Heading for day 1 tomorrow again. I've already consumed at least 1500 calories, more like 1700... and I haven't had dinner yet. Darn that ice cream. >.<

A couple days ago I gave in to the urge, and ate over a half a bucket of ice cream. That's what was left in the bucket. I sat down with it... next thing I know... there are like... three spoonfuls left.

*sigh*

I need to totally revamp my stuff. It's just annoying because I TRY and plan my meals... and then we end up doing a last minute travel, we go out to eat, or the only thing family members cook is pizza or brisket... with no salad available. And... I'm too lazy to go find my own food...

I weighed this morning: 210.2

So at least I didn't really gain more than a lb or two... and it could be that most of it is water retention. I dunno.

I'm just so frustrated with myself.


Oh... does anyone on here know how to find out exactly WHAT will be eaten on an international flight? We leave for Serbia on Tuesday... which means we have a 12+ hour plane trip. Fun stuff...

Didn't do much today... Walking buddy wasn't feeling great so we took a day off from our 3.5 miles. But I'm not feeling too guilty about it.

I am, however, feeling down.... Just one of those "ugh" days...
Worn out from the obsession of weight loss, I think.

Lori- Hope your not in pain for too long, I hope you didn't break anything. You want to hear something funny? I got up at 6am last week to go to the bathroom and I was half asleep, I think i was sleep walking there for a minute and I walked right into the pantry door in the kitchen, face first! My cheek has been sore ever since, lol! Oh and sorry I got you hungry for peanut butter, It can do alot of damage to your weight so be careful you don't eat too much, like me! Sure is good though!

As for me, I gained 8 oz., I just keep going up and down with my weight everyday, I don't get it. It's like my body doesn't know what to do or is really confused. I had 1210 cal. today, way under my limit. I did it on purpose to see what would happen, I wasn't that hungry today anyway. Who knows what I will see on the scale tomorrow.

Serbrider - what will be eaten and what is served don't have to be the same thing.... What will be served - unless yuo ordered special meals (kosher, diabetic, vegitarian, etc) you can't really tell ahead. Many will be prepackaged things though so you get nutrient info off the package. And the stewardesses may be able to tell you calorie counts for anything else.

But you do not have to be at the mercy of the whims of the airlines. Toss a couple apples, a homemade sandwich, some string cheese, some nuts, a frozen yogurt (will be thawed in time to eat it but will help keep everything else cool) in your bag. Plan ahead, eat healthy, eat on plan. There are a couple fairly recent threads about airline planning and emergency snacks - both could be useful threads for you to read...

susie ~Hope ya didn't crack anything LOL~I laughed so hard from that one I had to run hurting to pee quickly! Thank God It was already cracked just sore now!I have No padding down there anymore I guess for when I fell both times LOL So it proboly just made a biger crack LMAO! hehehe ~yes I am being goofy~!!


fruitlady~ouch sounds so painful too! I am ok just sore y'all~if I get in to bad of pain I will go to the emergency room ~just basically sore. I did clothes today On the line & Deadheaded flowers a& skipped all exercises otherwise.
LIKE I said above~No padding down there anymore guess for when I fell both times LOL!.~as for the peanut butter~Aint your fault It's delicous! Everytime I cheat~ I cheat with it about 1 time a month or so~& I agree it holds the weight on u for a few days up a pound or 2! But it is super yummy! But I know I can't do that all the time so I figure once a month will not kill me. That or eating what I want every Thanksgiving as I have done for the last 2 Thanksgivings.We gotta have a moment ever so often HUGS*

Aloha ladies!

I'm in a much more positive mood than I was last night. I did have a little indiscretion with animal crackers, but then I got sick to my stomach and involuntarily vomited- YUCK! I think it may have been due to some sour milk in my AM coffee...

Today I'm back on plan 110%. I haven't exercised yet but will if I get out of work early- ****, I will anyway!

I'm also ridiculously excited- today is the World Cup final- and my team, Spain, are in it for the first time!!! I feel like today is the day to end all that heartbreak. The first shot to really show the world what Spain is all about. They've been my team for a long time and though they have had a less than stellar run this Cup, they did what they had to do and made it to the final. Hopefully it will be a great game- if only I weren't working!

I have every meal planned for today and have about 500 calories of wiggle room to work with- so I can throw in a side at dinner, woo-hoo!

Lori- Eek, glad to hear your bum is feeling better! Sounds painful. At least peanut butter and crackers is healthy!! I'm doing better now though- getting positive again. I don't know why I do things that make me feel like a big ball of mush. And the book comment was just about how long my post was...heehee. But, I actually am writing a novel on the side...who knows if I'll actually finish it! It's kind of a historical/mystery/finding oneself tale. Excellent about your daughter writing- it's really such a creative release and I think it's great that you're encouraging it.

Fruitlady- I do stuff like that all the time- I have so many bumps and bruises from who knows what! Do you weigh every day? Our bodies naturally fluctuate in weight, so maybe you could try weekly weigh ins instead at a consistent time?

Vlada- That's excellent! I'm sure you'll make it no problem.

Mermaid- I hear you about the ugh days- I've had a whole week of them. I'm gradually snapping out of it though. Just have to keep pushing.

Serb- I hear you on the whole convenience food thing. It's especially bad at work. One of my co-workers is a fantastic cook and always cooks up unhealthy/unbalanced meals so I struggle with that. I do say no to her sometimes though...it's just tough.

Susie- YEAH FOR SIZE 10!! Congrats!!

Dcapulet- I've also been feeling off this week...but I've been indulging a little too much, haha. Makes me wonder why I got off plan at all if it makes my body feel so rotten.

Still no scale (Amazon shipping might be free but it is also slow!) so no problems with weighing in too often!

as for weight for me lately
been Staying between 151 to 150 all week & weekend. Which is cool I have those moments ~use to them. Although 140's sound kinda sweet! But when I am tone if I am still 150 who cares about the number Other than if a person starts to regain.~then I would care. But I am so use to my system I should never gain it back.
Well off to facebook for a few then to try to walk~I has to skip most of my exercises due to pain But I did do my chores & they was quite the workout.~Especially hanging clothes on a line.(speaking of yesterday)
I feel like a loser when I do not get my exercising in~It actually makes u feel good(or does me) to sweat out with exercise daily~it renews me for the day ~If that made since.LOL

Hi all.

Just checking in real quick. Had my weekly weigh in this morning. Down 6.5lbs this week. It was more earlier in the week but I was really stressed yesterday and I didn't get all my water in yesterday. Moving on...going today to look at a gym my mom is recommending me to join for this next week while I'm in Phoenix. Let you know later how it goes. Hope everyone has a great Sunday.

Lori, whew I feel for you. I use to fall often for no apparent reason. Nothing on the stairs, nothing on the sidewalk. Just missed a step or something. My DH would call me clumsy :( I actually have broken both my ankles just walking and stepped down wrong and fell. Hope you aren't in too much pain. Feel better, be careful. :hug:

Well the scale is finally moving again I weighed in this morning at 181.4 still a ways to go to get to 170 but I feel better seeing the numbers change. :)

Fruitlady, it's really interesting that talking about peanut butter makes you/me want it just reading it. I have had p/b only twice since starting my new journey and it is really hard to not go back for more. I only have a tablespoon but it is so not enough. I miss the days of my jar and a spoon :) I had my separate jar from the kids. (greedy I know and selfish). But you know what's really good and it does satisfy my peanut butter craving ... the slim fast peanut butter chocolate bar, reminds me of a mini butterfingers. (I think I brought that up before, sorry for being repetitious) and Lori yes it does seem to stick with you. :)

Westernsouthergirl, you're good, I'm not patient as we know and waiting for my scale would drive me silly. I have to talk myself out of weighing in the middle of the night when I go potty sometimes. :)

Shan84, :woohoo: on the 6.5lbs in a week. I'd love to do that. I know I need to work harder and maybe it will happen :) Congrats to YOU!
