Three cheers for Andi. :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:
You know when you become discouraged/depressed over a setback, that's the most important time to come on line and post so your fellow chickies in the Red Team can give you lots of encouragement before you slip further. So happy for you. I guess things will be slowing down again on the boards as the weekend is upon us and most people are off doing weekendy stuff. So here's a question for us all to ponder during the weekend. ???Question of the Day??? November 7 What can I do to keep "on plan" during the weekend but still enjoy the company of family and friends? I don't like to draw attention to my "diet" when I'm around people. I eat what they are eating but I have really small portions of off plan foods and large portions of things like salad and plain vegetables. If the food is particularly rich, I'll skip the salad dressing and eat the salad plain to save a few calories. If I can't get in my regular exercise I try to go for a walk. |
I just hit a new milestone in my weightloss! I have now officially lost 25% of myself!! And just in time, too. I really wanted to hit that magic number by my birthday, and I was afraid it was too late, but when I got up this morning the scale read 164.8!!! So I get my birthday and my milestone all at one time (and this the lowest I've been since I was 15!!)
I'm so happy I could scream!!!!! |

Phew. Ok I am all caught up I think. Been crazy busy this week and have only had a chance to come over here and quick post. I am down 2 more pounds. I love TOM week. I consistently lost big numbers since starting my diet. Before dieting, my TOM week was a huge water retention week plus I gained real pounds too with bad choice foods. Now since I stay OP my body reacts nicely. I have never in my life said this before, but I really like TOM now - LOL! I even remarked to my DH last night that I barely cramp like I used to.
We are having a major rainstorm over here and it took me over an hour to get home from the doctor last night. Needless to say I missed swim practice which sucks because that was my only cardio I had planned. I did do lower body weights while watching Smallville last night though :) Today I am going to the gym after DS gets on the bus and running as far as I can, which will probably be around 3 miles or so. Then I am going to throw on my bathing suit and fins and kick while DS#2 is in swim lessons. That way I can still watch him and get some more exercise in. Tomorrow my team has their first meet. I am going to pack a lunch to take with me so I stay OP since the meet will have the usual hot dogs, nachos, pizza, etc. No way I am eating that!!! |

WTG!!! Andi and MonteCristo!!! Congrats on hitting those milestones!!!
I'm loving my Wii Fit and the balance board. I got on it this morning and did my 30 minutes of Fit. and i am loving weighing in on it now. I'm at 132.5 today (was up some this week for bad choices)...and considering it's down over a pound from yesterday and i had Wendy's for dinner (had chicken instead of a burger), i was thrilled. apparently i'm moving around more and burning more calories than I thought. I forgot to wear my HRM during the vet visit, but OMG i know i burned at least SOME calories trying to hold on to and control Diego....he weighed in at 95.6 lbs and is almost 15 months old. whew! i thought he was gonna snap my arm off this morning when i was trying to sign him in and more dogs were coming in - I had wrapped his leash around my arm to keep him near me....then he walked around a display there and almost knocked it all down, luckily he just knocked a few pamplets down. lol but his tests came back negative :) and he's good to go till next November. Have to call next week to get Samantha an appt for her annual stuff. fun fun. lol need to get DS some lunch and put him down for a nap so i can do the rest of my wii game time. i unlocked the boxing portion on the Wii Fit, and that's fun ;) and am getting better at the hula hoop exercise, i unlocked the 6 minute duration ;) but will need to keep doing the 3 minutes for a while before i try to brave the longer workout. ;) LOL see yall later! |
here's a pic of Samantha and Diego with hubby.

Wow, it looks like our thread is really slowing down....please don't stop chatting everyone! We need each other. Remember, we are family!
My regained pounds have been dropping off quickly and I am looking forward to weigh in this weekend! I gotta get a bunch more exercise in this weekend too! Let's have a great weekend! |
I'm still here! My work schedule is changing so after this weekend I will be chatting more hopefully!

:congrat: Andi and MonteCristo! :celebrate:
I'm doing double overtime tomorrow. This is supposed to be my weekend off but I really need the money and it's the 11am - 7:30pm shift which is the one I would probably have to work if I ever go fulltime. So I might as well see how it is. If you hear about some worker going ballistic at the San Antonio VA.....you know who it is. :p  |
