Josephine - I say this with the ut most love ... I hate you () Really congrats on all your loss. It is going to be great having you as our biggest loser in the throwdown in a couple weeks. You're going to kickbut, unlike I did last challenge.

Yeah Josephine - you have lost like a quarter of your body weight since the start of the challenge. I've lost like 35.5%, but that has taken me since 15 September 2007 (which is like 11 months, not 11 weeks).

You really do rock girl!

LOL, wow, I didn't think I'd lose enough to compete in the big arena! We'll have to see how that turns out, but if I can bring it home for the Blue Team I'll be so proud!! You ALL have been such inspiration and motivation to stay on plan and work hard every week! I'm so glad I found this challeng -- for me it came at exactly the right time and with exactly the right PEOPLE!

I did a photo comparison of my waistline this morning, you can see the photo on my blog if you're interested!

Hey gang. I actually went to the gym today to do step. Wow!!! I am so out of shape. I still love the gym but man, I need to get into gear again. People told me that I haven't gained any weight but I sure feel like I have. Maybe its cuz TOM is coming and maybe I'm bloated. I don't know but I know I haven't lost anything. well, just stopping in to say hi. debating if I should go to toys r us, Elmo TMX is $12 until tomorrow and DD loves elmo. Talk to ya laters.

Hi all,
Jo has acheived TBL-TV-worthy weight loss!!! Man, if she had only really been on the show, she'd a blown 'em all away. Simply amazing, Jo. And Kelly, for the long run, you are the inspiration. I know I can do it when I think of you.

Jennifer, thank you so much for your sweet thoughts - they touched my heart

Tawny - good to have you back!!!

Yeah, Amy!!! Rub it in! Both you and Nori weigh more than I do, and both of you are in same size or smaller clothes. I figured it must be the weights and the elliptical - so now, I'm doing both!!!

(Did you guys get this??? Just wondering . . .)

A couple of more quesions . . .

To repeat a question Kelly had of Anna: "Anna - How did you get to be so wise and sage with your advice?" You really do come through with great information and wisdom so many times. Pretty amazing.

And another Kelly question: When do we sign up for the next challenge???

Later . ..

Well, my dad's surgery went okay. I'm at the hospital with him, and they have the offending gall stone in a container here in his room. It is about half the size of a deck of playing cards in height, and thicker. Scary. When they went in for surgery, it had dislodged itself from his intestines and broke into his stomach, so they had to cut into his stomach during surgery to get it out. What a mess...

But he is doing okay now. He's got oxygen, a drain coming from his abdomen, a feeding tube, an IV, pressure wraps on his legs...my mom said he looks like a bionic man He is running a slight fever today, but nothing too scary.

As in the most multiple personalities recorded for one person? (at least, I think that was the significance of Sybil). I watched a movie about it years ago. That's okay, though--we love ALL of your personalities

Jill -- I'm so glad to hear your dad's surgery went well, what an amazing thing to have even survived! I like that you guys get to keep the stone as a souvenir. I think you need to make your dad a t-shirt that says "I survived the great gall stone of '08"!!! Sending positive vibes for his continued speedy recovery!

Vix -- Congratulations on the brand new virgin number, WHOO HOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A lot to catch up on and I think I had only not posted in a little over a week. Still doing okay. Actually eating less which is suprising to me. I used to always eat 3 meals and 3 snacks a day and now I'm down to about 3 meals. That's fine because as long as I'm not hungry I am good to go. Got back on the exercise wagon for the 50th time. The ipod has definitely been helpful. I've actually been quite obsessed with it. Who knew, a binger with obsessive traits? I have over 400 songs on it and two different podcasts that I am subscribing to. I am at 130 days binge free as of yesterday. The way I am eating works well for me and I hate to mess with it because of the fear of bingeing so I know I just need to ramp it up when it comes to exercise. Started my 10K (thanks to Rhonda) training program yet again this week. Right now that's enough for me. In September I will add more.

Kelly & Kim--Congrats on onederland!

Doragone, Rhonda, & Amy--Congrats on the new sizes!

Jill & Nori--Your families are in my thoughts.

Regarding inspirational folks--Everyone on 3FC is inspirational to me. We have all decided it is time to take care of us and find the support that we need to get there.

Next challenge--I heard Julz (on her blog and from one of her team members) decided not to be the leader for the black team for the next one so I wonder how that will work out?

I forgot to weigh in this morning before I ate and exercised - but I feel smaller and "think" I broke into the 230's. Will be oh so good today and weigh in tomorrow. I forgot to fast yesterday morning for my blood work - so I seem to be having a problem remembering things in the morning!

Jill - I'm os glad your Dad is rocovering as well as expected. What an ordeal!

I'm happy to report that even with all the family stress recently (starting about 1 month ago with my Mom's heart attack and now with Lucas...) I've been able to avoid my old habits of binge eating to cope with stress. That makes me happy!

Day 3 of chemo and steriods for L and he's doing good. He's such a happy baby. They did tell Amy that they will be inpatient at the hospital for another month. At first they had told her she could probably go home Tuesday and come up 3x/wk for chemo. But I understand. It'd be awful to lose him to a simple infection at this point. He did need anther blood transfusion yesterday. Numbers dropped so fast from his last transfusion last Thursday.

Well, I have a busy day planned and I think the weather is going to cooperate!
