Hi All,
Here is the update, not working out, but made a very healthy din-din. I am going to have to count calories again, which is a chore that I don't usually enjoy - but it works.
I am still torn up about my $60.00 YMCA membership, to cancel or not... I am still debating this.
BF's blood sugar was at 330 this afternoon, but after meds it started going down. Got down to 261 before our dinner. Going out to rollerblade once dinner settles in my tummy. He had a few awesome job interviews last week, so keep the prayers rolling. =)

Just dropping in for a quick note - We are going to see Wall-E tonight so if we want to run before the movie we better get goin' asap. I am taking a freebie week this week since I saw a bit of a gain this morning at my WI - which I'm cool with as this week has generally been stressful and while I haven't been totally eating off-plan I know I have been tossing too much junk down my gullet and missed a couple runs to boot Good news is our major stressor of the week turned out great in the end - DH's immigration interview for permanent residence (in which we had to convince a total stranger that we have a legit marriage) was Friday, and we answered their crazy questions to satisfaction I guess, and he should be getting his green card in 3-6 weeks So huzzah! Major hurdle overcome, much more relaxed now!

Hope everyone is out having great weekends!

Jaime-That's great about your hubby!! Glad it went well.

I have had a great OP day . . . I was tempted to be bad when my friend and I went to Ruby Tuesdays, but I stuck to my plan and had a delicious OP lunch! I'm a little worried about my weigh-in on Monday just because of jumping on the scale and seeing an increase. I know it's TOM related, but I'm hoping that I won't have to post a gain this week because of it. I have done great staying OP for 12 days!

Hi... I totally splurged today, but I think it was worth it because I was never out of control, and I ate a ton of fruit, which can be caloric, but is still healthy, and boiled crab and shrimp made by experts, which I rarely get the opportunity to have! Still, I have to make sure I am back on track for visiting my family this week...
whew, I have been super busy, but I hope everyone is staying strong!

Hiya Bluesers!

Congrats on your loss, Amy!
Congrats on acting like a real married couple, Jaime!
Congrats on 12 days OP, Jennifer!

I have a big NSV...I stayed OP through a theater visit and dinner at Applebees! On the way to see Wall-E with the family, I enjoyed a string cheese and some cherries. During the movie, I sipped on a diet Coke...no buttery popcorn and no Junior Mints. Then, we went to dinner afterward...no margarita, no fries, no burger. I had a bowl of the WW onion soup, a small salad with dressing on the side (I just did the fork "dip" while eating my salad) then a small sirloin steak with steamed squash and carrots...and,I gave my youngest daughter my little chocolate mousse dessert cup. What is really surprising me is that my scales haven't moved all week, yet I've not comforted myself with going off-plan. OMG...this is so huge for me!

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend.

GO BLUE!

So if anyone reads this this morning, send some happy running vibes my way! I'm up at 6 am to go for my 18K with my clinic group this morning and I'm trying not to be intimidated. I packed my bag last night so my water and my shot blocks and everything are ready to go. Now I just have to digest my oatmeal and get dressed!

Have I mentioned that I so don't do mornings and that I must be off my rocker to voluntarily wake up at 5:45 on a Sunday??

I know am having the same problem trying to find a balance between home much food I need with all this exercise and I know you get in more than me

Hi everyone! I should be doing laundry, but well...checking in here is WAY more fun!

Jaime-Congrats!

Jennifer--Good for you for staying op!!!

Amy--Great job!!!!!!

Rhonda--Fantastic! Great job!!!!

Kim--How was your run?

The wedding was fantastic. Everything was beautiful and it was a lot of fun. I over ate a bit, but not too bad. Looking forward to getting back to 'normal' w/ exercise and food. Not much planned today....just getting caught up on LOTS of laundry.

Hope everyone is having a great op day!

Quickie quickie check in: I kicked my run's butt and polished off the 18K in 2:13. Thought I was going to die at 12K and 16K but I pushed through. Doing the long run with a group was fantastic for motivation.

And now I have to get my butt out the door for an afternoon of watersliding. I'm trying not to think about all the stairs!!

I am back! It has been a bad couple of weeks, first I hurt my calves and so was out of action for a few days, and then I came down with an illness which took a while to get over, then a two day trip to the Capital ended up taking 4 days. I gained back in one week what I had lost in a month. I can’t believe I let that happen. The muscles I was proud of are disappearing; I am not feeling great about myself at the moment. And I feel like I have let you all down

Tomorrow I start over. (I actually wrote this a couple days ago but couldn't get on the internet. So I really I am already back on track, exercising and enjoying it, tracking my food, and cooking healthy-ish foods. I feel much better already)

I hope I am still in the competition, I realise I didn't post last week, if I am not still in the competition can I still post and weigh in?

Hi everyone,
Been hanging with family and BF and eating healthy. I had the best applesauce ever today. I bought it from the farmer's market. It was made with apples, cinnamon, and water.

I'm not necessarily exercising consistently but doing something here and there. TOM is on the way so we will see what he does.

Hi everyone, RANT, RANT, RANT TIME:
Stupid new neighbors moved in, took a box I had off the back porch so the can move their HUGE bbq in, and put it on the front porch. - okay that's fine - box is just of clothes and small items i was going to donate anyway - lol. But then the took these two little tables from the front porch and pushed them in front of my door - WTF is that, they couldn't have been in the way at all, so why were the moved!
Well, I think I am going to smear dog **** on the outside of their air conditioner - LOL! That was my first thought, LOL!
