Good Morning! Only three more days until I am on vacation! I cannot wait! Still not exactly sure what we are going to do, but at least we won't be at work!

Amy--Thanks! That works for me!

vix--YEA for 3 days of working out in a row!!!

Dora--98 days is fantastic! Great job!

Jill--Good for you for getting right back on track!

Went to the gym last night, but didn't put a lot of 'oomph' into the workout. That will change tonight!!!

Have a great on plan day!

Good morning, Bluesers!

I'm still on-plan even though the scales are now showing a 1 pound gain. Grrrrr! Something I ate yesterday has given me an upset stomach today, so I'm gonna make this short and sweet for now. I'll check back in again later.

Hope everyone has a great on-plan day!

i have a total of 3 ipods now... but I only use the classic. My square shuffle is acting up, and daniel uses the touch.

I wanted to get an iphone but the bill would be way too much for me right now.

So I had a rough weigh in this week because I decided to wait until the last minute to weigh in and I started my period the day before I weighed in. So I was up 3 lbs.

Daniel and I were talking about me being unhappy because of my weight last night in bed and we decided since we are not getting any younger and we are definitely not getting healthier that we need to start and we will be doing so together. Our mission this evening is to make a huge chart on a poster board with our starting weights and pictures and weigh in weekly much like here. We've decided to kick the fast food bucket for lunch (unless its like subway or a salad) and eat at least 3 healthy dinners a week to start off gradually.

My biggest downfall is breakfast because its when I'm alone and I usually eat on the way in. This morning I opted for Starbucks, which I got a non fat caramel macchiatto and a toasted multi grain bagel. I much needed improvement versus a mcgriddle combo.

I really need to dedicate more time to blogging and getting my negative voices out of my head. I thought about Josephine when I had this idea since she journals everywhere

In other exciting news, I got a tip on a job lead for a real estate management company near my house. I had all intentions to go, but now that I'm thinking about it harder and talking to other people, I neglected to see some things that are really beneficial to me here. I've come to the assumption that right now is not the time, and when the time is right, the offer will come my way again.

Wow I just realized we only have 3 more weigh ins til the challenge is over. Are you nervous? Excited? Have you met any goals whether they be major or minor? What are you going to do to celebrate your achievements? Will you be coming back for another challenge when the show begins?

I think that's enough QOTD's to cover it.

Ok I think that covers it. I need to go check plurk... I'm having withdrawls.

OH! PS: I know some of you were wondering about Daniel's condition. He just got his results back from his blood and urine tests last week (he's been out of work about a month now) He officially has a bladder infection and a mild liver infection. He's on antibiotics and painkillers now, so he should be able to go back to work for light stuff at least Monday.

He's had tons of diagnosis. At first they told him IBS, which he still has. Then they said he had extra secretions from his liver messing up his system. Then they told him he had a bladder infection and Hepatitis B in his liver (which he could potentially have given to me! ) Now finally they have said its a bladder infection and liver infection that are treatable.

And people wonder why I never go to the doctors....

As far as my lyme's disease and/or rocky mount spotted fever, I only had symptoms that one day. I'm still on antibiotics so we'll see if it comes back when I run out.

Ok... going for real this time!

Hi again! I am seriously counting down the time until I can leave and go to the gym! Wow....never thought I would say that...

Rhonda--Hope you are feeling better! Hang in there, the scale WILL cooperate.

Shay--Yea for a new ipod!

chellez--It sounds like you and dh have a great plan to get yourselves healthy! So glad that dh finally got a diagnosis and its treatable. Also glad that you are feeling ok.

Answers to chellez long list of QOTD: I cannot believe the challenge is so close to being over. I am pleased w/ my progress, though I would like to have a bigger loss (there's still time, of course!) Not sure what I am going to do to celebrate...I am starting to plan my 'goal weight' tattoo which makes me VERY excited! Not sure if it is going to be something that stands alone or something that ties some others together... Of course, I have time to figure that out, I have a ways to go before I reach my goal. I will be back for another challenge!

Hi again team,
I am always reading on the net, looking for ways (at least recently) to put more into my workouts, or to motivate me more and I found this site. http://www.global-fitness.com/. Here's some quotes from some of the articles:

Being defeated is often a temporary condition. Giving up is what makes it permanent. Marilyn Vos Savant

Nobody trips over mountains. It is the small pebble that causes you to stumble. Pass all the pebbles in your path and you will find you have crossed the mountain. Authour unknown

And here's from the motivators:

The experiences that cause us to grow are the ones in which we're challenged to push ourselves past our previously perceived limits. Strength is built in response to challenge. A bodybuilder must lift heavier and heavier weights in order to increase muscle. There is no other way. The more magnificent the accomplishment, the more daunting are the challenges that must be overcome.

The challenges you face provide a pathway to excellence. They are difficult and they will bring out the best in you. To be the best, you must be willing to face the biggest challenges. you most certainly can do it. It's what you're designed to do. It's up to you.

I'd provide more, but the articles are protected from cut and paste and I have to print, then type it all out, but you guys get the idea. This is great little nugget of a site that gives out a lot, for a little $. Hope this will inspire any who are struggling.

Dora

Oh, and to get the articles, click on the left side of the screen where it says "Get 2 free ebooks" by taking this challenge. You just answer a few questions and they further try to get you to sign up, but they do not bug you, I get one email every 2 days to see if I'm interested, that's it. Very useful info.

Here's some of the article links:

OMG I am sooooooo happy. I went shopping today and I bought an 11-12. I have not been in that size in YEARS. I made my 14 year old take a pic of me in my new clothes.

Talking Update

Question, I think Chellez asked;
Wow I just realized we only have 3 more weigh ins til the challenge is over. Are you nervous? Excited?
No neither. I know I will not be a winner, but won in the sense that I have made some awesome online buddies here, more than anywhere else on 3fc, or online in general.
Have you met any goals whether they be major or minor?
Minor, I have continued to loose! Minor, I met the 5 lb mark this challenge (I don't think I did last challenge). MAJOR - in May I worked out over 800 minutes, which is double my monthly goal of 400 minutes, and it was the first time I ever met the 400 goal. MAJOR - got to the 10%!
I did not meet my goal of 15 lbs lost, but I am about 8 lbs closer now than I was when I started.
What are you going to do to celebrate your achievements?
When I can hold at the 20 lb mark, I get new gym shoes and pants.
Will you be coming back for another challenge when the show begins?
OH MY GOD - **** YEAH! and be dragging my sister along with me.

Chelle's questions of the Day from yesterday:Wow I just realized we only have 3 more weigh ins til the challenge is over. Are you nervous? Excited?
Sad, I enjoy the challenge and the people. I will miss this while we wait for the show to start up.

Have you met any goals whether they be major or minor?
All Minor:
Past the 100 lbs lost mark
Past the "twice my DS's weight" mark

Almost doubled my working out time

What are you going to do to celebrate your achievements?
Keep doing it

Will you be coming back for another challenge when the show begins?
As Vix said "OH MY GOD - **** YEAH!"
This is a great way for me to fell part of something while doing this and not so alone, because I think we can feel that way, even though their are hundred's of thousands out there just like us

HELP!

I am feeling sorry for myself, I think because as chelle mentioned yesterday, we are coming up on the end of the challenge and realize that I am not going to make the end goal I set for myself. This will be the first time I set a goal and didn't make it. I will have hit (hopefully) all my minor goals by then as I only have 1 more minor goal to make (Onederland, which is 2.6 lbs away).

BUT ... I don't see how I can get down 7.4 lbs in the next 2 WIs for me, when I have averaged 1.3 lbs a week. I just hate that I am not going to make a goal I set.

I know I should focus on what I accomplished, and not what I didn't accomplish, but that just feels like quiting on my goal, SO, I am going to push these last 2 weeks and try to make the 7.4 lbs, I'll get as close as I can get.
