Hello again guys ... I'm back from vacation (last Monday), and sorry to report that I gained most of my lost pounds back between the vacation, and the stressful week that's followed. I mean to get it in gear again ... BUT

I'M SO PROUD OF ALL YOU LOSERS!!! YOU ARE DOING GREAT!!! TO ALL OF YOU!!!

I was able to get down to 188.6 this weekend, which I was so excited for!!! However, I am going to relish these numbers because it's TOM coming up in a couple of days, so I know it will be a bit before I see them again LOL

I was able to run for 20 minutes straight on the treadmill again at the end of last week (that's two times now), but I am starting to come down with a cold, so it was a lot more difficult to get through the running parts today. I could hardly get through 10 minutes on my first jogging interval and then I could only do 5 minutes and then 5 more minutes afterwards.

But it's still exciting to know that I can do the 20 minutes straight if I want to. I usually get bored at about minute 13 and want to stop, but I keep pushing myself.

Off to go change my ticker

I'm only down 1lb...at 198 and want to be at 191 by Halloween...atleast it wasn't a gain...7 more to go and only 19 days...it's gonna be hard, but I'm still gonna try! I've been doing well with counting calories, even on my busy days at work...preparing dinner before I go to work definitely helps!! (I work 4p-1230a) I've done abs & upper body every day this week...but no cardio I just can't seem to get motivated to do the treadmill or glider...heck, not even one of the videos I have at home...Anybody have advice for motivation? At the beginning of the summer I was doing the treadmill for 1hr/day, 3-4x/wk and I was even up to jogging for 5min straight! (I'm TOTALLY NOT a runner!!!) Then I stopped for some reason and The last time I was on it (prob. 2-3wks ago) I could barely jog 2 min. So I know I need to start again... but the motivation is not there.......maybe I should start reading the success stories on here again..they seem to always help......

Keep up the good work everyone!!! 19 days to go!!!

Hiya EVERYONE!!!!!!!!

I Was just breezing through.....I am in the middle of making the kids dinner. So I can only type a quick second.....
Anyways.....Everyone came out of hiding~Y'all are back!!!!

Good Morning

I plan on doing a full body weight workout today. Yesterday was a 55 min run interval. Im still on track with my calories. Had a meal on sunday but i was good for most of the day.

You guys are doing great...lets keep going! Be back soon!

I'm BACK And well I have company Four extra pounds worth...it was actually 5 but I lost one just from being on track yesterday It's okay though I think it was good for my body to go over in calories for a while. After getting sick my body was holding on to each calorie I ate.
So it was dh's vacation but I ate like I was on one too We went out ..we got take out way to much but it doesn't happen every day and I feel good about getting back track and staying there
And the best part of the whole week....Dh and I went out to my favorite BBQ place. I hardy ever go because I know I can't be good there...It was sooo yummy but all the fatty food made Dh sick. It's not good that he got sick of course but since dragging him along on my new healthier way of eating his body couldn't handle the fatty food we used to eat regularly. He actually said I wish I would have ordered the salad...That he by the way was drooling over (the lady next to us ordered) before our heart attack special arrived on our table I don't think he will be fighting me to add more fat to our diets anytime soon.

Just dropping in to say hello and let everyone know I am still around. I've been on plan this week with diet, but definitely lacking in exercise. Hoping to start tonight. Need extra motivation. Still have 9lbs to lose to make my halloween challenge goal.

So you had a vacation and enjoyed it~SHAME ON YOU!!! Just kidding.
When were sick our bodys need an extra bost especially with this H1N1 Flu or any flu for that matter~So I think eating a little more for a few days to replentish yourself was a great idea....And 4 or 5 lbs Sometimes is just a flexible amount on the scale~You may see it one day then 2 or 3 later its gone~So I wouldn't sweat it......SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GLAD YOUR BACK!!!!


Nate0201 ~You are doing great~If you don't reach your challenge weight number goal~It's ok~Alot of us don't ....But the thing is to try like heck too and stay motivated....You have kicked butt So far~So I am proud of you~And You will reach that 274 Soon enough~~ (cause your no quitter)

shan84 ~I have thought & thought & thought Of ideas when without a oven and I am still at a blank.....I will think of something though....I know something I love to eat ever so often and can cook without an oven.........A grilled cheese sandwich but with some ham in it also....So delicous....Eat it with some soup or Just as snack if you do not over do it.
Ideas to help motivate....Hmmmmmm ........................
What about my walk while you talk plan? Tell yourself I can not talk unless I walk!!!
Everytime your on the phone with someone Walk.....Just from room to room.
Walking is great exercise and burns alot of calories...especially if you walk briskly.......I think your doing super by the way ~



as for me......I took one day off from exercise Today....I have to skip a day ever so often because My shoulder Gets funky....Pulled or something.
I hate to skip a day But I would rather skip a day from time to time than to hurt it worse. I still have over 4 pounds to go~I didn't have enough money to get my teeth fixed so I Didn't get to get that goal done So maybe for next challenge or so.....Had some emergencies come up and my kids are far more important........ I am in a lower pants/jeans Size than expected....A size 9 Some 10's fit but most of them are to big. All 9's fit me good. So that makes me feel great. I am actually in a single digit number FIRST TIME EVER!!!
I was always the chunky ,heavy Girl/lady! My smallest size I can ever remember wearing in womens was a size 13/14 in the 6th grade.Then I went to 15 /16 and up to 18 in high school...Then 20/22 From then on.
NOW A 9!!!!!!! I AM SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY!
Well....It's been a long day and this computer chair is making my shoulder hurt worse...so I am gonna get some zzzzzzzzzzz...GOODNIGHT EVERYONE~I HOPE Y'all had a super day!

I was diagnosed with high blood pressure,the doctor said that if I lost weight he would be able to take me off of the meds.For me now it is not that I want to lose weight it is that I have to lose weigh,especially if I want to have a baby in the future.I have already lost 14 pounds and my BP is coming down with my weight.Exercising brings it down even more.I have accepted that is my way of life now.I can believe how much salt I was eating,even in the foods that I thought were healthy.

chubbyphotographer ~My doctor Was gonna place me on blood pressure meds also...So I stopped smoking & have been losing the weight~it is so hard at first to stick with it~But believe me its so worth it....And a BABY!!! What a reward! You can do this.....First lets get you healthy~so You can have a healthy BABY In the future and then I can be Auntie Lori!
I hope it's a girl! (LOL~I know I am already in baby world~But I know you can do this)14 Pounds already!!! YOU ARE DEFINETLY ON YOUR WAY TO GETTING OFF THOSE MEDS!!!(and making that baby!)
