Hi BLUE CHICKS,
Just got off the scale and saw a 'VIRGIN #' 164.8! Going to aerobics class now sort of nervous.

JILL -- And the whiskey river chicken burger is still 954 - WITHOUT the french fries! how can that be??? oh my, just goes to show you that what they say about portions is really true. Either that or their bbq and ranch sauces are particularly deadly.

Whooohooo. I'm down 2.3lbs for the week. This is pretty monumental for me since I GAINED 2lbs on the last one.

That is all.

In respect for Chellez's wishes, I have decided to keep my weigh-in day as Friday rather than Monday....therefore, I am down 3 pounds!

pfttt....That man is hopeless. Ladies, I really do feel for those of you who's husbands are away from home for months at a time, but I'd really like my Hubby to go away for a while....or, at least get a job outside of the home. We both work from home for our employer...which means, we are around each other 24/7. Some say that familiarity breeds contempt....well, familiarity also breeds total boredom. There is no spontaneity or passion anymore. I'm bored....bored, bored, bored! And, guess what I do when I'm bored? I eat. Argggh.

I looked at them briefly, but I couldn't convince myself that they actually worked. I'll have to take a second look. I'd love something like that.

Tawnya, this really doesn't sound like a great situation. I'm worried about you. Do you have someone to talk with...like a minister, counselor, maybe a women's shelter? We don't have firsthand knowledge of the dynamics of your relationship, but your statement about him not allowing you to do something is a big red flag.

If you're like me and just like having some power tools, then enjoy your new sander! However, if you want to save a little money, liquid sander would work perfectly for your project.

Congratulations to everyone posting losses for this week. The Blue team is gonna kick some booty!

Well, today is housecleaning day and I will probably make a Home Depot run. Hubby is playing on-line poker. It's free and no money involved, but it's aggravating the he!! out of me! The puppy is getting into everything and I need to find a way to confine him to the rooms I want him in. Those doggone puppy/kid gates are too expensive. I think I'll just buy some plywood and put them up as a barrier. Much cheaper!

Hope everyone has a great on-plan day. GO BLUE!

Hi Blues!

Made my mini-goal for this time frame - 235. As far as the tea, don't forget it takes a few days to "feel" it. It simply makes me calmer, esp. about food. How do I feel? Excellent, no craving, headaches, nerves or feeling deprived. And not quite 6 lbs - 5.6 - but I'm thrilled with that. Gotta go, daughter's Special Olympics walk-a-thon is today, as well as the Master Gardener's plant sale at the fairgrounds. A pretty cool day ahead in my book. Keep up the good work team, can't wait to see how well we've done!

Hey chickies!

I'm up this morning at 11 but I haven't gone outside yet. Haven't weighed yet either... one sec..

202 still... I don't think I'm gonna get any lower for the week so I'm going to go ahead and weigh in now.

Congrats on all the great losses posted here! I'm so impressed that some people have lost 3+ lbs already!!

I'm down about 1 lb. for this week, but I think I'm still carrying some water weight from my huge crazy nyquil-induced binge on wednesday. So hopefully if I am OP this week I can lose 2 lbs-- 1 of bloat and 1 of real weight.

BTW I've always been super jealous of people talking about farmer's markets in their area, and then I saw a sign on my laundry room door yesterday that there is a Sunday morning farmer's market in my neighborhood! It is like a half mile away, and I'm going to make DF walk over with me in the morning so he can carry any heavy stuff we get

My coworker suspects, based on other farmer's markets she's been to in DC, that it is mostly meat and cheese and prepared foods, but I am hoping for some produce.
We'll see!

Yuck..it IS raining right now. I had to change into jeans because I didnt want my other pants to get wet. They sorta drag on the ground.

Oh well..my first solo walk in the rain. Here goes nothing...

Hiya Blue Team

I thought Id pop in and say HI Im down 2lbs this week

I'll get caught up with everyone hopefully this weekend.

Im a bit confused....when I signed up I was one weight, on the actual start date I was another, totalling 10lbs from my first sign up. What number are we using? I need to know so I can keep my weightloss in the weighin thread proper.

There is a native plant sale here next weekend that I hitting. I am slowly taking out all of my non-native/invasives and replacing them with a better selection. I hope to get something to replace my barberry. I wanted to replace with blueberry bushes, but the ones I found were so small it would be an eternity before they were truly replacements.

Enjoy your day!

I haven't found a huge farmer's market...we have a few guys that setup roadside stands....I get my vegies from them over the summer months...much cheaper....

However for plants....our local high schools have an AG department and the kids grow plants for class credit....they sell them in their greenhouses....I got a HUGE Wandering Jew plant.....for $10 everywhere else I have seen smaller plants for $17+ ....they have flowers and and garden plants for very reasonable prices!

for those of you that don't have farmer markets you might check out the local high school and see if they have something similar.....

I am struggling this week on exercise.....I experienced some severe leg cramps earlier this week and my calves are still tight from them....I've increased water and potassium in hopes of relieving the cramped feeling....I am going to get on the treadmill for a bit and see how they do.....I still have two days to make that trip to the beach so I guess I can try!!! LOL not expecting to make it there this week but hoping for next weeks destination!

I love Farmer's Markets - we usually go weekly once the produce really gets going. You can check out http://www.localharvest.org/ - put in your zip and it's give you a variety of things depending on which radio button you click.

Had a great workout this AM. I wanted to do yard work today, but it looks like it's going to rain at any moment. I need to put together my hanging flower baskets and I can do that in the garage...so I guess that's what I'll do.

Im back from the Y and I had a REALLY great work out. I just LOVE that feeling of walking out and knowing how much you have done for your body. Nothing beats that feeling. It's what keeps me going.

So Im going to get all mushy and say that I am really proud of all of our blue team. We are doing awesome and we are totally going to KICK BUTT! I don't really know any of you at this point but I hope that over the next few months we really get to know one another. Im so happy to be part of blue. So, I guess thats all. Keep up the good team mates!
