Purple--its nice that you got to be the hand to hold...if even for a little bit. your little ones even more, I really feel for that little girl!

Orthodiva that is really cool! Love those non-scale victories! Now you get to buy some NEW clothes

Keillynsmom I would take my walking shoes and head out the door whenever I needed a break! You could get in alot of 10 minute walks over the weekend! Even if you have to march up and down the same street over and over I bet you can find a way to stay active

OolongFormosa Don't ya hate that? Grr...but GOOD for you that your healthy changes are starting to SHOW!

JustForUs that walk sounds really cool! Hang in there with your baby girl, that is tough. I hear it gets easier as they grow up GOOD for you, for still getting your workouts and food plan done, I'm impressed! Being a mom is hard work!

chiquita have a great weekend!

Kim hope you stay better now, happy biking!

Back later Black Team! Keep it up!

Hi Everyone!

Just a quick check in to say Hello to everyone. My first 12 hour night shift back at work last night turned into a 16 hour unbelievable busy night! I only was able to go to the restroom once and only had a chance to drink one cup of coffee and scarf down half of a turkey sandwich. Thank Goodness nights like that one are far and few between!!! I know I did not get in enough food for the 24 our period or drink water like I should... hope that doesn't stall things too much. I was an idiot thinking I could eat (I prepared 2 meals and took to work) after arriving at work so all I ate was a cup of milk and a Fiber One bar on the way to work. Big mistake!

I'm so happy for everyone and want to encourage each one of us to hang in there and be strong with our eating and exercising this week. I have a feeling we are going to post some great numbers at this week's weigh in!!

I'll check in again tomorrow

"What have you discovered on your weight loss journey that surprises you?"

The fact that I actually like and enjoy working out surprises me. I used to hate, I mean HATE, PE. I hated running, too. Anything physical, I hated.. except dancing. Now that I actually enjoy working out, and even when a routine on workout DVD is difficult, I don't give up, I do what I can and wait till the next routine I can. I would have given up if it was old me and just say "Oh well, WHATEVER! What's on TV?" Not anymore. =)

After 2 weeks of "break" from Curves, I finally went back today. It wasn't like I was not doing any workout, I still did workout at home, but just haven't had enough motivation to go there. The lady at Curves called me at the beginning of the week... and then today, my BF said "You wanted my support, I'm going to be putting down $5 for every pound you lose. Then you BETTER go there and do your best!" So I finally went there... after I did hour workout at home... I was sore all over from 2nd day of Pilates and felt all groggy and blah... but as I was doing more and more, I was more motivated and by the second round, I was running on the "rest board" and everythign. When I was walking out of there, I was hyper and happy! =)

While getting ready for work, this one pair of capri popped up in my mind for some reason. In March, it was so tight I couldn't even button it up. I wore it and it's actually little bit lose on my thigh... So i'm very excited. =)
Funny thing is...when I bought it, I weighed about 187 or so...Now I weigh 198.8 (well, I actually weighed 197.6 today but I'm gonna wait till Monday for my official..)... The pants fit me better now at 11 lbs heavier than back then when I bought them. When I was 187, I lost 17 lbs just by watching what I eat, with NO, 0, exercise back then. I am losing with watching what I eat AND working out this time. I wonder if that has something to do with it... =)

Well, just wanted to stop by and say hi and enter my workout data...Will be back later.

Hello everyone. It is one more day closer to the 3 day weekend!!!! Yeah even though it is going to be a busy weekend.

Taragettingthin it is the exercising and firming up the body it is weird how that works, that you can weigh more but fit in the clothes better. I carry pretty much all my weight in the belly and that is the hardest place for me to lose as well.
Well the busy weekend starts tomorrow so not sure that I will be able to log on as I usually don't have even get 5 minutes to sit down.
Oolongformsa that is so awesome you should be smiling BIG!

Have a great night everyone

Huh? 3 day weekend? What?

lol...
I work on Sunday AND Monday AND so on... so no 3 day weekend for me. I do get holiday pay, though as I work on the holiday...

I'm sitting here craving some salad. How weird. I never thought I would actually crave salad... I'm turning into a rabbit or or horse as my DD says... "Umma... the horsey is eating grass!!" !!!

Hey gang! I don't know about y'all, but I'm so glad tomorrow is Friday. I plan on doing some serious Spring cleaning this weekend.

I don't know how I did it, but I'm down 3 more pounds this week. I really watched what I ate the past few days and exercised harder, so I guess that's it. I've lost a total of 40 pounds since I started in January. My clothes are so baggy, but I hate to spend $$$ on something I'm not going to wear very long (hopefully). One of my coworkers told me she was going to buy me a new pair of pants because she was tired of seeing me continually pulling mine up!

Oolong, I feel your pain. I'm 36, but when I go to my parents, I revert back to this 12 yo girl looking for something to eat. Plus, my mom is an awesome cook. I do better now. She does cook healthier than when I was growing up and I just limit my portion sizes and don't go back for 2nds. If she's made a dessert, I'll have a small piece and savor it. I also "pack" food so I know I have healthier snacks--microwave popcorn, breakfast bars, etc. That helps me tremendously.

"What have you discovered on your weight loss journey that surprises you?" I'd have to say that I miss working out if I don't do it for 2-3 days. I told my doctor that at my last appointment & he looked at me stunned! I can also tell when I have food with a higher amount of salt than I'm used to. I end up so thirsty, even though I may not taste it in the food. I limit the amount of salt I add to my cooking so that makes a huge difference.

Have a great evening & HAPPY FRIDAY!!!

Hi team! Just wanted to check in before going to bed.

What have you discovered on your weight loss journey that surprises you?

That I can run and not hate it. Seriously, I never thought this would be true. It's still really hard for me, but I'm enjoying it, AND my mom told me she would buy me a new pair of running shoes for graduation because I've been doing so well.

Have a lovely night, all. Sweet dreams!

Oh My Goodness... So the server is back up but... it seems like it lost everything since May 23... ouch. I don't remember all the workouts as I don't write it down other than on 3FC. I did update the weight..but hmmm.

So everyone, do NOT forget to go back and post your weights again, as everything past May 23 is gone.

I missed you guys so much today!!!

Yeah, I'm worried that some people had already posted their weight for this week, and will not come back by Monday to repost it.

I don't know what my weights were the past two weeks, because I have not been updating my little sheet at home, since I had them on here....and I thought this site was more reliable than my folded up piece of paper I hope Julz has our weights somewhere...or if not, what do we do? Guess?

Hey gals,

I'm just dropping in to say that I'm taking a little break. Not from the diet and exercise, but from posting (and probably reading). I can't quite pin it down, but I'm just feeling a little 'too much' lately with the diet stuff. I've got to find a balance somewhere, and I don't think sitting at the computer reading and writing about it all day is helping. With an always on connection I'm finding myself at the computer far too much recently. With the summer here I'm going to make an effort to stay away for a while. To try and get myself into doing other things, instead of just tying myself to the computer. So, it's a self imposed break, maybe until the end of the month.

This will effectively take me out of the challenge. I'm thinking in the end that this is probably a good thing. I realized that I'm really not into the competition model for weight loss. I do wish you all the best and I do hope that you all continue to lose weight and improve your lifestyles.

Take care all.
