I've been sooo bad I don't even know where to start!!! Need to get back on track but it's soo hard after not caring!!

I am going to up my calories to 1500-1600 and that will give me more room, 1200 is way to low for me and I think that is the problem... if I don't eat super healthy I am hungry!!

So far today I only had an apple and coffee... let's see how the rest of the day goes.

Default 1500 calorie diets

Hi CIELOARGE I can vouch for you that it is much easier to eat 1500 calories a day and stay on a diet than it is to eat 1200 calories. One may think that the extra calories will impede weight loss efforts, but it truth in may help you sustain them.

Also, I noticed that you have kids and you made mention that it's hard to eat healthy all day because you get hungry. If you try to substitute whole grains in somewhere in your daily routine, you will notice that you don't get hungry. For me, in the mornings, I simply eat either some kashi (10g of fiber) or a whole wheat tortilla (12 g). I've noticed that when I don't have whole grains and I am dieting----I GET FAMISHED!!!! Other good high fiber snacks to eat during the day could be Snackwells Cereal Bars. Between eating those and high fiber in the morning, I noticed that I don't really get hungry at all!!

Also, I noticed that you have a family and i know that husbands can be hard to feed. I recently got into this website: http://www.skinnytaste.com/ it's awesome! My husband never used to eat leftovers from food that we made, and now he does!!!! And he is pickiest eater i know!!! Yayyy!!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Yesterday went great!!! Yay!! I have averted my challenge to a 7-day challenge. I think it's good to attack this. Here is yesterday's total caloric intake:

breakfast:
whole wheat tortilla (130), veggies (50), salsa (25), eggs (200)

snack: orange (70)

lunch: green apple with peanut butter (350)

snack: cinanmon raisin snackwells bar (130)

dinner: Chicken and Broco Casserole 313

Snack: Ritz Crackers (130) with Babybel Cheese (35)

Total calories: 1450 cal! Sweet!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

TODAY'S PLAN

Breakfast: whole wheat tortilla (130), 1 egg (100), 1 egg white (40), cheese (50), salsa (25)

Snack: Celery with Peanut Butter (250)

Lunch: Chicken and Broco Casserole (325)

Snack: Snackwells Cereal Bar (130)

Dinner: Chicken and Broco Casserole (325)

Snack: Orange (70)

Total: 1445

Hi!! Thanks for the tips! I will try that website.
And yes, you are right its so much easier to stay on track at 1500 than 1200. 300 cal is not that much but it makes a huge difference!

Yesterday was better! 1446 calories for the day and I felt satisfied!! I even had a cheeseburger and kids fries! Haha

Default I am around....

after hurting my toe, thankfully did not break it, but something supposedly to the ligament, everything did a nosedive I am just now, almost 3 weeks later being able to walk close to 3K, it seems so much harder to do things when you stop exercising. Saddest part**sniff sniff** I can feel the weight coming back...I HAD JUST LOST 10LBS!!!! like starting over again.

I started drinking Coke...my hubby and kids were TRYING to be helpful when I couldn't walk hardly at all and buy me all the things I didn't need to eat. Now to get back on track....it took a few months for the walking and getting things slowly figured out......blah!!!! DH is away this week, out of the country so maybe I can do something...but it will be hard juggling kids and exercise and eating right....and work at the center.............

so, kick my big ol' butt ladies if it doesn't go right!!!

Thank you all for your well wishes for my toe! This is just horrible. I'v been sitting for a week-no exercise and high calorie days--which = weight gain

Wednesday: Cals: 1767 Water: 80oz No
Thursday: Cals: 1777 Water: 72 oz No

I'm feeling so much better after this surgery. I work this weekend, so at least I'll get some walking in for exercise. I still have today with "no closed-toe shoes" on my feet. Luckily for me, I have a pair of black Under Armor sliders to wear

Hope you all have a great Friday!!

Oh well... today is my weight in day and.... 4lbs UP!!!!
That's what 1 week of eating bad does to you, plus TOM is on its way (tomorrow or Sunday for sure)... I've been extra bloated this month plus some spotting... I wonder if it has to do with anything???

In the past was so easy for me to lose weight and I usually mainteined without much of an effort, but lately it's been going up like crazy and it's really hard to lose it and keep it down! Maybe it's time to visit my ob...

Too much info, just writing my thoughts...

I know I keep chaging my mind haha but I am trying Oatmeal during breakfast and lunch, maybe it will keep me from getting bloated so much! Plus I always like it

You guys are going great!!! Keep going! I will catch up soon!!!
