Rai, I have the Salter Nutritional Scale and it does everything plus. I leave my plate right on the scale, weigh my meat, record it on paper than zero it off and add the vegetables, etc. Zero off after every additional foods, the plate weight automatically comes off everytime you zero it off. These scales have nutrition keys for calories of food, sodium/Protein/Fat/Carbs/Cholesterol and Fiber. You don't usually see these scales on E-Bay as they are high end scales. But you can Google and find all kinds of places that sell them. Hope that answers your questions.
P.S. TVP can be used in place of hamburger and takes on the flavor of whatever seasonings you mix with it. I have a recipe for "Sloppy Joes" that is excellent if anyone wants to try it, DH loves them.

AnAbsoluteDiva 03-06-2007 04:58 PM

The flu is behind me, thank God! I'm too old for that stuff, ya know?

Anyway, threw on a pair of jeans today and they were B-A-G-G-Y. I never knew such poor-fitting clothes could make me feel so sexy.

Calories yesterday were at 892 with 332 calories coming from ginger ale. I should have bought diet ginger ale. Shucks!

Going back to the gym today. I haven't been in eleven days but I'll get my three days in this week, so in reality, I've only lost a week.

I'm still beating myself up for missing that third session eleven days ago. I gotta stop doing that... beating myself up when things don't go perfectly. What IS that???

God... so much to work on!

Bobbi~I'd love your recipe!

This is the scale that I got. It is a Salter. I need to play with it more to see all of its functions.

A Perfect Day!

Hi all!

I lurk alot (a few times a day) but rarely post. A little shy I guess :o . But, I have been counting calories since October. Have'nt lost a lot, but slow and steady. I have been shooting for 1200 to 1400 calories a day with a ratio of 30 fat, 40 carbs and 30 protien (I read that somewhere that is a good ratio). Today on fitday I am 1183 calories, 31 fat, 40 carbs and 29 protien. I think thats as perfect as I can get. It was a goooood day!

I have zig zagged alot (probably why I have the slow weight loss) and am not a big fan of excercise. I have, though, been excercising the last couple of weeks, 3 times a week for 1/2 hr. each time (mixing it up with treadmill :woops: , exercise bike :ebike: and weight bench :strong: ). I think I might be seeing a little progress, inch wise and I have lost 2 lbs. this week.

Anyway, I'm pretty excited this week and despite my shyness, just had to share. :D

Cats tongue 03-06-2007 08:45 PM

Hey everyone,

Sounds like everyone is doing well.

Thanks for the welcome everyone. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. And the advice, it's always nice.

So far today calories are okay, I only have a few left for later, and I'll probably try and just eat a plate full of veggies so that I don't go over tonight. But I've been really active today, so being hungry is quite understandable (I biked to/from school. Went for a 30min bike ride, and ran 2miles, plus I have to go to soccer in 10mins... so yeah very active today).

That's one fancy scale alinell.

AbsoluteDiva, I totally agree about baggy cloths. I love a good pair of old-not-stretchy jeans that fit all loose and broken in. So comfy and they do make you feel sexy :).

Abbyin: exercise is good. :) Good for you for keeping it up for a few weeks. Good calories to shoot for as well. Has it been working well? And don't worry about being shy, I'm shy too! I like this site, because it some degree I'm anonomous ( i spelt that very wrong.).

Alright ladies, see you all later, I have to go gear up for soccer!

littlered 03-06-2007 09:16 PM

Hi everyone.

hope all had a nice day

trying hard to use the tread mill more.
I walked 1 mile, in 25 min. Not very fast after looking at the speed and miles ran by others. I hope someday to be able to do as much as the others. I checked my blood pressure before and after the treadmill.
before..129/79 pulse 101
after....126/84 pusle 124

Curves again in the a.m.

total cal 1525, for today. One of my higher days.

walking2lose 03-06-2007 09:17 PM

Hey everyone... Boy, I sure do wish my jeans were getting baggy. They are not yet, but hopefully I'll notice that soon. Glad everyone is doing well. Seems like some of you are having especially good weeks.

I am really tired/sleepy today. I had a hard time functioning well at work, and I had to work late (till 7:30). Needless to say, having a 12 hour work day and being exhausted is not conducive to exercising (or eating well either). I will get back on track tomorrow. I will weigh in Friday, and I'm determined to be below 142!

I'm enjoying all the scale talk. I will have to sit down this weekend and see what I can find. I think I will look for a Salter (might as well get a good one).

Woodlily -- I am wondering if my doc ever checked for Lyme's disease. I cannot remember! I was checked for MS, Reiter's arthritis (I actually have the gene - they tested me for it because my dad had it in college), lupus (my sis has had it for 10+ years; fortunately she is doing very well), and I don't remember what else. I rented a little cottage on a very wooded lot at the time onset of symptoms. I did a LOT of mountain biking back then. Hmm.... this just has me thinking.

Well, I'm off to bed. I hope everyone has a good day tomorrow!

Mami 03-06-2007 09:47 PM

Yeah for you Abbyin!

Miz Diva, you are absolutely right..you need to ease up on yourself. Life is way too short to be beating yourself up and feeling guilty and bad..especially for no reason..you didn't hurt anyone, not even yourself for missing one or two workouts here and there. We all deserve a break, esp. after being sick.

I've only worked out 2 times last week and not at all this week, though I plan to go tomorrow. My new elliptical finally shipped, so I'm hoping to increase the exercise since I won't have to leave the house. No excuses. I'm planning on doing 4 hours a week on the elliptical and go to the gym 3 times per week at lunchtime for weights. I can do an hour each on Fri, Sat, Sun as I'm off, and then try to do 20 minutes 3 nights during the week. We'll see. I can already see myself not doing the 3 nights, but I think I'll do the 3 sessions when I'm not at work all day. I'm tired when I get home!

AnAbsoluteDiva 03-06-2007 09:50 PM

Total calories today were 373 with 24% coming from fat. Stomach still feels queasy. Ran 3.93 miles and worked shoulders and abs. Feels good to have that ache in my muscles. I feel better today than I have in two weeks. Gotta love the gym.

syncrosweetie88 03-06-2007 11:48 PM

hello, lots of new posts since yesterday!

angie- i know how discouraging it feels to see that you are the same weight after a week of being really good, its happened to me many times before. sometimes people plateau and it is the most annoying and dissapointing thing. although i am not an expert at this and i cant tell you for sure why it happens, i have some ideas. your metabolism may have slowed down and adjusted to the number of calories that you have been eating. sometimes its good to have a big meal for one day every few weeks just to speed up your metabolism again. you can also try eating different types of foods and introducing a new type to your metabolism so that it will be shaken up and have to work harder. or you could have just had an off week for some reason; just move on and dont be discouraged by it.

diva- i have also been in your position, where you dont go to the gym once, and then you dont go again, and then you just get really lazy about it and out of the routine. i try to tell myself when i dont feel like going or when i am out of the routine, just DO IT. just go. because once you get there, you get back into the exercise mode and feel more motivated to continue with your diet. and even though you went 11 days without going to the gym, you shouldnt feel bad about it, you should just move on, which you did do; good job on going back today!

i was pretty good again today. i am in college so i often have a problem because the dining halls are like having 2 all you can eat buffets every day, there are so many temptations. but i am teaching myself to just say no to the bad-for-you-but-really-yummy foods, and to only eat until i am almost full, that i dont really need that much. i was good up until i started making trail mix baggies that i could snack on (with nuts chex and yogurt covered raisins.) there were a lot of yogurt covered raisins left and i had one and then one turned into about 20 and i ended up throwing out the rest just so i wouldnt eat them haha. but it could have been bad, i could have totally gone off the diet but i stopped myself before that happened, thinking "forget it" (just as you suggested aphil), and i am happy for myself because of that. anyway my totaly calories was 1145.

sorry that was so diary entry like haha i was just getting into it.

Cats tongue 03-07-2007 12:24 AM

Hey guys. I'm back.

My calorie count was a little high today 2100 by my calculations. But considering my exercise looked like this:
biked to/from school (6k)
biked for at least 30min (8-12k)
biked to/from soccer (6k)
2mile run 18min
40min soccer game.

I figure it's okay. It's because my roommate made cupcakes, and she had one for me to try. And since it looked good, and I was hungry I had it. I'm happy it didn't turn into a binge though :). I didn't even think about it. I enjoyed the cupcake and just moved on. And that feels even better than all the exercise. :) Seeing as I'm exhausted I'm off to bed. Have a good night everyone (and wednesday since I won't get on the computer at all tomorrow, really busy).

srmb60 03-07-2007 06:49 AM

Good morning everyone! 1500 cals yesterday with a nice bunch of activities.

Mami 03-07-2007 07:35 AM

Total calories yesterday, 2160. Ewwwwwwwww. Why did I eat all that??! Well I worked from home and I always over eat when I do that. Today its snowing and I REALLY dont feel like going to the office. Thinking about calling the boss to see what he's doing as he may not go in. In which event I'll be home again, but when I go to work I'll eat so much less and will make it to the gym, so I should probably just get off my butt right now. Grrrrrr. The scale was still at 145 so at least I didn't gain anymore for my past few bad days (usually the scale always goes up after I've had a high day so I've actually gotten used to it).

KEEP IT UP GIRLS!

aphil 03-07-2007 07:35 AM

Man I am tired...even after coffee. :(

After Jasmine gets off to school, I have to take Saber to get his 6 month vaccinations...I HATE doing that. I always feel like he thinks "I" am hurting him, because I have to hold him still while they do it.

Today is strength training, and I teach beginning class tonight...so exercise will be about an hour and a half today to an hour and forty five minutes. Give or take.

I have so much on my plate right now-classes, a couple performances coming up, planning spring landscaping projects (we moved into a newly built home a year ago, and couldn't landscape really last spring/summer because of the new sod rooting in-so basically all I could do last year was flower containers on the porch and patio, and the one young tree planted in the front.)

Bobbolink, I may need your expertise in this area. :D

rai 03-07-2007 09:29 AM

Stats for Tuesday:
Calories: 1314
Fat: 21g (16% )
Carbs: 166g (45%)
Fiber: 32g
Protein: 119g (40%)

Went to Red Lobster yesterday (does this seem like a trend for me?) with some friends. I thought this would be the real test, since the last couple of times that I went there, I was with people who were also counting their calories. Well, ladies, I was not even tempted by the cheddar biscuits. I got my usual 1 pound crabl leg dinner with broccoli, and I was good. Scale is up 0.5 pounds today, but I'm not worried over it. I know it will go down as long as I continue to eat right and exercise.

Oh, I have good news. My intramural basketball team has made it to the championship game! The game is tonight at 6pm, so wish me lunch. I want to win. We're playing a team with a couple of refs on it, so we hope that the refs will call the game fairly (yeah right).

Bobbo, I still have a question about the Salter scale. Does it automatically rezeros each time you remove the plate (or whatever you are putting on it)? I want a scale that remembers the point where I zeroed it. I gave an example earlier of what I mean.

Hi Abbyin! It's good to have you join us. We are lively (and fast moving) group. Your calories sounds pretty good to me, and it's good that you are also measuring in order to gauge your weight loss.

Syncrosweetie88--Wow! That's a lot of exercise in one day. I wish I had that energy. You will be at your goal in no time.

Mami-Yeah, I was pretty happy about being able to run 5 miles too. My husband wants us to do the half marathon in october, but I don't even want to think about running that many miles again! I will probably do it though. Right now, I'm just trying to build my base and enjoy my runs.

So much more I want to say, but I gotta run!

Theresa... I often use smaller plates to appease my "Eyes bigger than my stomach" attitude. It does work!
Angie...Your self diagnosis about getting more water is a good place to start. Also getting more fiber will move your scale, You all probably get sick of hearing me preach about the benefits of fiber. :soap: But it sure works for me, last week I started eating Fiber One two or 3 times a day and I've dropped 2 pounds this week. (All the snow shoveling helped too)
Allison... Thanks alot, you added $100.00 to my Visa card this morning!:nono: My old Salter scale that I'm so fond of doesn't keep a running total of the foods you eat daily. I googled the model you purchased and was instantly jealous. I found a web site that had Free shipping, ordered it and can't wait to use it. I probably won't use the Fitday anymore, I'll have to wait and see. How you doing with yours? If you find some really good TVP recipes, please share.
Susan... Same goes for you about good TVP recipes, :chef:I guess I forget to use it because we always have so much Elk meat on hand.
Claudia... You made some excellent healthy changes to your lasagna recipe, all this talk about lasagna is making me hungry. Your new work-out schedule is very ambitious, just don't get burned out.
Rai... 1269 calories great! Fiber good too, I heard on the radio the other day that most Americans don't get enough fiber in.

Where did you find that information, I was asking about that a couple of months ago and don't remember getting a answer.
Cats Tongue...I love the quote you have at the bottom of your posts, funny! What does UBust mean?
Melissa... Great calores for you too (1145)considering the temptation of the dinning hall. Way to go!
Aphil... Do you have a large area to work with at your new home? I would have a blast landscaping at your home. We have 1 and 1/4 acres to work with at our house so we put in many fruit trees besides all the different flower beds. I have a huge shade flower garden just to the right of our free standing deck and we spend more time out there than on the deck. Do you have mature trees to work with?
Hi Athenac, Walking and anyone I missed. It hard to keep up with everyone so if I missed grilling you don't get offended.
Time to get my butt in gear for the day, see ya

Newbie, newbie here!!!

Good morning ladies ...

I will join you on your chat thread if I may. I have been up and down with my weight since my teens. Am in my early sixties, and my most recent successful run was 45 lbs., but can't seem to keep it off.

I like walking, water aerobics and am trying to make myself start on the weight machines!!!! I am retired and able to travel pretty frequently so that's a problem for me ... have that old *if I'm traveling, I MUST overeat* disease. :p I am 5' 9", and try to stay at about 1500 calories. Since Spring has almost sprung, I will try for some exercise everyday that I can. I got in a long walk yesterday, and plan another today. Monday will be my weigh-in day.

I will get to know you ladies better as time passes, I hope. I can't read all the previous posts at the moment, but will gradually catch up.

You girls have a great day! :)

rockinrobin 03-07-2007 10:48 AM

Good morning everyone.

I have had 3 days in a row now of off track eating. I don't like it. It started off with the holiday of Purim and now since I am left with all this garbage in my house it has continued. I have not had 3 bad days in a row of eating in over 6 months. I don't like it. I wasn't terrible, but I was untrackable. Maybe 1400 calories, maybe 1600, maybe 1800? I just don't know. I HATE not knowing. 2 bites, here 3 bites there. I have no idea what I consumed yesterday. I skipped dinner because of it and exercised like mad crazy. I am sore today. I am not happy. My daughter is going away with school tomorrow for the weekend and I am in the middle of making oatmeal cookies. I have already had some dough and now I just ate a cookie. What the heck is going on with me? What has happened to girl who for 6 months has had so much control? Where is she and how do I get her back?

babenwaiting 03-07-2007 10:53 AM

rockinrobin  ...

Boy, do I know how you feel! In your situation, I would toss out all the food that I can't control myself with IF I didn't have someone to pass it on to. No matter what it is, it's better in the garbage than on our hips. I know it's so hard to do ... But I manage to do it when I'm really serious about my eating which I plan to be AGAIN (starting yesterday.) Good luck, and know you're not alone!

:welcome: Babs!

Sloppy Joes
2 cups TVP granules with 1-1/3 cup hot water To hydrate , pour the hot water over the granules, cover and let sit while preparing the below ingredients.

1 Tbsp. olive oil
1 cloves garlic, minced
1 onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
6 oz. can tomato paste
1/2 cup water
1 tsp. oregano
1/4 cup ketchup (I omit this)
1/4 tsp. cayenne
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp. honey (optional) I also omit this, if you want to cut the acid in the tomatoes, use a little Splenda)

Heat skillet, add the oil, and when hot saute quickly the onions, peppers, garlic and TVP. Mix the tomato paste with the water and seasonings and stir into the pan. Bring to a boil, taste and add salt if desired. This doesn't take long, sometimes I don't boil it because I don't like it so dry. In the summer I add shredded zucchini to this to make it even lower in calories.

babenwaiting 03-07-2007 11:10 AM

Bobbi, thanks for the welcome. :) I love the Maxine quote at the bottom of your post ... hilarious! :D You must be Vegetarian, considering the recipe you just posted. Thanks ... I may try that one.

Well back from our holiday in Vegas. Had lots of fun but when i left i was down 5 lbs when we got back i was back up to 215 :( I thought with all that walking.....Anyways back to my counting this week and now at 212 (this morning) I really do not want to do this up and down anymore!!!!! I find i am just getting frustrated as this has gone on for too many years . Anyways sorry to seem grumpy. HEres to better days.

Angielynne 03-07-2007 01:10 PM

Thanks everyone for the encouragement. I've made a HUGE effort to drink more water the past couple days and I already feel way less bloaty, so hopefully I'm just retaining water weight and that's all...I would like to think I wouldn't have gained with eating only 1200-1500 calories and exercising every day, but who knows?

I've been working on upping my fiber and started supplementing with Benefiber to help throughout the day.

Here's something interesting you all might want to know. I visited a nutritionist yesterday because I've been having some digestion issues and I was talking to him about weight loss, colon cleansing and so on. He shared with me that in order to make weight loss more effective that it helps to cleanse the liver and colon because when those things are workin at optimum levels, then the fat is broken down and excreted more easily. He suggested an all natural liver cleanser that was a cup of grated fresh beets, a coupls tsp of pure olive oil and a couple tsp of fresh lemon juice. He said to eat a heaping tspfull before each meal and then a golf ball size amount once a day for a couple weeks. He said there's something in it that is a natural detoxifier and cleanser and will help the liver function better to clear out fat better...

Has anyone heard that before? I thought it might be worth a shot....

Petra6998 03-07-2007 01:55 PM

Hello everyone. I haven't posted well since last month. I have been keeping on track with my eating. Only a few bad things have entered my mouth, lol. But I really need to get back on the exercise thing. I just wish that Spring would get here, I am sick of the snow. I am looking forward to being able to get out and bike with my kids.

athenac 03-07-2007 02:30 PM

Good Afternoon all!

Yesterday was a good day, although I was a little low on calories, 1212. I don't think I'm bringing enough food with me when I go to school. I'm usually there from 8 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Angielynne: I've never heard of that kind of "cleanser" before, but there are so many of them out there. I know this doesn't help, but I'm sure there is someone on here is a lot more knowledgeable about it.:)

Have a good day everyone!

rai 03-07-2007 02:34 PM

Robin, One thing that helps me stay focus is by taking pictures...I know, but it has really been working for me. I took a picture in a bikini (front, side and back angles) and I taped on a wall in my apartment. I walk through the hallway everyday, so I have to look at the picture. Whenever I get tempted throughout the day, I just think about that picture.....Guess what? The cookie is no longer so tempting (at least not to me).

Angielynne 03-07-2007 02:42 PM

What's everyone's thoughts here on popcorn. DH and I are having a disagreement and I'm hoping someone can shed some light on it for me. He says it's a low cal filling snack...I don't know what I think.

The box I have says that 1 cup popped is a serving at 40 cal's. There are 3 servings per bag making a bag popped about 120 cal's give or take.

So at that..I would say it's a low cal filling snack..but won't the salt make you retain TONS of water and it's also almost all fat cals?

Does anyone else here use popcorn as a snack?

babenwaiting 03-07-2007 02:52 PM

Angielynne, popcorn is a great snack compared to chips and lots of other snacky foods BUT not if you pour butter on it. Plain air-popped corn is touted as a great low-cal snack except I can't eat it that way! :( NOW, the *light* popcorns are great as they pop in a small amount of fat. Popcorn is lots of GOOD fiber ... the only fat cals. are what you ADD to it. The nutrition panel on the side of popcorn boxes is made to be as confusing as can be. I think you'll find a cup is x-number of calories but then a serving is 4 cups (3 servings per bag); hence, if a cup is 40 cals., then a serving is 4 x that = 160. Buy the *light* snack bags or eat half a regular bag. That's good for you as long as you don't overdo it; just fit it into your daily calories. Hope this helps! P.S. Unless you're salt-sensitive, I wouldn't worry about the salt. Water weight is only temporary, and will always come off after a certain number of hours!

abbyin 03-07-2007 02:59 PM

Hi Bobbi - I don't know exactly where I read about the 30 fat, 40 carbs and 30 protien ratio. Back when I started my new journey last fall, I wanted to know what was the best ratio, so I just kept looking on the web and the 30/40/30 ratio is what I remembered most people/sites recommending. I don't know if it's right, but that's what I shoot for.

Have a great day everyone!

alinnell 03-07-2007 03:01 PM

Calories yesterday were good.....not quite 1200, but under 1400 for sure. The empanadas were good, but rather bland. They need some spicing up for next time. Using the won ton wrappers was really easy.

As for the scale. I don't know if it re-zero's automatically. I'll have to look at it. I know that you are supposed to put your plate or bowl on it before you turn it on so that it doesn't register the weight of the object. After that, I'm not sure.

I'll go home and look through my TVP recipes and post one tomorrow.

I'm off to a rather late start today as I had my weekly puppet show. I get a week off next week, then the following week is the final week. I'll be glad when it is over!

Have a great day!

syncrosweetie88 03-07-2007 03:18 PM

angie- i actually just bought a bunch of "snack bags" of popcorn that are only 100 calories each. they are 94% fat free butter, and there is actually a lot of popcorn in there. i dont know how filling it is, but i do know that it is something good to munch on.

robin- i also try to just throw away anything that might be tempting to eat. if you are having problems because you are eating things here and there you can try chewing gum so that you wont be able to eat while baking or doing whatever.

keep up the good work everyone!!

lfweens 03-07-2007 04:24 PM

I have a question for you ladies.

Do any of you have a "time cut off" for eating at night? I've heard that you shouldn't eat after 8pm and I've also heard that doesn't matter because it all comes down to calories-in vs. calories-out, no matter what time of day it is.

Sometimes I will finish dinner and still be under my calories for the day. Later on in the evening I want to have a sugarfree creamsicle or a mini bag of popcorn while watching TV, but it's 9-10:00 at night by then.

Just wondering what others do. Thanks.

athenac 03-07-2007 04:36 PM

In my opinion, calories are calories whenever you eat them. As long as you don't go over or eat a gigantic meal then go to sleep, you should be fine.

Not eating after a certain hour is a big Bob Greene thing. I think it's a crock! Really... think about it... in one sentence, he says stop eating after 8 PM (or two hours before bed) and force the body to fast until morning. A few pages later he says "maintain your blood sugar levels constant throughout a 24-hour period". Ridiculous! Just as getting up at 2 AM to "maintain your blood sugar levels" is ridiculous.

Math.

In - out = weight loss (or gain)

Afternoon, everyone, and welcome to all the new members! Yesterday's calories were low for me, just barely over 1100, but I wasn't working out or anything, just had a lazy day at home, so I think that made a difference. The days when I'm riding the bike or skating, it's like I can't get enough to eat, lol. Skating tonight for 2 hours, and will try to make it count!

I decided against buying a scale (non-food) for the house right now. I think I'd be too tempted to peek every day, and would probably get discouraged by the ups and downs of daily weighing. I'm just going to keep using the scale I started with, which is the digital at my sister's house. I go over there about once a week or two weeks, so I'll just weigh in when I go there. I'm going tomorrow, which won't quite be a week from my last weigh in, but I'll probably peek anyway. Not sure what to expect, since I had that bad day at the rink and haven't been doing great with the water. I'm trying to do better today, with 2 glasses down already. I try not to worry about the numbers on the scale, but I do anyway. I so want this extra weight off my body. It's like carrying around a 12 year old, 24/7, lol.

I naturally don't eat after dinner because I usually prepare a pretty filling dinner and I don't get hungry afterward. But I do not have a hard and fast rule for the exact time I stop eating. The other night we went out to dinner and didn't even get to the restaurant until after 8 PM. I agree with the quote

calories are calories whenever you eat them
Back to the food scale--I read the instructions. Yes, you simply hit the zero button after each food and it adds it up for you. You can also add foods or recipes that are not in the database. As I was doing my salad this morning, I realized (too late) that I should have used the scale so I'd REALLY know how many calories there were in it. Oh, well, next time.

Oh I listened to Bob Greene as well and cut off my food after say 7:00. When I finally got a handle on my control issues and then again started urging for something to eat at night, I said screw it. I now save some calories and do eat after 7:00 if I feel like. Something lite. My weightloss has not slowed down one bit since I started doing this. I say if you want to eat something at night - go for it.

Did good today, so far.

Shoveled snow 1 hour.
Also worked out 1/2 hr,(CURVES).

Calories so far are 1279. thats without an evening snack.

6 Glasses of water so far. will get at least one more.

I feel good today.

I don't know the amounts of % needed for fats, carbs, and protein. I have seen lots of numbers for them.
I don't have a cut off time for eating, I just try to keep in the 1400 calorie range. Sometimes I do, sometimes its less.

have a nice day, stay warm.

Hello everyone. Just checking in. I have kept my calories between 1150 and 1250 all week. One bad thing though - no exercise other than the regular walking I do at work. I agree with the comment regarding eating in the evening. I try to keep my blood sugar from dropping too low, so I can't go 5 to 6 hours without eating while I am awake.
