than with dieting alone. It's encouraging to see the scale go down but on the days it's not moving, seeing your toned body coming through is a great motivator. You might just find some things you really like to do.

Me too, me too -- this will be my first 3FC challenge....

Goal 1 by Easter that I'm firmly in habit of counting calories and 3 workouts a week.

Goal 2 by Mayday -- when is that by the way?....goal is that I'm up to 5 workouts a week and that my weight is 165.

I need to get my scale back from DH....recently had him take it to the office so I'd not weigh so much....but I need it back ;-)

Hey all! Just a quick update: Today I WI at 148.8 which is a new low for me! Even when I was getting married, the lowest I got was 149! I'm quite happy, I know it's .2 ounces lower, but I'm doing the dance!

Otherwise, things have been pretty good. Today was a day off from exercise. My knee is starting to improve, but I'm still not running.
I do plan to take my measurements soon, maybe tomorrow. Food has been good, a little high on exercise days, but that's fine.

Later chickies!! Remember that Friday is traditionally NSV day (Non-Scale Victory Day). Be sure to have something to share!!

Hey everyone!
Sorry it’s been so long since I’ve posted. I just got a new part-time job so I’ve been busy with that. But I’ve been staying on plan. I haven’t really been walking on my work days, but I’m working as a hostess so I’m on my feet for a long time and I figure I walk for at least an hour during a normal shift. So it’s kind of like a walk, just in circles Hope everyone else is doing well!

Thanks I want to lose a minimum of 2lbs. a week so that's why I only consume between 1,200-1,300 cals. Suprisingly I have been losing around 3-4 pounds a week but thats probably because I have drastically increased activity and my diet.

I'm at 197.4 whoo hoo!! I can't wait to hit 195, my easter goal
