Hi Cheryl. You too are doing amazing things. When I started doing these challenges you were over 200 pounds. I watched your weight go down over the months and I think you're doing just great. I felt so good when I could finally say I was "overweight" instead of "obese" so I know what you mean about that being a significant milestone.

Halloween, seems like a good time for the next challenge. I'm in for this next one for sure.

It's my favorite, too, Layri.

So, I went to do my weigh-in at the crack of 5:27 this morning, and guess what? 190.0! One pound past my LD goal! I think the BFL is working!

I haven't posted here much throughout the challenge. But I weighed in this morning and I am currently down to 222....so I didn't hit my goal. But, I wasn't as strict with the eating and exercise as I was at the beginning of the summer, so I am definitely looking forward to the Halloween challenge.

Chele and dgramie, glad to hear from you! I had the same problem with summer and the food that goes along with it. I'm actually glad for it to be over!

I'll put up the Halloween Challenge thread here in a minute, so folks that want to can get their new goals posted. Meanwhile, some people seem to be sleeping in...I won't mention any names, lol.

Congratulations to all who made goal, and to all who stuck it out to the end even when the numbers on the scale were not showing results.

We have reached the end of this challenge! to everyone who made their goals and who reached the end of the challenge. That is a goal met, in itself!

I made mine. Tried on the pants this morning and they fit! Yay! I am so happy to retire the ugly black knitted things to the nether regions of my closet.

A Hallowe'en challenge sounds great. I already know what I am going for.

I honestly thought that a challenge would freak me out. But it has inspired me and given me something to shoot for without making me feel as if I were under too much pressure. I am really looking forward to the next one.

Rain Dancer, I missed this before...that is so cool that the pants fit! Woohoo! I was really tempted to go for the 32" pants goal for Halloween, but that was a little too scary to put in print. Good luck with the new pants...I see you've got your new goal up already.

WHERE is the FB? And Sgirl? Just because it's a holiday and all of that, some people think they can just be off picnicking and having a good time, and not report in...

I'm happy to report that as TOM left, so did another few pounds, and I'm really pleased with the results of this challenge. I blew through my original weight loss goal (149 lbs) and I've made a lot of headway on my second target (139 lbs).

I also managed two significant NSVs. One was to go (way) off plan for a single meal and then get right back on track. The other was that I have incorporated a new treat into my daily diet -- Reece's PB cups -- and they are what sent me off-plan after Easter earlier this year. I wanted to get a handle on them before a possible repeat after Halloween.

So, I'm happy and looking forward to the next challenge.

Congrats to all who made goal or any progress during the challenge!

Hmm, I admit I slept in today, which is why I'm late reporting in. I have a semi-reasonable excuse... yesterday I biked 30 miles to the country and AND AND had an hour and a half personal training session. Not to mention I'm about to start my frigging period which always makes me exhausted.

So, Labor Day challenge went well, I beat it by 6 pounds giving me a 21 pound loss. How the **** did that happen?

I'm at a loss to figure out my Halloween goal. Because anything under 199 is so unreal to me.

Congratulations to everyone in the Labor Day challenge, yay! It was fun getting to know new people and I'm looking forward to the Halloween challenge once I figure out what I'm doing!
