We feed him Nutro Natural Choice Small Puppy Bites dry food. We don't feed him any wet food because chihuahua's can have teeth problems and the moist food is not helpful with this (plus, I don't feel like brushing his teeth everyday.)

I know there was a recall on Natural Balance food, but the companies are not related.

We feed our cat Nutro Natural Choice dry food too. The adult diet formula (she's 18lbs.) I was really glad I switched because her old food was on the recall. I had switched her a few months before all this started coming out.

My BIL says we should get Solid Gold food for them, but it's really expensive and we need to save every penny we can right now.

Oh, and I'm back down to 162 this morning! Yay! If I'm still there tomorrow I'm moving my ticker down. :D

I upped my walking and I'm trying to keep my cals at 1450 instead of 1500. I guess it's making a difference.

Tinky009 06-08-2007 01:18 PM

That's a pretty good brand of food...we feed our puppies, Royal Canin. It's a bit expensive, but they really do well with it, so I figured it'll do. Though I was feeding them Chicken Soup for the Dog Lover's Soul. (say that 10x fast) They didnt care for it as much, only when they were hungry.

Great job at going back down to 162!! Tweaking does make a whirl of a difference!!!

Hey girls
welcome Music addict.:wel3fc: A greater bunch can’t be found.

how is everyone! I have been busy getting ready for a last minute graduation party for an out of town niece.

That and a few hrs a day at work…shopping for SOMETHING to where to the party.

I tried on new bras… I hate doing that! Not one felt right. I know that my bras are getting big. Just don’t know what Size I need now. I guess I might have to try one some more.

Charlene
you got me curious… what is lemon used on your legs for?
I have the really white legs too. I am thinking about the tanning booth that sprays it on. Just once! I hate being so white.
how did your hair cut go?

Tinky
I am sorry to hear about you grandfather. prayers for you and family.

Lara
I am glad to hear that Curves is doing good for you and dd.
It is a great starting place for those that have not done a gym.
That’s me. ;)

Petra,
Prayers for your dad too. Hope everything goes well.

Hi Zoe

Zenor
Wow Congrats,:carrot:

Man! now I have to get my ticker to go to 162 ;) :D
See, patience is a virtue. enjoy it.

Littlered~ You should have on of the sales ladies measure you at the store. It makes a world of difference! Once you know your size you'll still need to try on lots to see what style you like best (different styles fit differently.) Because I lose weight all over, I've found that I have to buy a new bra for every 16 lbs I lose. It gets expensive though. I've gone a long time with out getting a new one this time and I'm definitely wearing "baggy" bras at the moment. I'm trying to hold out until my birthday to go bra shopping. You get a discount on your birthday at the Playtex outlet here.

Oh, DH got his first job interview set up today! It's over the phone with a college in upstate New York (brrrr... cold winters.) :crossed: I think he feels better now to have an interview somewhere. He's put out so many applications and he's very good at what he does (yes I'm biased) so I'm sure he'll get quite a few interviews. It's just hard to be patient.

littlered 06-08-2007 02:05 PM

Hey Zenor
:crossed: for your hubby.

I might get measured this week end. I just need to find out where to go.
I don't think we have one of those outlets near us.
Although that is what I wear.

when you say you loose a size per 16 pounds... is that cup or around?

Charlene Dahhling 06-08-2007 02:52 PM

Wow! This forum goes by fast!!

I'm not gonna be back posting until Sunday, so bye-bye everyone! Wish me luck that I don't gain too much. We'll probably be walking 5 miles or so everyday, but I'm still worried. I also got taken out to lunch today by my grandparents because of graduation. It's been almost a week and I'm still getting free food. LOL!

I got my hair done yesterday, and I  it! I got it with a big red streak in the middle and a red-violet tint through the back. (Which my mom paid for, as yet another grad present!!:)) It used to be past my shoulders and now it's just a little bit under my chin. I was afraid to get to too short because of my fat face, but it actually looks okay.

I'm gonna go pack some more stuff. See you guys next Sunday, and forgive me if I come back confused! :p

<3 Charlene

Littlered~ Band size not cup (darn!) I'm still a D, but I was a 42 when I started and I think I may be a 36 now. I need to get measured.

Charlene~ Your hair sound cute! I think short hair looks good on women of all sizes. I had super short (pixie cut) hair for a long time and now I'm growing it out. Of course, now it's never styled and always pulled back, but whatever. Oh, and have fun!

CoolMom75 06-08-2007 11:16 PM

Went out to eat tonight, after hubby got home from a week long business trip, and I spent 1500 cals on chicken parm (gasp!). So it was a 2500 cal day. I haven't eaten that much in one sitting for a few months. I was stuffed!

Back on track now. :)

Everyone have a great weekend!

LittleRed- Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. Working out has helped me cope, otherwise, I would eaten myself to the point where I'll burst!

Ok...bra question, if they keep slipping down, and I strap it at the third thingy does that mean I have an ill fitting bra?

Zenor- :goodluck: to your DH! Wow, NY....so you may end up going to the East Coast! Hey, I went to TJ and bought some Uncle Sam cereal, I'm excited to try it tomorrow morning. Kashi is good, but I need some variety. Go Lean crunch ends up hurting my jaw. :)

Charlene- I know you're on your vacation, but have a great time!!! And your hair sounds pretty cute, I want to cut mine short as well.

CoolMom- Just consider it your "treat" night.

Calories for today...1560

and tons of water!

Good Night everyone!!!!!! Have a great weekend.

Steelslady 06-09-2007 03:57 AM

Bad, bad days Thursday and Friday. :( I went over by 200 calories on Thursday and Friday I went over by 300. I'm overdue (no, not pregnant, happens every month) for that TOM, and I just couldn't help myself. I really, really tried not to go over. :(

Clairinator 06-09-2007 09:46 AM

Hi everyone! Wow, there are so many awesome people posting here, and it's great to see such support for everyone! I'm really excited to hear that losing weight changes your bra size- because my cup and number sizes never seem to coincide, and I've never found a bra that fit quite right! I'm really excited about my weigh-in on Monday, but I've definitely been peeking along the way, so I think I'm going to go all week, next week, without once stepping foot on the scale.
Oh, Charlene- I know you're gone for the weekend, (have fun! :D ), but I was wondering if August 6 had any special meaning for you, other than for your weight-loss goal. I ask because it's my birthday ^^

CoolMom75 06-09-2007 01:19 PM

First day with hubby back (awesome) and I wake up to a coffee and a donut. LOL Gotta love him. Luckily it was already in my custom foods on Fitday. I guess I've been there before.

Have a great weekend!

Clarinator, you have Monday weigh-ins too? I love the Monday weigh-in. It keeps me more accountable on the weekends.
