  • TENNIS WAS AWESOME! Go me, I am in a good position to hit our 245 minute goal this week, anyone with me !?!?
  • Just stopping by to say a quick Hi. Just so busy here. Will be back later.
  • Quote: I hope I am still in the competition, I realise I didn't post last week, if I am not still in the competition can I still post and weigh in?
No matter what, you keep posting and weighing. This is about more than a competition, it is about us.

Quote: TENNIS WAS AWESOME! Go me, I am in a good position to hit our 245 minute goal this week, anyone with me !?!?
Tennis ... no ... exercise in general ... yes

Quote: Hi everyone, RANT, RANT, RANT TIME:
Stupid new neighbors moved in, took a box I had off the back porch so the can move their HUGE bbq in, and put it on the front porch. - okay that's fine - box is just of clothes and small items i was going to donate anyway - lol. But then the took these two little tables from the front porch and pushed them in front of my door - WTF is that, they couldn't have been in the way at all, so why were the moved!
Well, I think I am going to smear dog **** on the outside of their air conditioner - LOL! That was my first thought, LOL!
Was this stuff on your property or on their property. I would be nipping this in the bud quick if it was your stuff on your property. I can't see how anything on your property could be in their way. Sounds fishy (or something that rhymes with Fishy) to me.
  • Kellly i think you are right about not eating enough but i have also changed things up so my carbs are lower after asking in the calorie counting forum that suggestion was made and its a combo of fewer carbs around 40% doing a little less exercise and its working.. today i weigh even less then yesterday .. lol im a whole 1 pound 1 lighter then yesterday lol.. this morning my scales say im 263.3 .. lol so im on a roll atm.. and im very pleased about it i now promise to stay off the scales till weigh in day.. though..

Vix do you share the porch with them??? if not they shouldnt have touched your stuff .. i love the dog sh*t idea.. do it .. lol

Mj im glad you had fun at the wedding

Kim you go girl all those kms.. you must be melting in the heat well done

    Rhonda great nsv...
  • Kelly and Amy - it is really hard to say whose property it was on, we have a shared like, 'california walk up porch' - like a inn almost. In the back they have to walk past our door to their door, so I could see them moving that - right. But in the front, WE have to walk past their door to get to ours, so I am thinking the front is more ours - so why the **** would they even touch anything out there.
Also, I had no idea anyone was moving in - or I would have cleared out the back porch for sure - I thought it was just a cleaning lady or something fixing the place up.
The real joke is when Barbie finds out that the building has mice, LOL - usually happens during winteer, which we are PRAYING that we can get out before then.

Amy - seriously considering the dog **** thing, but not sure if I have the nerve to do it. It all depends on my mood.
  • Weekly Update:

Whoa! Not sure what happened with my weight this week, but up 3.8. Though last week coulda been a fluke of some kind. Whichever! I'm not that down about it. Must keep going forward afterall.

I'm still writing down my food, but this week is going to involve some tough love as I choose to remove the foods that I wouldn't be eating so often at home. Still only eating 3 times a day at the most. (Unfortunately, due to schedules it's sometimes less than that, but I'm getting along.) It's really tough to say "no" to foods after a long day. Even tougher to say "yes" to more exercise after one has been on their feet all day. But, it must be done!

Looking forward to getting home in 2 more weeks.

Good & happy wishes to everyone!
  • Faerie, you've got such a great attitude! "It must be done" is exactly the mindset I need to get back into as well.

I start my 6 months of medically supervised dieting with my doc this week. I'm not sure I'm down in weight at all since the last time I saw her, especially after this past weekend (my birthday was yesterday).
  • Happy Birthday Jill!

  • HAPPY (BELATED) BIRTHDAY JILL
Hope you had a wonderful time!!

  • Happy Birthday Jill!!!!

  • Morning Blue Team!

So after feeling apprehensive about weighing in this week after I jumped on the scale mid-week (and mid TOM) and saw a 2 lb gain I fought and fought not to let it drag me down . . . . and I WON! I am down a pound this week! I am beyond thrilled. I have been OP for 13 days and looking forward to #14 today. I am officially saying good bye forever to the 260's and I'm coming for you 240's! Hope everyone has a great OP day today!
  • Well, the scale stayed the same this week and that's ok....maintaining is better than a gain! I know I have to get back into my groove w/ exercise and consistent good food choices. Next week I want to see a loss!
  • Happy Birthday, Jill!
Jennifer - Congratulations on your loss!

Well, after another perfect on-plan week and weekend, my scales stayed exactly as last week's weigh-in. I must confess to feeling extremely discouraged. I thought I would see a little something at least. Today, I have a spreadsheet opened and I'm back to calorie counting again. Also, I must limit myself to 2 fruits a day and 2 whole grains. And, the treadmill is my new BFF as of today!

Hope everyone has a great on-plan day.

    GO BLUE!
  • Good morning team!

    Jill- Happy belated birthday!!!

Rhonda- Good for you for reacting by creating a more structured plan instead of emotional eating. I'll bet that the scale is just taking some time to reflect the good choices you made this week and that next week you'll have a nice loss to post.

As for me, I don't have a loss to post for the week but that's ok. I really pushed myself last week for those 3 lbs and I took it easy on things this week. I was actually up 1 lb the other day so being back to 200 is good.

Between my run yesterday and then the day at the waterslide park, my body is tired today! The kids and I are going to have a really laid back day. If I'm feeling more energetic this afternoon I might do the abs yoga video but we'll see. Oh, and I'm going to a drumming circle tonight which I'm really looking forward to.

    Have a great day everyone!!
  • Kim - What is a drumming circle???
