Susie I totally understand. I saw 179 yesterday and today back to 180. I'm not complaining since I did see the 7 so I know it's coming. We'll have to do a cheer for 7's

I'm new to 3FC and decided to join this challenge.
I started cc and workout on 9th july.

so, my starting weight is 75kg (165 lbs) and my goal is to get to 65kg (143 lbs) ,which is my prepregnancy weight, till the challenge is over. I know it's lots of pounds to lose but I like to think positive and believe I can do it.

NSV - and woot for me, me and my friend went walking today and we got the whistle from a passerby...it was nice...been a while!

I had 1295 cal. today, much less than usual. My cake was gone this morning, so I couldn't have any. That's a good thing, the scale was down a whole 2 oz this morning. lol

Thundah~I got checked by my doc I was just clumsy ~he said proboly getting use to my new size~LOL~My blood pressure is super now since I lost weight & quit smoking over 2 & 1/2 years ago~but thanks for worrying about me~I think I am ok though...I hope so anyways.


Fruitlady~I had chili today with 1/2 a peanut butter sandwich It was so darn delicious! ~Stayed withing calories though! Love my peanut butter!

Good New to report ~my son that asked me to help him lose weight Is in Onederland as of yesterday! he hit 199.8~he is just 12 Since February~ He was 209.8 When school ended on June 5th here So He has lost 10 pounds so far & is eating everything the other kids do~I am just making sure I keep low calorie stuff for them~to eat & snack wise ~they can bearly tell the difference I have been doing it to them gradually changing the food over a year now.~Just when he is in school He gets alot of rewards ~TREATS! & He always is eating extra breakfasts From other kids~LOL When it is muffin mornings~LOL I told him to cut that out & he should be great. He is 5"8.5" Already so he is looking good(Always was handsome though) He is growing up so fast! My daughter is in the 130's & Her 8's & 10's she likes to wear baggy are way too baggy~She is gonna need 6's (for the baggy look this year for school~I start school clothes shopping in approx 2 weeks ~Done some of it aready~Shirts.Unsure about pants size waiting til last minute.) OH my daughter is 5'2" Or 3" At most (started in a tight 16 & was gonna need an 18~but Not sure her weight~I figure maybe 200 at least or approx.). So I would say if she wore her clothes fitting like us adults do we would wear the same size cause I am taller than her.
~She looks so good this year~I Hope the boys are decent that go after her LOL!(If she returns there likings) LOL! ~She will be 18 next May~UGH!

Anyways my 9 year old that will be 10 August 30th is still in slims ~which have still always been too big on him ~THANK GOD FOR ADJUSTABLE WAIST KIDS JEANS! Anyways like I have said before~he Was at the age the other 2 was when I started my journey & switching the food for all of us~When the other gained there weight so He is staying slim & healthy seems like.~
Sorry to blab ~But my kids are My life Especially even more so in the summer~basically 24/7 uness the hubby watched them for me for a few minutes.~~I AM STILL ON PLAN & Hoping to be alot toner by Labor day! I am working hard daily other than my fall days~UGH

It's time to go home now and I'm ready. We have had a had so much fun. I've gotten so many compliments. There were some pictures I was looking through that I've taken this weekend and didn't recognize myself. My BIL did a video of the last event and we were watching it and I actually look good to myself from lots of different angles. I was so surprised. My whole head is trying to catch up with my body. My parents hadn't seen me since Christmas and was esxcited about my progress. I will be doing personals when I get home.

Nice to read that everyone is making good progress. Am sending you all good thoughts for success! :)

I'm keeping on my plan and learning more about balancing the diet, exercise, eating a bit less, and allowing myself to have splurges.

After splurging a bit on the week-end and exercising much more last week, I came out even at 138. Am looking forward to enjoying my plan this week and hoping for 136 next Sunday.

Am off to exercise a bit more.

This challenge is great, it is a perfect way to help keep me motivated. There is enough time to see some real change, yet when it gets here it will seem like the time passed quickly.

Good Morning, quick check in for me.

Today I'm going to starting a new exercise routine. I know this really cool cyber friend who is a personal trainer/body builder and she has several fitness plans ( a day by day workout schedule) and i chose one to start today. Its a 12 week program. I will still count my calories but will just follow her workout schedule. I like the idea of having a workout plan, most of the time im standing in front of my exercise DVDs trying to figure out which one i want to do today,LOL. Today I will do a circuit type workout.

To help inspire me, i bought a new food/workout diary yesterday along with some very cool stickers. Its so pretty
:) pink w/flowers.all girly,lol. ;) And the stickers are so motivating!! Being the dork that I am i uploaded a pic of it for my blog. Here is a pic of it:p:

HI everyone! I hope im not too late to join this challenge!
I would like to be under 200 by labor day! So I would like to lose at least 10-12 pounds! I have begun my diet today. I am struggling some but I weigh more today than when I started on this site :( I am still trying to find my way around in here so if anyone has any advice...I WOULD LOVE IT!!!

Welcome Envelope; Jen and Lippy. I love your weight loss ticker, Lippy! Jen, make sure you're eating enough calories! Don't go down too low too soon!

I splurged over the weekend with the in-laws in town, but not to extravagantly. I didn't weigh this morning, but I was so surprised because I wore a top I bought two weeks ago that was still too snug for public viewing and it fits perfectly now - size Medium! My size 12 long-shorts are getting baggy now! I felt like I'd puffed up over the weekend and I actually shrank! I'll stay OP calorie wise this week, even with TOM coming. I will possible weigh in the morning on the WiiFit if the psycho bathroom scale goes down at least .5. If not, I won't have an official WiiFit weigh in till after TOM.

I'm sorry not to be doing too many personals lately, I'm reading you all and cheering you on bigtime! I'll get back in the swing of things soon, hopefully!

Hi Lori, our children are the same ages (except I have two more than you ;)). Our 17 yr old is in a 6 she is has always been thin and worries that she will one day look like me (I wish she'd stop thinking like that), but she gives me lots of compliments about my weight loss so that's good. Our 12 year old is like me he is 5"5 and weighs 163lb. I am working with him to cut calories but we have allowed him to eat what he wants for so long it's hard and he gets upset and starts to cry. This is what I pulled off the internet for him ~~A 12 year and 9 months old (male) child who is 163 pounds and is 5 feet and 5 inches tall has a body mass index of 27.2, which is over the 95th percentile, and would indicate that your child is overweight.Your child's ideal body weight would be at a BMI at the 85th percentile or below, and so would be about 129 pounds. He has always been in the 95th percentile since birth so even though I'd like him to come down about 20lbs, I think when he plays football this school year it will help him to get into shape along with better eating habits. I had to stop his extra breakfast and snacks at school also. Our 11 yr old is just a maintainer, his weight rarely fluctuates. We are shocked when his clothes start not to fit. He was only 6lbs 14ozs at birth, my smallest. Our 9 yr old is a stick, he has always been thin. and Our 6 yr old, she also a thin one. They will all be taller than me. The thin comes from my husband he's 6"6 and weighs about 245 if that.

Jiggle isn't it weird that you didn't recognize yourself. Glad you got to see yourself from all angles and were surprised, that is a victory in itself, I'm sure :)

Envelope, you're right this is a great motivational tool :)

Amelia, this might be a silly question ... Is the book especially for logging food and exercise or are you turning it into that?

MissPriss, I like your new diary. I enjoy writing my food and exercise plan on paper. I just like using a fountain pen!

I'm enjoying my movement times these days and found some niftier things to eat. I don't care for cooking much and I enjoy finding really simply things I like.

Lori- yeh, you gotta love that peanut butter. I am learning how to control myself now, so I don't go overboard on it. I make my own, only one or two servings at a time!

I had 1310 cal. today, a little more than yesterday. I gained 1.3 lbs as of this morning, I don't know why, I ate much less calories. It seems I can stay at a lower weight if I eat 1400 to 1600 cal. Doesn't make sense to me!
