I was able to stay on plan today, even though at work we had a big meeting and the food was mainly fatty, salty and sweet and high calorie. I ate fresh fruit with no dip and had one small piece of coffee cake.

Here I come, ready for the Halloween Challenge, if I may! So, since that's about seven weeks from now for me, I will go for seven pounds??? I have 12 days of vacation during that time, so anymore than that would be unrealistic for me. So, starting at 220#, I want to weight 213# when the spooky day comes! Also cutting down on salt, and getting in some water aerobics and walking at least three days a week ...

1, 2, 3 ... GO!!!

Hydra...Good for you staying on plan with all that temptation!

Yesterday I had about 1,700 calories. I'm still a little high. Will do better today!

Hydra, great job with your self-control at the meeting. It is SO HARD when you're with a group of people, most of them munching mindlessly away! I commend you ...

Starzmom, I was a little high with my calories as well yesterday. I'm going for 1400 to 1500, and I was a little over 1600! Better luck to both of us today!

Great JOB On being back to ticker weight~David!
(if you can get a house by next month~You can still get that rebate!!!)

Nella~didn't mean to pass ya up earlier...I have been stuck at weight before too and it so sucks....So I hope you get a new lower number soon~GOODLUCK.

Starzmom~1700 isn't that bad....I am still proud of ya.
we all have some days when we go over a little bit on calories.

babenwaiting~Not to bad at a little over 1600 Either~I wish you both A good calorie day!!!!

I was eating like 3000 to 6000 a day when I learned about calorie counting~LOL~No wonder I was gaining weight so quickly.
SO I am so proud of everyone that has a high calorie day and it is still decently low considering the amount of them we use to eat......HUGS TO ALL ~& AGAIN I AM VERY PROUD OF Y'ALL!

My shoulder/muscle is better~So I gotta get my exercising done....UGH~LOL

Off to browse for a quick second then off to get them beloved exercises done..LOL

Lori, thanks so much for your support! You're right ... even if we eat a few more calories than our goal, it is a heckuva lot less than the 3000 to 4000 per day I've been eating for awhile now.

Starzmom, I'm bumping 1600 for the day (AGAIN! ) but that's okay ... we're doing great!!!

Losing, great job with your exercise! Keep up the good work!

Thanks everyone for your support!!! We had a friend over this afternoon and we ordered chinese delivery. I stuck to steamed rice and veggies and was next time we order I will order off their diet menu selections. I stayed on plan and just under my 1,500 plan for the day.

I purchased some calorie free, gluten free peanut flavored spread and it tastes pretty good. I plan to eat celery and apple slices with it. I also purchase some Ken's lite accent spray salad dressings and had the honey mustard one today. It is roughly 1.5 calories per spray and was very tasty.

I hope everyone is having a good weekend!!!

Losing4another OMG! your an exercising machine! Way to go girl!
Ya know I wonder what they do in P.E. also~I use to be near dead by the end of my P.E. Class Especially when I lived ALABAMA~When I switched from Ohio to Alabama as a kid I felt like I got placed into a military school during Phys ed. LOL! But I eventually got use to it.Then I moved back to Ohio a Few months later so I got back to a slower routine again....But mit was still pretty intense.

babenwaiting ~Your Welcome~ I always think that when I see people type they went over there calorie amounts of a day...And think just do your best and remember the old intake numbers....YOUR DOING FABULOUS BY THE WAY!

Hydra
Way to go On the chinese~The peanut flavored spread sounds so good! I will have to look it up next time I go shopping.

Hi...I'd like to join in, too. These are my goals:

scale go down
meditate daily
1/2 gallon of water daily
stretches and strengthening 5 times a week
write down food and calories
put fork down between bites (I must slow down)

I'll add more as I think of some.

Thanks!

babenwaiting- thanks! My biggest down fall with losing weight was I hate keeping track of calories. I tried just writing down what I ate to be able to guess later without keeping track of calories but that doesn't work very well unless you eat the same thing over and over.

Hydra- great job staying in your calorie range and eating out. I only like two things on the chinese menu and they are both way to high in calories to even think about ordering from there.

Beverlyjoy- welcome..Thats a lot of water ...Are you close to a bathroom all day?

Lori- My dh was born and lived in Ohio until he was 14. I've only been up once to meet his family. I like it up there but it's way to far from my momma here in Florida Our PE was pretty relaxed to in school. I moved to FL when I was 9 so I was here for most of those PE years too. Here unless you can keep up with the big kids you sat back or got crushed. My daughter feels the same way. If they did laps or something everyday then all kids would have a fair shot at some real exercise everyday
Got another 45 minutes in today Thats 4 hrs! I forgot how much I enjoyed exercise. I really like the gym but with the new tighter budget I've been giving myself a reason not to exercise......There is all kinds of things we can do for free
So sorry to here about your niece. Way to young for those kinds of problems. Thoughts are with her and her family
