I'm glad you got things worked out and are feeling better today gf.
Sounds like a really good plan. Mine is very similar.

That's gonna be me next week when it's Dude's (FH) B-day and there's NO way I'm not having a piece of that cake I ordered today! NO WAY! I'll just have to walk 2 hours that day too!!!

I'm so sorry to hear that about your Mom. Hang in there!

Hi everyone

This is my first BL challenge so I am very excited! It looks like we have a great group

Dixied, I can't even imagine how much work it must take to set this up, so thank you!
Nixmom, that is wonderful!
Fauxtini, so sorry about the divorce
Diva, I plan on exercising at least 5 days a week but am aiming for 6. I count calories and watch my sugar grams and sodium mg's.

everyone. We can do this

Hey Blue Team!

I've been reading all morning, but I've been doing TBL Thread "housekeeping" so this is my first team post today.

In answer to the question about my plan.....survival. At this point that's all I'm promising.

Abby - I'm sorry about your situation. We've missed you on here. I see you on Facebook but it just isn't the same.

eusebius - That's a heavy-duty exercise plan!

Twilightwing - mmmm, pie. I know I'm going to screw up your name at some point and call you Nightwing. (just a random DCU fangirl moment)

**Yes, it's true. Sometimes the decision of which team to put you on is based on your username, the team you root for, your avatar, or location. But other than that, it's completely random. **

Kris - Congrats! When's the wedding?

Gotta go, boss is paging me.

Thanks for the hug Diva.

My plan of action is to get back walking, biking, circuit training and weight resistance (started walking on Monday), and count and log calories on fitday (started that on Monday also). That usually works for me.

congrats Nixmom on the engagement

twilight nice to see you here! love your avator. lol at Dixie saying she might call you nighttwig, haha thats so funny

retiredone sorry to hear about your mom

i have a really important exam on the 28th sept, so i wont be able to do as many personals as i would like. but will definately check in once a week.

I just put up a poll. My brain is fried from overtime, I'm not inspired to think up a new challenge on my own yet.

We can keep each other going. btw, I thought w5d1 would be killer, and it wasn't so good luck.
I am doing this for the third time. Twice before I got sidelined and couldn't finish... Once I pulled a muscle in my back and was having spasms and the second I had to have surgery and didn't get the program finished before I went in... Third times the charm right?? It is a great program though!

Mine is to count my calories on Livestrong (TDP), watch the carbs and exercise 5 to 6 days a week and track it at Sparkpeople. I gotta get my diabetes and blood sugar under control. It's a HUGE pain right now. [/b][/color]
My plan is to track my calories - everything that goes into my belly will be recorded! I also plan to focus on lots of fruit and veggies with protein while limiting my carbs. I plan to finish the C25K program - I run (well jog is a better word for it) Monday, Wednesday and Fridays. Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday is to the gym to use the elliptical and I must start doing something with some weights.

GO BLUE!!!!!!!!! This is actually my school motto (where I work)

Yes.

It took me 2 or 3 tries to finish the C25K. I finally finished when I ditched the podcast and used my own music. Now I run almost everyday. Usually 3-6 miles. I will be a year in Oct since I started and sometimes I still can't believe I'm a runner.

Twilight - What DVD? I was doing a lot of DVDs when I started out.

As for the Plan of action question.... My plan is continue using my bodybugg (basically just calorie counting) and really keep up my activity level. I'm training for my 15k on Nov 1st (glad to see a bunch of c25k people here!) and continue working on my biking and swimming over the winter for the longer Tris next summer.

That... and my plan is to also work on my nutrition content more. Less junky stuff and much more whole grains and vegs.

Plus maybe some strength training? Looking at working in the Chalean Extreme DVDs.
