Not doing well this week - I hate it when my schedule is different. More time at home should mean more time to cook, clean and exercise but all I can seem to do is munch and rest. Ugh. I do so much better when I barely have any time to work with. Oh well. I just have to get it back together for the rest of the week. I am going to go get ready to go to the gym and do some weights and run. I'm hoping to get in and out without my bosses seeing me and trying to get me to work today LOL. I am awful but I really want an entire day off today and once asked to sub, I have a hard time saying no. So hopefully no one sees me haha.

Cakses, always keep a little appointment book in your purse. On days you want off work schedule in the things you are doing at different hours of the day. When you are asked to work, whip out the little book and flip to the day's date and look as if you are checking your schedule and then look up and tell them the truth: You're all scheduled in for the day. I've had to do that in the past when I was working and didn't think I'd have time to do Christmas shopping. When our choir scheduled extra practices I whipped out my book and said I had an appointment/other commitments at that time. I didn't tell them it was Christmas shopping because the choir's priorities were not mine, nor mine theirs at that time.

LOL that is a good idea about the appointment book! Well I was seen but no one needed me thank goodness, so I made it home without having to work!
I was going to do weights but I decided to do an hour of cardio instead. I will get some weights in tonight at home. I'm off to make lunch and shower and relax for the rest of the day! Feels good to get the workout over with for the day so I don't have to stress out! |

Man, I stubbed my little toe this morning, :censored::censored::censored: it hurt and now it's purple and swollen. I think I might have broken it. :( So I'm taking it easy today, taking advil, ice pack and elevate it. Hopefully it'll be better tomorrow. If I can't walk I can atleast hobble downstairs and ride the bike. I hope everyone is doing well. Oh man last night's show was awesome!! I guess I should go to the spoiler thread. have a good evening. Talk to ya'll later. |

Hangin on today. Tonight was conferences at school, so I'm a little worn out. I also still need to work out.
QOTD- I smiled with the horse responses. I would not want to be one. Their diet sucks and they are truly a very fragile animal. I would want to be a dog. At least at my house. They have the life. Tons of love, good snacks, a warm bed to sleep on, tons of hugs and kisses. Yep, a dog. Beth- I have been doing level one with my BF. We are about to try level 2. Is it really that bad??? I'll check in in a few days and give you my opinion. |
I'll be done with my take off tonite...that means I'll get to eat some starches tomorrow...yay. I actually feel better and didn't get extremely hungry this time like I have the last few times I've done it. I feel good and am ready to stay on track tomorrow. I haven't exercised since I've been doing the take off either. I never do because of the low calories of the diet. Thank goodness it's only 2 days.

Hey!! Just a fly by. Looks like MOST of you are doing GREAT! Exercising, eating well.
I'm off to do errands and then have the dreaded "annual" dr.'s visit. I'll be glad to get THAT checked off my to-do list! The weekend starts SOON! |
Well I am hanging in there. Back to 184 today. I wish I would stop going up and down by a pound. It's getting annoying. I am going in early to work to swim for 45 minutes then take a quick shower and work my 1 hour shift. I am subbing for a friend who needs to leave early. No problem with me since I would have been there anyways to work out!
We got some good news this week. My DH finally has been given a surgery date for PRK (eye correction) surgery. He is so excited to not have to wear glasses anymore. I wish they covered it for spouses. But in any case it's great news for him! Well I am off to finish up house chores before I go into work. Hope everyone is ok - it sure is quiet around here lately! |
Does brain exercise count as exercise? I did 10 hours at the office and I'M BEAT - no way am I doing anything else! Actually - maybe I can manage some crunches and/ir lunges/ And the chocolate today <sigh>
Oh well, there's always tomorrow <to screw up, too, LOL>... |
Thanks for the kind words everyone. I'm feeling a little better today. I'm going to keep truckin and hope sometime gives eventually. Maybe that 30 day shred is the kick in the *** I need. :chin: I'm leaving tonight for Alabama. I'm getting excited to see my girls (well 2 out of 3 of them!) again. Hopefully I can use Sunshine's computer to post while I'm gone.

So, a good on track day, yesterday and I am doing well, today. I have even bumped up my water intake a bit. I want to see if it makes a difference for me. I am still unable to do any cardio, as I am sharply reminded if I just do a little too much when cleaning my house. I flipped and shook out my feather bed this morning and was brought to a stop. This really is starting to suck. I had planned on being in better shape, by now. Grrr!
