I fell off :(

  • I'm climbing back on.... why did I stop? I'm standing still at 193 and I know if I would have continued to CC that I would be in the 180s by now
  • Don't beat yourself up over it, you can start again at any time. Congratulations on the 23 pounds you have lost.
  • Dawn, isn't that an evil number? I was stuck in that exact spot for 2 months, and just finally saw something different this week. It actually could be good that you've been maintaining a little while, to give your body a chance to recoup. I bet you'll blow by that number and hit the 180s quick! WTG for getting yourself back on track!
  • Don't beat yourself up over it. You can't undo what happened, but you can move forward from here. You're not the only one, either. I fell off, too. Gained back 6 pounds. I'm starting fresh today.

    Good luck!!
  • Congrats for climbing back on! That's what really makes the difference between those who get there and stay there and those who don't - it's not in never falling off the wagon, it's in always getting right back on.
  • Hi. I am Kellee. I just posted the same thing about myself on the 100 pound board. I fell off and gained 5 pounds back. I calorie count as well. The great thing is we can both get back on plan right now.
  • You are not alone, I fell off yesterday... I don't know why I did it, and last night while I was on the tread mill I was beating myself up... Then hub came in and just told me what I'm sure the 3FC's would tell me... Be on plan today, falling once isn't the end of the world.
  • Thanks ladies I'm doing good today, but the left overs from our cookout yesterday look very tasty lol I'll control myself. We had to go school shopping for our 3 oldest daughters and spent way too much money which broke into our grocery budget *sigh* That means not so healthy food this week.... I hate to dig into savings for groceries, ya know? lol

Another thing that I let go is my water drinking, I have been drinking diet soda non stop Here I go though...back on track and I'm NOT falling off.
  • Hi all. Pretty new here, although not new to CC. I just found this website a week ago. I fell off this weekend. With the holiday, my hubby was home and anyway, he's home today so I've been slacking today. Tomorrow I need to get back on plan, but I feel like I've blown it. Why do so many have an all or nothing attitude? Back to the wagon tomorrow...
  • I don't think we have an all or nothing attitude, hence the reason I'm getting back on track.
  • Chill, I wasn't commenting directly at you. Actually, it was generically directed at my own comment that I feel like I've blown it, which is an all or nothing attitude. I just said "so many" because that does seem to be an issue with a lot of people trying to loose weight.
  • I fell off at one point for five weeks and gained back several pounds (when I fall off, I really fall off!). It's great that you were able to maintain and now you are getting back on track!
  • *looks around* mmmmmkay!
  • I fell off Saturday night and consumed a great deal of peanut butter cheesecake (enough for a family of 4). I climbed back on Sunday but today I'm sporting a great nasty cold sore on my lower lip. Too much sugar=lowered immune system=cold sore. Ugh....better than gaining weight, I suppose.
  • I had a semi-rough weekend too. I tried to stay in check, but definitely ate some foods I wouldn't normally.

But the best thing about falling off is getting back on.

You're doing great, Dawn! I'm sure you'll be in the 180's before you know it.
